Lu Feng and Lu Han went to Lu Feng's room.

"How many days are you here?" Lu Han asked, sitting on the couch.

Lu Feng threw the suit jacket on the chair and sat on the couch, next to his elder brother, leaning back lazily, "Just like you, will keep going forth and back," Lu Feng replied.

"You seem tired. How's everything going?" Lu Han asked.

"Nothing unusual," Lu Feng replied.

"About Mr. Park and …."

"Everything is fine," Lu Feng replied, interrupting his brother.

Lu Han understood his brother didn't wish to talk and said, "I just wish you to be happy."

"I'm fine," Lu Feng closed his eyes, "I'm sure elder brother is here to talk about something else."

Lu Han nodded, "About Lian."

"Are you worried about her working with Ming Rusheng?" Lu Feng asked as he looked at his elder brother.

Lu Han nodded again, "I'm sure it's not just a coincidence that she is working there."

"Other than coincidence, it's our grandpa and his grandpa," Lu Feng replied.

"You mean they are planning to get the two married?" Lu Han asked.

"What other reason can there be," Lu Feng confirmed.

"But you know in the past he…"

"We all have made mistakes, so we can forgive him. He is not the same person as before," Lu Feng informed.

Lu Han agreed with it, "I saw it too. He is changed, but if Lian knows what he did, then?"

"It's not a big deal. In business, things like this are bound to happen. As long as they are good for each other, nothing matters," Lu Feng added.

"So you approved of it?" Lu Han asked.

"If not, then I wouldn't have allowed her to even step into Ming industries," Lu Feng replied.

"I trust your judgment, so I won't worry," said Lu Han as he lowered his voice, "Anyways, I don't have the right to judge him as I'm no different from him."

"It's all in the past, brother," Lu Feng commented and stared at his brother, who still looked guilty, "Until when are you going to punish yourself?"

"I'm doing fine," Lu Han spoke.

"I'm sure till now Yuyan must have forgiven you."

"I know, but it's not about her but about my brother who loved me, and I betrayed him."

"He would never have thought wrong about you."

"Hmm, we had one great brother," Lu Han commented.

Before Lu Feng could talk further about it, Lu Han asked, "Until when are you going to be like this?"

Lu Feng looked at his elder brother questioningly.

Lu Han spoke, "I'm talking about you having a family."

"I have you all," Lu Feng replied.

"But don't you think there is a space for one person, and you should fill it soon when there is someone you already like."

"It's not like that," Lu Feng countered.

"You can fool others but not your brother," Lu Han argued.

"I need to freshen up. I'm tired," Lu Feng stood up from the couch and went to the bathroom.

Lu Han smiled lightly as he stepped to go out of the room and mumbled, "He still doesn't know how to lie."

The next day...

Lu Lian didn't go to work as she had to take one week's leave as per her brother's instruction. Also, her condition worsened, so she couldn't think about going to work.

Ming Rusheng came to the office, and Lu Lian's assistant informed him about her one-week leave. He was relieved that she finally decided to rest.

The entire day Ming Rusheng felt like something was missing. He thought to ask how she was doing but couldn't do it so.

'Why would I care when she is home,' he thought and tried to brush off the thoughts about her.

The day passed by, and when he went home, Elder Ming was in the garden, talking to someone on the phone.

Good evening, grandpa," Ming Rusheng greeted.

Elder Ming hung up the call and asked, "I got to know Lu Lian is not well."

"Hmm," Ming Rusheng nodded.

"What happened," elder Ming asked.

"Nothing serious. She would be fine. I need to freshen up," Ming Rusheng left before elder Ming could ask him further.

"What's with him," elder Ming mumbled and dialed one number.

The moment the person received the call, the elder Ming spoke, "Jia Wong, didn't you say they were good together?"

"Yes, but you hung up the call even before you could hear me, you impatient old man," the person from the other side of the line, Mr. Wong, spoke.

"Tell me now," Elder Ming instructed.

"I don't know what exactly, but it seems like something was wrong with your grandson that he left the poor girl behind," Mr. Wong answered.

"My grandson was not like that. It's all your effect, you stubborn man," elder Ming countered.

"Your genes are so strong to make him stubborn. If he had my effect on him, he would have been married to her till now," Mr. Wong countered back.

The argument continued for some time, and finally, both turned tired.

"What should we do now?" Elder Ming asked.

"Ask him if he likes her or not. If he says no, find another man for her, and he will get back to his senses," Mr. Wong suggested.

"Do you think so?" Elder Ming asked.

"He is just like you, and I know what will work on you," Mr. Wong spoke and sighed, "Why do I have to deal with your copy when I had enough of you."

Elder Ming laughed, "Don't worry. You have to keep dealing with me till the end of our lives."

----

Two days passed by, but Ming Rusheng didn't get any update about Lu Lian other than what her assistant said that Ms. Lu was getting better.

He wanted to know how exactly she was doing and at least see her once, but there was no reason that he could visit Lu Mansion.

----

The next day was Saturday, and Ming Rusheng was home.

At early noon, Elder Ming was ready to go out.

"Where is father heading to?" Ming Yusheng, elder Ming's son, asked.

"Lu Mansion," elder Ming replied as his sight crossed across Ming Rusheng, who sat quietly, but his eyes brightened up when he heard Lu Mansion.

"To see, uncle Lu?" Yusheng asked again.

"Lu Lian is not well, so I thought to visit her. After all, she works in our company and fell sick while working outside for the project," elder Ming replied.

Ming Yusheng agreed to it, "Let me come with you too."

"I planned to take Rusheng with me, but it's fine. Let's go."

Hearing it, Ming Rusheng looked at his grandpa, and the elder Ming spoke, "I know you must want to rest at home, so I won't trouble you."

Ming Rusheng sighed as he wished to go, but his grandpa cut him off.

"What rest, father?" Ming Yusheng spoke, "Lu Lian works with him, so he should be the one to go there first."

"Is it?" Elder Ming asked nonchalantly, and Ming Yusheng nodded, "Yes, father."

Elder Ming looked at Ming Rusheng, but before elder Ming could say a word, Ming Rusheng stood up, "I'll wait for you two outside," and stepped out.

A light smile painted on elder Ming's lips, 'Sometimes he is so easy to trick.'
