Liberia is a poor country in West Africa bordering Guinea.

The biggest goal of knowledgeable people in the country is to "immigrate to France" and become a European.

This country once experienced a very brutal African tyrant-Samuel Kanyon Doe.

Doe was born in a rural tribe in the interior of Liberia. The Klan is the largest indigenous ethnic group in Liberia and still occupies a minority in terms of population. Together with other local ethnic groups, they were ruled by Americo-Liberians in the past.

Americo-Liberians are black people from America. They returned to Africa and established Liberia in 1847. The 20 presidents after that were all Americo-Liberians.

The so-called Americo-Liberians are actually black people who were driven out of the country by the United States at that time.

At that time, the United States had already started the industrial revolution, and the abolition movement was in full swing in the United States. After the plantations were abolished, the lives of black people did not become better.

Yes, they gained so-called freedom, but they were unable to live in this country. At that time, nearly 200,000 blacks could not find suitable jobs and became a factor of social instability.

These blacks who were forced to "idle" were discriminated against in the American society at that time.

They were called "black plague" and "black bedbugs" by white people.

Under such circumstances, the antagonism between blacks and whites began to intensify, and social security in the United States was also greatly affected.

So 27, someone 27 proposed a solution, which was to send these blacks back to their hometown - Africa.

Soon, this proposal was passed, and most of these blacks were sent back to Liberia.

Interestingly, these blacks had a bad life in America and lived at the bottom of society, but after arriving in Liberia, they showed a strong sense of superiority and called themselves "Americo-Liberians".

This group of people who had been discriminated against also brought racial discrimination to the African continent and looked down on the local blacks in Liberia.

At the same time, they were brainwashed by the so-called "freedom" and "human rights" ideas of the United States.

So in July 1847, the Liberian Federal Government was established and declared the founding of the country, and imitated the United States to issue its own "Declaration of Independence". From then on, the country of Liberia was born.

The Liberians repatriated from the United States huddled together for warmth and gradually became a famous local family. These people hold the lifeblood of the country.

The scene that once took place in the United States was re-enacted here.

However, the protagonists were replaced by American-Liberian blacks and local blacks.

The former believed that they had noble blood, and the latter had been working hard to gain more rights and interests. The struggle between different forces has been accompanied by Liberia's more than 100 years of founding history. The most famous regime change was the "rice incident".

On April 14, 1979, LiberiaIn 1980, the "rice incident" occurred in Liberia. The opposition party demonstrated in the capital Monrovia to protest against the increase in rice prices by the government of President William Richard Tolbert.

The authorities dispatched military and police to suppress the protests, killing and injuring more than 500 demonstrators.

Since then, protests and strikes have occurred one after another across the country.

In March 1980, the mass movement in Monrovia reached a climax again.

The turbulent situation provided a good opportunity for Doe's rise.

In the late night of April 12, 1980, Doe led a dozen people in National Guard uniforms and sneaked into the Liberian Presidential Palace.

After a "fierce" gun battle, Doe rushed into the president's bedroom. Before President Tolbert could speak, he was killed by Doe's submachine gun.

In the early morning, Doe commanded the coup troops to occupy the presidential palace, and then announced the success of the coup on the radio.

Americo-Iberians have ruled the country for more than 100 years. No one would have thought that a local indigenous black man from a poor family with no background would succeed in seizing power with dozens of soldiers.

After the coup, Doe obtained the position of general and established the People's Redemption Committee (PRC) composed of himself and 14 other low-level officials, and began his dictatorship.

The early stage of the regime aimed to overthrow the old Liberian government and eliminate the staff of former President Tolbert one by one.

At the same time, Doe also ordered the release of about 50 opposition leaders, most of whom were leaders of opposition parties who were imprisoned for opposing the True Glory Party.

After that, Doe arrested 91 former government officials.

I don't know if it was to retaliate for the discrimination he had suffered in the past.

After Doe took power in Liberia, he did not think about how to build the country better, but rather carried out a large-scale liquidation of former government officials and those who had discriminated against him.

Within a few days, 11 former members of Talbot's cabinet, including his brother Frank, were charged with crimes such as "treason, rampant corruption and serious human rights violations".

