Nia swing both her swords to the side and used the momentum created by the swing to dodge the ball of energy. Behind Nia, Adrian and Sirius looked in front and saw the ball heading at them.

Sirius raised his spear and plunged it into the ground. His eyes friend dark as shadows covered the whole area.

[Shadow Wolves:- Arise],

He spoke as the shadows wriggled and the surrounding shadows were trend into various wolves that jumped out of them. The wolves howled in the air and rushed at the ball of energy.

Adrian on the other hand knelt down and touched the ground. His eyes also took a black gleam as he used his mana to control the overall light in the area.

Adrian had a darkness oriented ability but it was more based upon controlling light and using it, "Light and Darkness are the two sides of the same coin," He muttered and the darkness around him converged as a dense fog was created.

It was Adrian's spell that not only worked as a defense but also as a trap. It decreased the speed of the incoming projectile while the darkness made it hard for anyone to pinpoint at the target.

"Booommm…" The wolves ran into the ball of energy as it exploded the moment it came in contact with the wolves. A greyish wave of energy was released as Sirius and Adrian felt alarming bells sound in their heads.

Trusting their perception and rock solid battle experience, they dodged the wave of energy.

Looking back, Sirius and Adrian found the whole place turned to stone while even the shadows wolves were trapped. It seemed that the mysterious shadows was also not spared.

"That's a petrification spell," Muttered Sirius as he used the telepathic bond between all the team members and informed everyone.

Ray listened to the information he provided and nodded. He raised his sword and applied some pressure with both of his hands as his sword clicked and separated into two.

The huge bastard sword had taken the shape of two short swords that had various jagged edges on them. The edges glowed a brain blue light as electrical arcs covered them.

Ray stood on the ground as he bent his legs slightly. He angled himself in a way that the swords almost touched the ground. He looked at the Troll and smiled, "Here I come you bastard,"

The troll was still focused on the Nia and kept throwing balls of energy. It's body was transforming at a rather mediocre rate as strange blueish veins kept on appearing over it's body.

The veins pulsed slightly and released a blueish hue. The troll roared in the air as it raised its hand. A scepter appeared in it's hands as it had the same blueish hue on it.

Nia raised her swords in the air and swung them in the air. A yellowish arc was released from them as it spun around the swords and revolved around Nia.

Nia swung again and again as the arcs increased and kept on revolving around her. This was an improvisation she tried just now and it was to protect her.

[Revolving Arcs Of light],

A new spell was created as she pushed her feet against the feet and jumped high in the air. She kicked the air once again and jumped higher.

From above the ground, she looked down at the troll and aimed at the hand holding the scepter. From far away, she could see a strange energy flowing from the scepter and into the troll's body. It was the same hue as the veins that covered it and from what she could feel, the scepter was giving the troll a huge boost.

Ray also understood this. He looked at Nia and nodded at her. Raising his swords high, he kicked the ground as dust was raised. Turning into a blur, Ray appeared right in front of the troll.

His sword was slashing in a slanted arc as he aimed for the troll's feet while Nia aimed for it's hand holding the scepter. However, that was not it.

From behind, Adrian and Sirius also approached. The spear in Sirius's hand whizzed as the reddish lines over it spread even more. They spread to Sirius's hand as he felt a strange energy flowing into his body.

As the energy flowed, Sirius felt his powers better. He felt a deeper connection with the shadows around him and even more, the darkness that formed them.

He raised the spear as it cut the through the space in front of him and a strange shadow emerged from it. The shadow was that of a wolf and if looked closely, it deeply resembled Sirius.

The shadow stepped out of the space and stood besides Sirius. It also had the same spear as Sirius and even thought for it's own. Also, Sirius felt a connection to the shadow that he could control the shadow and give it orders. That he could make the shadow do things he wants to and the shadow would follow his orders but still retain a semblance of thought.

Adrian looked at it in astonishment but didn't think much. He knew that Sirius was strong and had various tricks up his sleeves. Adrian raised his hands and called upon his powers as the light was absorbed into his body. It turned to darkness and bent inwards as the space was distorted.

A dark gleam covered his body as Adrian's eyes turned pitch black. His aura increased as he put a heavy pressure on his surroundings. He turned and glanced at Sirius as both of them nodded and vanished.

The ground was kicked as dust and debris was shot in the air. Adrian had a surge of energy surrounding him as he kicked right at the troll's torso.

Sirius on the other hand used his spear and jumped high in the air. Along with his shadow clone, Sirius easily reached the troll's shoulder and slashed at him.

"Skreeee," The troll suddenly roared as it felt danger approaching. Just as the attacks connected, the troll best is chest and raised the scepter. A strange breeze blew in the air as the current that had formed turned into a moisture.

The moisture condensed even further as a huge wave of water was formed. The troll pointed its scepter in the air as the wave of water turned into a water fall and fell down.

Ray and the rest raised their heads as they saw the waterfall approaching them fast. Having no time to dodge, Ray was about to divert his attack when a voice sounded in everyone's telepathic link.

"Don't worry. We have got it," It was Kashish and Elina as they both had finally created their defense.

Right after the voice was heard, vines grew from the ground as they stretched out in the air. They circled around the troll and piled up one after another and then suddenly shot up in the sky.

Creating a safe barrier for everyone, the vines absorbed the water fall and turned turgid. It caused the troll to halt momentarily as it didn't have much space to move.

"My turn now," Elina's voice sounded again as she appeared high in the air. She seemed to be floating in the air as the cat on her shoulder had a reddish light glowing all over it.

She raised her hands and twirled her fingers as if controlling a puppet and suddenly, reddish strings appeared in the air as they wound around the troll and constricted it completely.

Elina's eyes turned dark as curses floated in the air. She looked down at the troll as the curses travelled from her body and through the strings as they hit the troll.

Being hit by the curses, the troll's body turned dull. The veins on it's body seemed to recede as Ray saw this and took his chance.

"Everyone, use your strongest attack. Now!!" He roared as he lifted his swords. His eyes had electrical energy burning in them as the arcs turned even denser.

Ray raised the swords and plunged them into the troll's feet as he released bolts of lightning into the troll. The lightning bolts traveled deep into the troll's flesh as a high pitched scream was released.

"Skreee!!!"

"Nia, Now!!" Screamed Ray as Nia nodded and jumped high in the air. She looked down and bolted right at the troll's heart. Her aim was to use her powers against the troll and take full use of the advantage she had with her light abilities.

[Light Of Judgement:- Sword],

She used her ability as a halo covered her and the swords had two light shadows extending out of them. The lights turned stronger as they pierced through the troll's chest and right into it's heart.

"Skreee!!!" The troll screamed yet again as it finally fell to the ground. Ray didn't stop, he took the opportunity and jumped on the troll. So did Sirius and Adrian as they rushed to it's head.

Sirius and the shadow clone of his raised the spear as an eye was popped. The spear pierced through the eyes as the troll screamed once again.

Adrian punched its head repeatedly as a big dent had formed on it's head while Ray plunged his swords in the other eye. Within minutes, the troll's head had turned to mush as the troll died and light faded from it's eyes.
