UNTAMED: THE ALPHA

Zuri fell to the floor after Hades showed her what would happen if he withdrew the protection that he had created. The devil really knew how to force her to the corner without even trying so hard. He was so patient to find the right moment to appear under the guise he would help with the situation.

"So? Will you accept my offer now?" Hades squatted down in front of Zuri, so their eyes were on the same level. He could see those beautiful eyes and how a few strands of her white hair stuck on her face, she was sweating after the fear that he displayed.

Zuri was having a hard time to breath, the image that Hades showed to her was something that she thought would never happen.

She saw how the dragon burned down the East Draghar, killed million of people, even the heat from that fire was so real, she could feel the heat licked her face.

However, the sight that devastated her the most was the sight when Chaos lost all of his conscience. He turned into someone that she didn't know. He swallowed all of his remaining shattered soul one by one, including Rhea.

Even now, Zuri could hear the heart- wrenching cry from July when she watched Rhea and Knox were being swallowed by Chaos, vanished before her eyes. She cried until her throat became dry, but no amount of tears that could return them back.

And then came the sharp pain when Chaos took his soul from Eros. She could feel how the mate bond snapped and how she was unable to move because of the pain, Zuri felt like someone just ripped her heart opened, but she was not bleeding. The mate bond between them snapped and it left her in agony.

By that time, the dragon had destroyed East Draghar country completely, there was nothing, but fire there, while the monster flew toward the Artzees country and did the same destruction to that country, before it flew toward the West Drgahar country and finally to Fintan island.

There was nothing but fire. People couldn't escape even if they wanted to and Chaos watched everything unfolded, because the dragon was the last of his shattered soul and he let it loose until everything had turned into ashes.

That was no life. There was nothing, but dust.

"So? What will you say, white hair?" Hades grinned. He knew that he had done it beautifully and he had been patient enough to finally sow the result of it.

He had been watching the plan that Aaron had created and how he had cornered Chaos. He managed to put him down and left him with nothing, unable to do anything, as his realm was completely destroyed, and now this was his time to offer his deal again to Zuri.

"How is it?" Hades raised his hand and caressed Zuri's cheek, but she had too much in her mind to even realize what he was doing.

She was still reeling the sight of Chaos, who was staring at her without any emotions. He didn't even recognize her, he didn't even know who she was before he killed her.

That was right. The was the end of all the destruction that Chaos would do in this realm, she didn't know what happened next, because she died, everyone died, all the people that she knew had turned into dust. They were burned completely to the ground.

"What will you say?" Hades moved closer, as he stared at Zuri, but her eyes did not focus, as if she was having a hard time to accept the reality, she was still living in that burning realm, where Chaos killed her without so much as a flinch from him. "Do you agree?"

Still, Zuri was oblivious of what Hades was going to do, she was in so much shocked, her body was slightly trembling.

July had told her that she shouldn't have made any deal with the devil, she knew that was not a wise decision, but then what? What would happen if she couldn't stop Chaos?

It was not only his shattered soul that would die, but he was going to kill all the people in this realm and burned down everything and then what?

What would happen after that? Where was Aaron? Would he smile brightly upon seeing his plan came to fruition? That Chaos finally lived up his name, as the God of the destruction?

"Lovely girl, you don't need to think so hard," Hades whispered, his voice was very seductive, not like his usual carefree self, but he actually looked like a gentleman, so reliable and the only hope that Zuri had. He came closer to her, so close that he could kiss her tender lips, his eyes fixed on hers, but there was no respond from the latter. "Accept me, be my bride and I will help you to fight Aaron. Right now, you have nothing to help you, aside from me and you have nothing to offer, except for yourself."

Zuri pressed her lips into a thin line. She blinked her eyes and gradually, the sight of Hades entered her eyes, she became aware of her surroundings and the proximity between them.

"What do you offer to me?" her eyes were dull and her voice was even. She couldn't care less with their position right now. His hand that cupped her face felt so cold, this was not the hand that used to touch her, neither he was someone that she wanted to be with.

"Be my bride and I will give you power. You can fight Aaron back with that."

Zuri narrowed her eyes when she heard that. "How I know what you showed me is real?"

Hades shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly. "You are allowed to not believe me. You call the shot, Zuri. I am here to remind you about my offer."