Immediately afterwards, Doe suspended the constitution and set up a separate committee to investigate and punish the old government officials. Because the defendant jury refused to attend due to secret threats, these officials were sentenced to death without exception.

Doe's methods were so cruel that they were outrageous, and his methods of punishing these officials were also very inhumane.

It is reported that he ordered people to strip these officials of their clothes and tie them naked to wooden stakes on the beach.

The poor officials shivered in the sea breeze, and some of them froze to death. This kind of behavior of venting personal anger is despised even in Africa, where culture and economy are relatively backward, and can even be said to be a regression of human society.

From this, we can see that Doe is not only uneducated, but also has no legal concept. He gives people the impression of a nouveau riche who thinks "this country belongs to me, I can do whatever I want."

In addition, Doe's cruelty is also reflected in his treatment ofCompared with the teammates of the coup, these people can be regarded as the great contributors of the Doe government.

What awaits them is not high positions and generous salaries, but various unfounded charges, which truly interprets what "the cunning rabbit dies and the running dog is cooked".

In the end, some of these people were arrested and some were killed. Doe's behavior showed his ingratitude and ungratefulness to the fullest.

The new ruler of Liberia seems to have great malice towards everyone.

Once, the editor-in-chief of the news department of the Liberian National Television went to the presidential palace for an interview. It happened that Doe was in a bad mood that day. Before the other party had time to ask questions, Doe waved his hand and ordered people to drag the editor-in-chief down and beat him to death.

After a purge, the forces opposing Doe in Liberia no longer posed a threat to him, and the former dragon slayer completely turned into a dragon that did all kinds of evil.

In 1985, Doe announced that he would hold a presidential election the following year. In January 1986, he was successfully elected president. With absolute power, Doe began to amass wealth for himself, and countless people suffered greatly.

In ten years, he had at least $200 million in deposits overseas, not counting the deposits of his family members, and Liberia's annual GDP was only $850 million.

It is no exaggeration to say that Liberia is a country that feeds the entire Doe family.

As time went on, the Liberian people became increasingly dissatisfied with Doe.

During his 10 years in power, Doe experienced 36 coups of varying sizes, and suppressed anyone he considered to be his political enemy.

In 1990, his doomsday finally came.

In December 1989, Charles Taylor, Doe's former deputy minister of information, who was once Doe's friend, rose up and swept through the country. More than half of the towns were controlled by Taylor's anti-government forces.

In order to prevent the war in Liberia from spreading to neighboring countries, Nigeria, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Libya and other countries sent multinational peacekeeping forces to Liberia to mediate.

On September 9, 1990, a soldier named Prince Johnson led the army in the rebel army and took the lead in attacking the capital Monrovia, and Doe was arrested.

Prince Johnson asked his 097 men to abuse him in the 097th camp.

Jensen decided, "Strip him naked, just like he treated others before!"

Doe sat naked on the ground, with blood still flowing from his legs.

The trial began.

Jensen pointed at Doe and asked, "Doe, you were corrupt and killed innocent people during your time in office. Do you know your crime?"

Doe said nothing. He knew his fate and it was useless to talk.

Seeing that Doe didn't say anything, Johnson got angry and said, "Okay, since you don't say anything, come and chop off one of his fingers."

With a scream, Doe's left index finger was chopped off.

Jensen started to interrogate again, and Doe still didn't say a word.

Another finger was chopped off.

After chopping and chopping, Doe's ten fingers were all chopped off, and he fainted several times from the pain.

However, Johnson did not forgive him.

He also ordered people to cut off Doe's ears.

At this time, Doe was simply a bloody man.

However, he still did not say a word, and Johnson was even more furious when he saw him like this.

Jensen took out his last trick and cut off Doe's vital organs.

The rebels put the former president, who was only left with his last breath, on a single bed and displayed it like an exhibit for all the people to visit.

In this way, Doe was cruelly tortured to death.

The next day, Doe died completely. Upon hearing the news, the people of Liberia cheered and celebrated that the tyrant finally received the punishment he deserved. It took less than ten years for Doe to go from glory to fall from the altar.

Then his body was cut open and his meat was shared by the people of Liberia.

The scene of his ear being cut off was also recorded by a camera and spread all over the world.

The video shows that Prince Johnson was watching all this while drinking a bottle of Budweiser beer.
