The Blue Eyes

Kris just finished taking shower, but he didn't find his lover in the bedroom. Frowning in confusion, the burly man decided to look for his cute lover in other rooms.

His right hand was busy with the towel to dry his wet hair, while his left hand swiftly pressed the doorknob before pushing the door open.

His sharp ears caught the sound coming from the TV, and he could guess that his lover was in the family room now. He beamed brightly before continued his step to the room.

Once he arrived at the room, he found Kevin lied down lazily on the couch. Instead of watching the television, the scientist just stared blankly at the ceiling. Kris laughed inwardly when he saw his lover's adorable behavior.

The taller man walked over to the couch before he bent down to lift Kevin's long legs, and sat beneath the pair of long legs. Now Kevin's legs were placed safely on his lap.

"Uh? What are you doing, Kris?" Kevin asked in surprise.

He wanted to get up, but Kris's strong hand pushed his chest back on the soft couch.

"I know you're tired," the tan-skinned man stated. "Let this humble servant massage your tired legs, alright?"

Kevin couldn't help but chuckle when he heard Kris's random words.

They were engulfed by silence afterward. Kris continued massaging his lover's legs, while the said lover gazed at him with an unreadable gaze.

Kris noticed the gaze, but he didn't say anything.

"Kris," Kevin suddenly called out to his name, and he simply answered the call with a 'hm.' After hearing the short response, Kevin continued, "Can we take a break for a while?"

Kris's hands' movement on Kevin's legs halted. He stiffly turned his head to his lover.

"You want to break up with me?" He asked in disbelief.

His heart thumped loudly behind his ribs. He wasn't ready for Kevin's answer.

But, to his surprise, his lover just giggled cutely as he brought his body to sit beside him.

"What are you saying?" The black-haired man asked in amusement. "I'll never want to break up with you. I just want to take a break from this novel. I'm really tired, you know?"

Kris could heave a sigh of relief after hearing his lover's explanation, but the clarification couldn't erase the wrinkles on his forehead as he still frowning.

"You can't take a break from this novel, Kev."

The scientist looked up at him in confusion. "Huh?" He asked. "Why can't we take a break? Can't the author give us one or two weeks for holiday? She's been stingy all the time. She hasn't even paid for our salary."

Kris chuckled when he heard his lover's protest. He stretched out his strong hand to ruffle his lover's jet-black locks.

"What salary? Our author is too poor to give us money. She relied a lot on the coins given by our readers, so we should shower our readers with love. Our readers spent lots of coins for us."

Kevin blinked innocently at his lover. "Do you think our readers love us, Kris?"

The taller man raised one of his eyebrows when he heard the question. "Of course," he answered confidently. "Give me your phone. I'll show you how much our readers love us."

Kris didn't need to order his lover twice as the said lover immediately grabbed his phone on the table and unlocked it using the iris scanner. He then handed the phone to Kris, and Kris gladly accepted the phone.

Kris's thumb moved swiftly on the phone's screen, and he opened one of the apps there. He opened the Webnovel app and showed it to his lover.

"Look at this," he instructed the scientist. "Our dear Bonnie_Hopper_RN spent most coins for us. She gave us power stones as well."

Kevin's eyes stared at the Top Fans list of "THE BLUE EYES [BL]" novel, and he found the nice Bonnie_Hopper_RN on top of the list.

"She's so nice," the scientist commented. "But, other readers gave a lot of support as well. Let me see our top 10 fans. There are Bonnie_Hopper_RN, Summer_Scott_1541, xiaojiu, Amy_Amie, BossLady, hunter_rife, Jessica_Ajirotutu, Queen_Decontee, MichelleLeeee, and Madina_Dube. This nice reader xiaojiu even gifted us with a Ring, Potions, and Balloons, Kris. Oh! Sammy46 also gifted us with Grimoire. They're so nice."

"You're right," Kris agreed with his lover. "And, look at this pretty lady MichelleLeeee. She's the one who helped our poor author color the previous book's cover. You know how bad our author is at drawing, right? She's so lucky that this honey lady MichelleLeeee is willing to help her for free."

"Free? Our author couldn't pay her?" Kevin asked in disbelief. "Our author is beyond poor, Kris. You're rich, right? You should donate her some pennies."

Kris facepalmed. Sometimes, his lover could be so innocent that he wanted to slap him. Yeah, he wanted to slap his sexy booty until it turned red.

Kris chose to ignore his lover's words and went back to the Webnovel app. He once again showed the screen to his lover.

Kris could hear Kevin's question, but he didn't immediately answer the question. Instead, he swiped the screen again using his index finger as his eyes scanned the comments on their novel.

"Oh! I like this comment!" The tan-skinned man exclaimed when he finally found his favorite comment. "Summer_Scott_1541 said that we should get married because the readers need some happiness. We should talk with our author about it."

Kevin facepalmed when he heard his lover's statement. Kris suddenly looked so silly in his eyes.

"You want me to marry you?" The scientist asked, and his lover nodded his head firmly. "Then, I want a cruise ship as the dowry."

Now, it was time for Kris to fall speechless at his lover's request.

"I indeed said that I'm rich, but I'm not that rich, Kev. I can give you my speedboat as the dowry if you want to."

Kevin just nonverbally respond to his lover's question with a roll of his eyes. His lover was just all talk without proof. He always boasted that he was rich, but he wasn't even willing to buy him a new car.

Kevin suddenly frowned as he kept staring at the phone screen, seeming to be in deep thought.

Kris noticed the oddity in his lover's expression, so he asked, "What are you thinking so deeply?"

The raven-haired man finally looked up at him and stared at him gloomily. "Our readers are so nice? How can we pay for their kindness?"

Now Kris understood why his lover suddenly acted weirdly. The taller man scowled for a moment, but then he grinned widely.

The grin looked so dangerous. It looked more like a smirk than a grin. Too bad that the innocent Kevin didn't notice that he was in a danger.

"You can give them one kiss each, Kev!"

Kevin blinked confusedly at his lover.

"You want me to kiss them directly? Should I kiss them on the lips or cheeks?"

"No! That's not what I meant!"

Kevin was a bit startled when he heard Kris's hurried rebuttal. "Then, what did you mean?" He asked innocently.

The grin turned into an obvious smirk as the taller man replied, "You can pass the kiss to me. We have more than 530 readers now, so you have to kiss me at least 530 times. Right on the lips."

Kevin's eyes widened at his lover's statement. It seemed that he just realized that his lover was playing tricks on him.

"Why should I kiss you? I want to pay our readers, not you!"

Kris laughed joyfully at his lover's rebuke. He then bent his body forward so that his face was only inches apart from Kevin's face.

"Don't you know that our readers love to read our kissing scene?" Kris whispered right in front of Kevin's face. "And you know what? They will love it even more if we can make love in every chapter. What do you think about that?"

The blood in Kevin's body accumulated in his face. He quickly tried to push Kris's body away, but to his dismay, his lover was stronger than him and now he was pinned down on the couch.

"Let me go, you pervert wolf!"

Kevin tried to free himself, but Kris didn't budge.

"Let's make love now to make our readers happy!"

And Kevin could only surrender when his perverted lover started attacking his body.
