Systemless in a Parallel World



Less than an hour passed since Zayn encountered the Army of the Demon King's direct subordinates and the Blessed rescue team, and the entire battlefield could be summarized with a single word; chaos.

The ten Infernal Demons were much stronger than everyone had expected. They unleashed some sort of devilish power for the first time in the records made by humans and were thus able to fight the Heroic Blessed Soul Saints head-on. Their fight was terrifying to look at, but Zayn trusted his allies enough to focus on his own battle.

He knew that the Normies were strong enough to defeat the Soul Adel and hold back the Infernal Demons if something was to happen.

The three Soul Saints of the Normies, who were present, were not focusing on the Infernal Demon attacking them. Normie King was a little injured but so was the Infernal Demon.

No powerhouse was unscathed and the number of wounds accumulating all over their bodies increased steadily while their energy decreased slowly but steadily.

Only the Normies' energy was kept at a certain threshold. Whenever their energy level decreased, they absorbed the soul particles stored inside a few Soul Orbs, replenishing their energy rapidly.

This gave them the advantage needed to balance their lack of unique powers and superior physical strength.

Three Blessed were already severely injured and so were five Infernal Demons. Both sides were still fighting by giving their all, but it was obvious that they were wearing each other out. It was only a matter of time before their energy level would reach a dangerous threshold. By then, the Normies' advantage would outweigh every possible disadvantage.

While everyone else was struggling to stay alive, fighting with their life on the line, Zayn was having the time of his life. His strength increased slowly and steadily, and so did the number of his Spirits.

Within a mere hour, his Dark Wings Unit expanded by 1,000 Demons, the Sorcerer of Doom obtained 200 new members, and the Daemons Unit's numbers increased by 2,000.

The number was terrific high, but Zayn was on a roll. He began the battle by killing a bunch of Demon Overlords, but it didn't take much time before he focused on absorbing the ownerless soul particles of the decreased while simultaneously manifesting more Demon Spirits.

The manifested Demon Spirits would then attack their former colleagues, increasing the death toll on the side of the Demon army. In return, Zayn could collect more Soul Wisps, manifest more Spirits, and absorb more ownerless soul particles.

It was a deadly cycle, which Zayn exploited mercilessly. The Infernal Demons noticed this, and they were enraged.

However, now that they fought the Hero-ranked Blessed, there was no escape from their clutches. The Hero-ranked Blessed were also angry. They just wanted to fight and kill the Spiritmancer to receive the bountiful rewards of the system. Why was it necessary that the Infernal Demons attacked them?

Fortunately, they received new system missions to eliminate the Infernal Demons. Thus, their focus was currently on obliterating the Infernal Demons before diverting their focus back to Zayn. Thus, nobody was able to lay their hands on Zayn, not even when he was slowly growing stronger by slicing down the Demon Overlords, one after another.

The Blessed fought with all their might, killing three Infernal Demons after fighting a battle of attrition for hours. However, in exchange for being able to kill three Infernal Demons, four Blessed were severely injured, to the extent that they couldn't keep fighting.

Meanwhile, the Infernal Demon fighting the Normie King and his allies succumbed to his injuries. Zayn used this opportunity to control the Infernal Demon's Soul Wisp to materialize it later. He was unwilling to leave such a treasure when it was basically thrown right in front of him.

"Now it's time to go all out!" Zayn shouted, willing his Spirits to start an all-out attack to obliterate the Demon Overlord Army. At the same time, he began to attack the Demon Adel. it was about time to change the tide of the battle for good. Nobody shall look down upon him after today's battle!!

Normie King and the three dozen Normies were influenced by the influence of the battle, and the destructive power Zayn and his Spirit Army had shown over the course of the last few hours. They were full of energy while their opponents were slowly drained of their last bits of power.

If they wanted to show the Demon King and the government of Blessed that nobody could fool around with the Normies anymore, they had to go all out now.

The severely injured Blessed were trying to flee. Their movements were slow, but their intention was apparent. They had to report on the power of the Spiritmancer, and the new intel they made about the Infernal Demons.

However, before they could escape the cruelty of the battlefield, Zayn appeared in front of them.

Cy-Stride was not a technique that allowed him to move through space, but it was a technique that released the accumulated force in the body in an instant. This made it seem as if Zayn moved through space. He crossed close to 1000 meters at once and appeared in front of the severely injured Soul Saints after three uses of Cy-Stride.

His body hurt a bit, but the discomfort that spread through his entire being was not noteworthy. Zayn had gone through worse.

"Did you guys really think that I would allow you to leave? The nine of you wanted to kill me," Zayn said coldly, the blades of the Dragontale Twin Sabers shining dangerously.

The Normies wanted to stop Zayn, but Normie King held them back. It was already too late. Zayn made his decision and stopping him right now would indirectly hint that there was a rift in the Normie Union's opinion about how to deal with the government.

Zayn's action might not be right, but it was not wrong either. Just because the Blessed had been given missions to kill him, didn't mean that they actually had to obey the system missions.

However, that was exactly what they did. They obeyed the system and ignored the fact that they were about to kill someone innocent, just for some reward.

By allowing the Blessed to complete their missions without any retaliations, Normies seemed like pushovers. That was something Normie King had grown tired of. Thus, he supported Zayn's action.

If you accept missions to kill Normies, we will kill all those who are found guilty of this inhuman crime – That was the mission Normie King wanted Zayn to convey, but he knew that the young Otherworldler would topple his wish.

Zayn wanted to kill the nine Heroic Blessed Soul Saints and manifest their Spirits, humiliating not only all Blessed, but also the Divine Beings, whose Hero Blessing would be abused and forcefully released from their control.

A vibrant smile formed on his face at the thought of manifesting the Spirits of the Hero Blessed and the Infernal Demons, and he pierced out, ignoring the pleading Blessed.

"I am not running away anymore. Come for me, I will face you all!"
