Lin Chen didn’t budge. He spoke plainly. “Since we are on the subject, I’ll be direct and tell you that, as a brother, I hope that when Lin Nuan chooses a partner, she doesn’t have to consider anything else. She can’t bear the weight of paying back your grace to the Lin Family on her own!”

Lin Chen knew what kind of girl Lin Nuan was as he grew up with her.

He said with a smirk, “You should settle your affairs with these women around you before touching Lin Nuan! If she really accepts you, I can take care of the matters you can’t so she wouldn’t be devastated by the truth!”

Lin Chen then stood up and grabbed his suit jacket with an ice-cold expression as he slowly put it on. “I have a family dinner to attend. Can’t stick around!”

After he left, Fu Huai’an opened the envelope and saw a photo inside.

It was Lu Xiangsi’s cousin, Lu Qili.

She had been sponsored by Fu Huai’an until university and was under his company.

He coldly examined the girl who looked similar to Lu Xiangsi on the photo.

“Brother Fu…” Tang Zheng entered the room with a smile.

Fu Huai’an looked towards the door and saw Tang Zheng enter the room and lock the door. He put the photo back down on the table and asked plainly, “Why are you here?”

He drank his tea and flipped open the document that Lin Chen had left on the table. “What’s this? Were you negotiating with someone here?”

He then saw the content of the stock share and was shocked. He slowly looked up at Fu Huai’an and said, “Man, you’ve got game! Where’d you get this from?”

As he asked, he glanced towards the signature and saw Lin Chen’s striking name at the bottom of the page.

Tang Zheng thought for a moment and made a joke about it. “Wow… is this a gift from your great uncle? To thank you for saving his father and uncle? Indeed… the Lin Family knows how to pay people back! First, they sent the beauty Lin Nuan to sacrifice herself, and now this stock share! You didn’t waste your time saving them—Lin Nuan is really your lucky star!”

Tang Zheng noticed Fu Huai’an didn’t sign the contract. He asked, “Why didn’t you sign?”
