After the night had passed, the day arrived and Alister woke up.

It was now the second day after he and the nine heroes were summoned to Fantasia as heroes, tasked with eliminating the Demon King of Pride.

'Now that I have befriended the Toshokan Hondana, I'll prevent his death and figure out how he had died in the previous simulations. There should be a high possibility that he had died at Broken Sanctuary, the second most dangerous forbidden zone in Fantasia.'

'However, there are still several years until Toshokan Hondana rebels and leaves Henea Kingdom so I still have time to figure out his demise in the previous simulations. However, there is also the possibility that he wouldn't rebel if I prevented Hondana from confessing his love to Filia.'

As soon as Alister woke up, he started thinking about the first friend he made in this timeline.

Alister valued his friends and family and although he had only befriended Toshokan Hondana, he still cared for him since Alister believed that Hondana wouldn't betray him.

As a powerful demigod, Toshokan Hondana couldn't hide his true intentions from Alister. Because of that, Alister could see through Toshokan Hondana's nature and he knew that Hondana was worthy of becoming his friend.

Furthermore, Alister still has the All-Seeing Heavenly Eyes so as long as he wanted to, he could see through the true intentions of others and he would know if someone was plotting against him.

From what he could see, Hondana truly regarded him as a friend, and with Hondana's personality, Hondana would likely sacrifice himself just to save his friend so it was unlikely for him to betray Alister.

'This kingdom doesn't have much value to me so if ever they wronged either Hondana or me, it's not like I can't raze this kingdom to the ground. I can easily nuke this kingdom filled with slavery with just a simple meteor spell.'

'Not only are the Pope and King rotten, but those two princesses are also bitches. If not for those two princesses, Toshokan Hondana wouldn't have been wronged by them and the hero party's relationship with each other wouldn't be chaotic.'

'Ah, never mind. I forgot that Takahashi Ken is also one of the main reasons why the hero party is chaotic. He is in my must-kill list.'

After he remembered the Sword Hero, Alister decided to not make a move since the Sword Hero hadn't offended him yet in this simulation.

Furthermore, keeping the Sword Hero alive wouldn't affect Alister much since he could also use the Sword Hero as the puppet leader of the hero party. Even if the Sword Hero was given a hundred years, the Sword Hero would never surpass Alister's power so Alister wasn't worried.

It would be a joke if the Sword Hero could surpass Alister since even Zanna who had lived for hundreds of years couldn't do that. Even if the Sword Hero was given a million years, he wouldn't be able to surpass Alister since the path to godhood in Fantasia was blocked.

After Alister got out of bed, he used 1st-circle magic such as water bath and dry to clean himself. He wasn't worried about attracting the suspicion of the King and the Pope since his identity as the Chaos Hero was already a good alibi for his magic mastery.

The Chaos Hero was well-known for being able to use all elemental magic proficiently, even including null magic.

When it came to magic, the best among the heroes was originally the Book Hero. But with Alister's appearance, Alister's Chaos Hero class was the best when it came to magic and almost everything.

The Pope and King already knew about the abilities of the hero classes including the Chaos Hero. The Chaos Hero was already listed as the most powerful hero class since the heroes who had this class were all jack of all trades, master of all.

So even if Alister showed better swordsmanship than the Sword Hero and better cooking than the Food Hero, only the heroes would be surprised at it but not the King and the Pope.

After Alister cleaned himself using water and null magic, he left his room and headed to the training ground.

The priests who had brought the heroes to their room yesterday had already informed all heroes that breakfast would be delivered in the training ground. It was to ensure that all heroes would participate in the training and Alister didn't care much about the Pope's intentions for that.

When Alister arrived at the training ground, he noticed that eight heroes had already arrived and the only one who hadn't arrived yet was the Curse Hero.

Aside from the heroes, the human general Brandyn Hedleye was also present on the training ground.

The nine heroes couldn't tell how powerful Brandyn was but Alister could see that Brandyn was just a mere Master Warrior.

In the Transcendent World, a Master Warrior was just the equivalent of a Transcendent Overlord. It was a mere weakling in Alister's eyes but since he wanted to experience what it was like to participate in a hero summoning, he didn't mind it.

When Alister arrived at the training ground, Toshokan Hondana enthusiastically waved at Alister.

In response, Alister waved his hand and headed to Toshokan Hondana. Toshokan Hondana has short brown hair and brown eyes and he was wearing the clothes of this world.

However, unlike Toshokan Hondana, Alister didn't change his modern clothing yet since he cleaned it with his null magic.

"Have you learned any magic spells yet?"

While waiting for the Curse Hero's arrival, Alister asked Toshokan Hondana to pass the time.

In response to Alister's question, Toshokan Hondana shook his head, "Not yet. Although I feel like I can learn any magic spells as long as I have the knowledge of it, I still haven't obtained access to the royal library."

"From what I could instinctively know, the Book Hero class is quite weak at the start since I have to build up my foundation of knowledge before I could utilize it against my opponents."
