Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan stood in the rain for a long time until Jiang Yuyan stopped crying. He couldn't stop her from letting her pain out and neither let her go out of his embrace as his tall body tried to protect her from not getting the impact of the continuously falling raindrops. His one hand, which caressed the back of her head to console her, stopped at the top of her head as she buried her face in his chest while sobbing continuously.

Once in a while, any car passed by them, but it didn't bother them. San Zemin and his men stood there, feeling bad for their boss.

When Jiang Yuyan stopped crying, Lu Lijun finally let her go and looked at her as his fingers moved away the wet hair strands stuck to her cheeks. She looked at him in a daze as her head felt heavy because of crying and cold from the rain. She let him do it and felt sleepy.

"Do you want to return home?" he asked softly.

Jiang Yuyan nodded like a lost child who didn't know what she should do.

Lu Lijun surrounded his hands to her shoulder and guided her towards his car as they walked at her slow pace.

Seeing his boss had finally stopped crying, San Zemin got the umbrella from the car and hurried towards his boss as he held the umbrella for Jiang Yuyan and Lu Lijun.

Lu Lijun took her towards his car and made her sit on the front passenger seat as San Zemin kept holding an umbrella.

Lu Lijun went to sit in the driver seat, and San Zemin went to his car as he instructed one of his men to get Jiang Yuyan's car back to the mansion.

Before driving away, Lu Lijun put on the seatbelt for Jiang Yuyan and set the car's temperature to a warmer one so she wouldn't feel cold. He had the spare jacket kept on the back passenger seat. He picked it up and covered Jiang Yuyan with it.

When Lu Lijun was doing everything, she didn't look aware of it as her heavy eyes only stared at the road ahead, at the place of the accident. Lu Lijun noticed it and hurried to turn the car so they could go away from that place, and she would stop looking at it.

On the way back, San Zemin dialed a contact number on his cell phone.

"How is she?" the person on the other side of the line asked.

"Seems fine now. Fourth young master took her with him," San Zemin replied.

"Hmm."

"Why didn't you follow her like other times?" San Zemin asked.

"Lu Lijun can take better care of her. When he is there, we don't have to worry."

"Still, he worries me."

"You can trust him as much as you trusted Lu Qiang."

"As you say."

The man sighed over San Zemin's uncertain reply. "I know my brother better than anyone. It would be best if you start to trust him now."

"I trust your words, so I will try," San Zemin replied.

The call was cut, and San Zemin continued to look at the car moving ahead of them.

"What did Mr. Lu Feng said?" The driver, who always drove Jiang Yuyan's car, asked.

"He told me to trust our fourth young master," San Zemin replied.

"I don't know much about him, but I can see the fourth young master cares for boss just like the previous boss did. He fights with her, but when something happens to her, he is the most panicked person as if the entire world has collapsed," said the driver.

San Zemin didn't comment anything and continued to sit quietly as he was busy in his thoughts.

On the way back till they reached Lu mansion, Lu Lijun couldn't help but continued to look at Jiang Yuyan worriedly in between driving.

Her face was moved towards the window side, and he couldn't see her. Neither could talk to her to assure she was fine nor ask her to look at him. She was calm, and he didn't wish to break that calmness.

When they reached Lu Mansion, he stepped out of the car and opened the front passenger seat door only to see Jiang Yuyan sleeping. It worried him to think whether she was sleeping or went unconscious.

Lu Lijun looked at the butler who came there. "Call the doctor."

The butler followed the instruction while Lu Lijun lifted Jiang Yuyan in his arms to take her inside.

Lu Feng was in his room's gallery when he saw Lu Lijun's car entering the mansion but didn't come downstairs as he knew Lu Lijun would take care of her and he should not worry about Jiang Yuyan.

Lu Lijun took Jiang Yuyan to her room as he lay her on the bed.

--------

The next morning, Jiang Yuyan woke with a mild headache. She opened her eyes, but her vision was blurry as she had a slight fever the previous night.

She sensed someone's presence in the room and moved her sight only to see someone standing near the wardrobe. She rubbed her eyes to clear her blurry vision and saw the familiar figure whose back faced her.

The man wore the same winter coat she bought for Lu Qiang in the past, and to date, it was hung inside the same side of the wardrobe, which had the glass door. Every day she used to see that coat hung there but finally, it was out, and he wore it.

A wide smile painted on her lips, realizing who it was. Not waiting for a moment, she got out of the bed, not caring about her spinning head, and blurry vision, and back hugged the man.

"Lu Qiang. Where were you?" A joyful voice came. "How much I missed you."

He gulped in shock, getting a back hug from her and couldn't move. When she released her strong grip around him, he turned slowly only to cause the smile on her lips to disappear and to turn her happily brightened eyes to the shocked ones.

"L-Lu Lijun?" Jiang Yuyan exclaimed in a weak voice as she took a step back to move away from him.
