"I don't care about your ridiculous ambitions in creating some new sword technique, it's good for young people to have ambition after all but I just have one requirement.

If at the end of my teaching, you can't create these new sword techniques you must fully give up the sword and switch to become an assassin.

No matter what the situation is, I won't have my student become a failure!"

As Serena spoke you could tell she was being deadly serious but when Lucius heard this instead of becoming worried he just breathed a sigh of relief.

"Well if that's the only requirement you have then of course I accept!" Said Lucius emailing

"But teach I've something to tell you, it seems like I'm gonna have to burst your bubble of having your first student being an assassin. After all, when I say something, even if it sounds ridiculous to other people, I damn well mean it! "

As Serena heard this her eyebrows twitched yet again

Arrogant!

The famously smug face and confident aura radiated from Lucius yet again.

But for some strange reason, She didn't find it as annoying this time, instead she even found it a little…. Cute?

Mr. Hoffman at the side just watched the whole thing, still a little stunned at how the entire situation had just solved itself in an extremely strange way.

Eventually, he just sighed as he helplessly turned towards Lucius.

"Boy, you just can't stay out of trouble, can you?"

Not knowing what to say Lucius Mr. Hoffman just Scratch his head a little embarrassed.

"Can you try and stay out of trouble from now on?"

"Well.. I can't make any promises Mr. Hoffman."

Before Lucius could Continue a chop landed on his head!

Looking to his side he didn't even know when Serena managed to appear at his side.

"Aren't you insisting that you're going to get into more trouble?"

Rubbing his head Lucius's just mumbled

"But what can I do? I don't know the future so why would I lie?"

Looking at Lucius, Mr. Hoffman could already feel his blood pressure rising.

He looked over to Serena with a sense of pleading in his eyes and asked

"Please try and control him, Serena. I'll be counting on you."

Hearing this Serena just waved her hand

"Don't worry, if he still has energy to go around and cause trouble after my training then I'm definitely doing something wrong."

After Serena finished speaking a familiar dark and sadistic smile appeared on Serena's beautiful face

Lucius shivered slightly at the familiar sight he could now only associate with a near-death experience but decided not to think too deeply about it.

Soon afterwards the teachers on the board broke out into long conversation again.

Although the incident had been resolved between Serena and Lucius themselves with them even becoming students and teachers, things could never truly be that simple.

The incident was officially logged and as such it would have to still go through some more laborious and official processes.

Naturally, Serena had to stay behind to handle all the official work.

Lucius on the other hand was quickly dismissed, not just because he was a student but also due to the unknown state of his injuries.

Walking out of the room Lucius didn't head back towards the infirmary like the teachers had expected but instead went back to the dorm.

He knew his body best and also knew that there was no point in going back and that he was healed enough to reach peak health as long as he took another healing potion

So Lucius began his journey home, But as Lucius was walking back he happened to run across a familiar face

Walking back he saw a man frozen with shock looking back at him.

The man didn't look too outstanding but his green eyes were curved and slanted almost like a serpent and that was enough to jog Lucius's memory of who this man was

"Oscar right?"

"Yeah, I'm surprised you would still remember the name of a little man like me"

Hearing this Lucius's face twitched before it changed into a rather scary smile

"Little man? How is that possible? How could I forget the name of the brain behind all of Xander's plans"

"It's also because that I have a bone to pick with you"

"Gulp!"

Oscar couldn't help but gulp nervously as Lucius walked towards him but he didn't want to show much weakness.

Oscar faced Lucius head on, and spoke.

"Although I may not be confident in facing you in a fight I'd be careful about doing anything too drastic. After all, I know more about you than you could expect, I've been watching"

As he said this a smug smile appeared on Oscar's face but he could never have predicted how things would turn out next.

"You…. You've been spying on me?" Asked Lucius in disbelief

"Yes…I have bu-"

But before Oscar could finish his sentence Lucius grabbed him by the throat as a pair of bloody dragon eyes glared at him.

"How much? How much do you know"

With each second that passed Lucius's grip around Oscar's neck tightened as if physically counting down the time he had left to answer his answer.

"G-gang… I know you're part of a gang.."

Hearing this Lucius internally breathed a sigh of relief.

For a second he thought his darkest secret was out in the air but now he knew that wasn't the case he could relax a little.

But even though he knew his deepest secret was still kept Lucius couldn't feel complexity at ease. The feeling of being spied on left him deeply disgusted.

Especially with the fact that he had a secret that must be kept at all costs

"Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't deal with you right now?"

"We're in the middle of Sanctuary, there's no way you could do anything. Doing something right now is nothing short of lunacy. I'm sure a smart man like you would know that."

Hearing this Lucius just smiled.

"You're right about that, but look at me. What part of me says I wouldn't do anything crazy!"
