When Alister heard Yun Ren's question, he playfully placed his hand on his chin and acted childishly. As if he was deep in thought, he answered, "You are the one who forced me to sacrifice my girlfriend just to defeat you."

"If not for you, my girlfriend wouldn't have died in the previous timeline. So tell me, how do you think should I deal with you?"

"Torture you? Humiliate you? Even killing you would be a waste as it wouldn't satiate my hunger for vengeance."

After posing those questions to Yun Ren, Alister floated in the air and went above Yun Ren, placing his foot on Yun Ren's head. Afterward, he stepped on Yun Ren's head, slamming Yun Ren's head to the table.

Yun Ren grunted in pain as he felt Alister further stomp on his head. He felt that if Alister went any further, his skull would crack.

"You are nothing but a bug that I can squash with my shoes. However, you should be lucky that your life is much more valuable than your corpse."

Alister mocked Yun Ren further.

No longer stepping on Yun Ren's head, Alister pulled Yun Ren's hair and tightly clutched Yun Ren's head.

Levitating in the air, Alister held Yun Ren's head tightly by his right hand. Yun Ren's body dangled in the air, his feet grasping for the ground.

It would be a lie if Alister didn't hold any grudge against Yun Ren.

After all, if not for Yun Ren, he could have completed his simulation without having to sacrifice Lynn.

He wasn't like those idiots who would make a truce with his opponents after defeating them. Moreover, if he was defeated by his opponents, would his opponent be merciful to him?

It was the reason why Alister could live long in this world. He wasn't naive enough to forgive his enemies especially those who had killed his loved ones.

While Alister was playfully making Yun Ren suffer, Alister glanced at Lynn who was sitting on her chair, "Do you want to join? After all, he is the one who forced you to sacrifice yourself."

In response, Lynn shook her head, "No need. You are already exacting vengeance on behalf of me and that is already enough. And, didn't you plan to make him your subordinate? It will be considered his punishment as he served you like a mere puppet who only listens to your order."

"Better yet, you can make him work for you like a slave while retaining his consciousness. Wouldn't it be better if he worked for you as you wring out every use that he has against his will?"

Hearing Lynn's words, Alister nodded, "Mhmm, indeed."

Tightly clenching Yun Ren's head, Alister's viral energy and a few zombie viruses invaded Yun Ren, transforming Yun Ren into a human awakener. Yun Ren became an A-rank Late Stage human awakener.

With Alister's extreme control over his viral energy and zombie virus, he could easily make his subordinates either become a zombie or human awakener, depending on his needs.

Since Yun Ren was too weak, Alister gave Yun Ren power so that Yun Ren could be of much better use to him. But that wasn't without any restrictions.

Alister planted a mind bug on Yun Ren's mind. Unlike a mind parasite that has delayed mind control, a mind bug works by preventing someone from betraying him but still allowing them to retain their consciousness.

Those planted with a mind bug won't show loyalty. But if they even just have a slight intention of betrayal or harm to Alister, they would suffer from extreme pain.

It was like the slave collar that was available in Alister's world. The slave could retain their consciousness and personality and their loyalty wouldn't be distorted to listen to their master, but any thoughts of disobedience and betrayal would cause the collar on their neck to let them suffer from agonizing pain.

'With the mind bug, Yun Ren will have no choice but to become my subordinate against his will. He can't even commit suicide as the mind bug will prevent him from doing that.'

'If he dared to disobey my orders and have any intention of betraying me, he will be tortured by my mind bug!'

After planting the mind bug in Yun Ren, Alister threw Yun Ren back into his chair.

"You are now my slave. I don't want you to die that easily so better make use of the power that I have given you. Only when you are alive, that you are of use to me."

Alister gazed at Yun Ren from above as he sat in the air.

But contrary to his expectations of Yun Ren's rebellion, Yun Ren seemed to be intoxicated with the power that he had given to him.

Not that Alister blamed him. After all, compared to Yun Ren in the future who had seen what the world could offer, Yun Ren in this age was still wet behind the ears.
