Natasha left after spouting words so ominous, Adam could already see the flag wagging at him from beyond, he was left alone and pondering in place.

The less Natasha wanted him to know. The more he wanted to. Because he could feel that he might regret it if he did nothing once again.

Once bitten, twice shy after all.

' — And a new one on the list.'

He took a look at this mental list that was constantly being filled and winced a bit.

It had only been a few hours today but he felt like he had enough things to do on his list to fill days and months in his planning.

'I wish I could manipulate time.'

Though he could accelerate greatly his thoughts and simulate in a way time dilation. This was wasn't exactly enough.

"Ugh…"

He shook his head at those useless thoughts and focused on the important matter.

The good thing at least was that he had finished with his school for good now.

Even more so, now that he knew that Alberto was a vampire. He knew that his friend was alright and nothing was tying him to this school now.

Standing up, a wistful smile formed on his face as the cold wind swept his hair.

Memories flashed in his mind as he remembered all the good and stupid moments.

Here, he met many interesting people. Precious people who would come and become his friends.

Now, he was leaving this place behind, forever turning a great page in his story.

This was a new step. A new beginning.

His feelings left the ground as he started to float.

Soon, he was more than 50 meters above the sky.

His blue eyes scanned the campus one last time before he finally left.

A few minutes later, Adam was floating above nowhere with his head down as he made a call.

Around him, a flock of birds were flying happily after leaving startled croak when he initially approached. The way they were clearly confused about why the hell a human was in the sky was quite funny.

"So, Hacker. Do you have the info I need?"

[Prince. I am also alright. I had a beautiful day. Though I am a little tired. What about you?]

Adam chuckled, "Sorry. I was in too much of a hurry. I hope everything is alright on your side."

Hacker's voice seemed instantly less grumpy, [Good boy. I knew you weren't as scary as you looked.]

A small laugh followed and he could hear the sound of someone sipping a drink, [Well. Nothing better than a coffee cup to feel awake. Don't you think so?]

Adam gave a bitter smile. "I don't need coffee."

[I am envious. Anyway, You asked me many things. Which one is it.]

"The matter about Shuri."

[Ah that one…]

Her voice stopped and soon, a string of numbers started to appear on his retina.

It didn't take long for the number to change in picture and information to follow.

[Name: Williams Nakiri.

Age: 47

Profession: Lawyer.]

[His true name was William Love. A failed lawyer and a living son-in-law. Which is why he took the Nakiri name. It seems like he is also a gambler. Bet most of his wife's fortune in a casino in Las Vegas. Owned obviously by a Mafia group.]

"So this is why he targeted Shuri."

Adam looked at the picture of the middle-aged man. Despite his appearance, he was clearly still very handsome and in fact, had a certain mature charm.

'How is his relationship with Shuri's sister and is she in the knows?"

How much she knew about this would change how he would treat her.

[This isn't magic you know. I cannot get information that doesn't exist on the net. But from what I can deduce and the message she sent, she was convinced by her husband that they should ask Shuri for some money.]

A snicker leaked out, [In fact, this really seems like a pitiful woman. She has two young children but her husband is a player and a cheater. If it wasn't enough he is also a gambler. But she continues to support him. Love truly makes one stupid.]

"A stupid woman, huh."

Adam muttered under his breath for an instant. This description reminded him of Hae-Won.

'Well. It isn't my problem.'

"Send me the whereabouts of the man. I also want information about the gang that controlled the Casino and all the people in the know about the debt."

[Easy. Anything else your Majesty?]

"Heh. Once you have the information about the mermaids. Send them to me."

[You know. I am really going to start charging my service.]

Adam chuckled as she cut the conversation after throwing those words.

Out of all the Hounds, outside of Mammoth and Nikola, Hacker was the one he had the most contact with.

–Even if only through the intercom.

'I should buy her something later.'

At the end of the day, she was not his subordinate. So he should indeed give her something.

His smile stretched further when he received the GPS localization.

This girl was really good at what she did.

The sun had long since set and a man was leaving a bar with his steps unsteady and his face flushed.

"Ugh…Where are my keys?"

He fumbled around in his suit before the sound of the clicking key reached him and walked towards his car.

His mind was a little clouded but the fresh air was slowly helping him push away the feeling of drunkenness.

Finally stopping at his car, he pushed his back against it and sighed. He was not so drunk he didn't understand that driving in his current stats was dangerous.

He was feeling tired. His life was in shambles and everything seemed to fall apart.

When he finally entered the car, he simply leaned back and looked at the ceiling absentmindedly. Wondering if he should sleep here.

"Fuck…"

Simply thinking about what he had to do made him feel like he was about to throw up.

Or perhaps it was just the alcohol speaking. It was hard to say.

"Why is everyone so incompetent."

He had been waiting for the good news for some time now but no matter how long he waited, nothing was announced.

Did they want him to do it himself?

Cursing under his breath, he took out a pack of cigarettes and placed one between his lips.

Sadly for him, his lighter refused to work.

"Fuck…"

But it was then,

*Woosh*

A small flame appeared close to him,

"Want fire?"

"Thanks."

He mumbled first before realizing something.

He was in his car…

But then — Who just gave him the fire?

He looked on his side, only to be greeted by a masked man clad in nothing but black.

"Hi! I hope you will enjoy this smoke."

He had no time to say anything back as he was instantly stunned and the light went out for him.

(AN: I am still leery about just how much importance to give the hounds. Though I like Hacker. Always loved cyberpunk type girl. Hehe. At the end of the day though, this isn't really a secondary character centered story so we will see.)
