My Mage System



Alan didn't hesitate for long because Axel was after all his best friend and Kevin was also a Warrior Spirit, so he asked him, 'Has Kevin ever been ill? Has he ever thrown up, for example?'

Axel frowned at this and said, 'Apart from coughing up blood when he's injured, and fainting because of mental fatigue, Kevin has never been ill and it's impossible for a Warrior Spirit to be ill.'

Axel told him then, 'When Kevin got this system one of his innate skills was, 'blessed by the gods', which means that his body will remain in perfect health, and that no disease or harmful substances could hurt him.

This innate skill is directly linked to the fact that he's a Warrior Spirit... Alan, what aren't you telling me, what happened?'

Alan sighed and asked him, 'Could you please come and look at him again? When Erik woke up earlier, he threw up several times and complained about his stomach... It's also the first time he's been ill, so I don't really know how to react.'

Axel then said, 'OK, I'm on my way, just give me time to write a message to Kev in case he wakes up.'

Axel immediately cut off their conversation and left a message by Kevin's pillow so that he couldn't miss it if he ever woke up, he'd learned his lesson from last time and he wasn't going to make the same mistake again.

Axel then teleported directly into Alan and Erik's Royal Suite and Alan was still stroking Erik's belly, who seemed to be sleeping peacefully now.

Alan then said to him, still using the communication stone to talk to Axel as he didn't want to risk waking Erik up, 'Could you check the area where my hand is, that's where Erik complained of his tummy ache, I just want to make sure he's OK...'

Axel smiled at him and nodded, his eyes turning golden as he used all his Divine Wolf senses to try to detect any anomaly that might explain Erik's stomach ache... And Axel eventually found something strange.

There was a little glow where Alan had put his hand and when he concentrated on it he heard what sounded like a racing heartbeat... His eyes suddenly widened and when he tried to approach his hand closer to check that it was indeed a heartbeat that he had heard, he was suddenly thrown against the back wall of the room by an unknown force.

Alan's eyes widened too and he swore so loudly that he woke Erik up who immediately activated his Stage 2 and stood in front of him to protect him, but when Erik realized that it was Axel who was there, he looked at Alan and asked him: "What exactly just happened?"

Axel got up and the wall behind him was partly destroyed, so he looked back at Alan and asked him: "I'd like to know what happened too? What was that force that propelled me across the room even though my Divine Wolf was activated?"

Alan looked at each of them in turn and he said to Erik first: "Sorry Sweetheart, but I was too worried so I asked Axel to come over and check again to see if you were ok and if we hadn't missed something that could justify your stomach ache..."

He then turned to Axel and told him: "When you moved your hand towards his stomach, our Dual Cultivation bond changed of shape and gave you a sort of energy shock... It's the first time I've seen our bond do that, I'm sorry... Did you find out anything?"

Axel then said to them: "If it was your Dual Cultivation bond that acted of its own, then we should warn Elias and Miguel about it... I may have discovered why Erik has a stomach ache but I'd prefer Elias and Miguel to confirm my suspicions, so I'll be right back."

Axel disappeared before Alan could stop him and Erik frowned as he asked Alan: "Elias and Miguel are still in that training dimension which is completely full of black particles now, aren't they?"

Alan nodded and said as he opened his arms to pull Erik back against him: "I don't know what he's found out to make him take such a risk but whatever it is we'll face it together."

Erik snuggled into his arms and said: "You're being dramatic, I don't feel that bad..."

But as soon as he had finished his sentence, he scrambled to his feet and went into the bathroom to throw up again.

Axel first stopped in the prison dimension and tried to contact Elias, but when he didn't reply he also tried to contact Miguel, but again he got no answer...

He then conjured up from his personal dimension the Divine Sword that he had created for himself using the new knowledge of the Runes that the Creator had left him, and using the power of this Divine Sword, he deployed his powers to the maximum before teleporting to the training dimension where he could feel a strong concentration of energy that could only have come from the shield that Elias and Miguel had put in place to protect Ian, Jordan and Atlas.

As soon as Axel appeared right in front of their shield, Elias swore and created an opening so that he could get inside to take cover, and the little time Axel had stayed outside their shield was enough for his skin to turn black all over and Elias said to him: "I hope you're going to be able to manage these black particles on your own because Miguel and I are starting to run out of strength."

Golden flashes appeared all over Axel's skin and he replied to him: "It's OK, don't worry about me, I took precautions before I came."

Miguel then asked him, surprised: "Why did you take the risk of coming here, it couldn't wait?"

Axel then told them straightforward, as he didn't know how to break the news without it coming as a shock to everyone: "I think Erik's pregnant and their Dual Cultivation bond just propelled me several feet away from them when I tried to check that it was really a heartbeat I'd heard..."
