The dragons were smart. Even though they were trying to surround Leon, they weren't moving at their max speed. Leon could tell that they were preparing themselves to react in case Leon uses Transfer, and at the moment he does that, they would attack him with everything they had even if they have to sacrifice one of their kind.

Despite the fact that they belonged to different species, the water and fire dragons at least were smart enough to work together to kill the common enemy. Leon noticed that, and thanks to it, he would never fall for such an obvious trap.

The very moment the dragons opened their mouths to use their breath attacks, Leon used Transfer and appeared several hundred meters above them. The dragons noticed where he was, so they close their mouths and readied themselves to organize their formation again, but Leon didn't let them do that. By creating a massive yet concentrated gravitation field, Leon forced the dragons to still move to the point where he had been previously. Leon was draining a lot of mana from his soul eaters, but he ignored that and massacred them using Plasma Lances alongside Fast Conjuration and Multi Conjuration at their max output.

In mere seconds, ten dragons died and became piles of destroyed flesh. However, since Leon's gravitational field was still working, he managed to teleport all that flesh to the island and made his corrupt mana trees eat them. Before Leon could even think of tasting how delicious dragon's meat was, a group of ten thunder dragons left the ocean from all sides of the island.

"Give me a break..." Leon sighed.

The thunder dragons' scales had a light green glow, and those were also sharper than the fire dragons. Not only that, Leon could actually see some sparks of electricity in those scales. He will probably be electrocuted to them if he touches those monsters. In any case, the status of those creatures didn't change. So, Leon would continue with that strategy... but it was clear like the sky that he eventually would run out of mana.

"Plasma attacks are my most powerful weapons... but It is impossible to decrease my consumption of mana without taking unnecessary risks," Leon said. "I guess it is time to see if I can turn them into zombies or tame them."

Leon had to do those experiments while he has some leeway with mana, so he didn't waste time and killed the dragons as fast as possible without worrying about the stupid amounts of mana he used. As expected, even though he only destroyed their brains, Summon Zombie didn't work... Leon finally reached a point where not even that skill could solve all his problems.

"...I guess I have to test Tame now." Leon clicked his tongue.

A few seconds later, a group of ten ice dragons appeared. Although he didn't want to spend more mana than the necessary, Leon was forced to use Reflect Armor because the ocean froze on the parts those dragons had appeared. Those ice dragons were much different than the thunder dragons. They will turn Leon into ice cream if he gets careless. Once again, Leon killed nine dragons in the blink of an eye, and the last one he tried to turn into his pet, but the skill failed even though a stupid amount of mana had been used.

"Isn't my intelligence high enough? Or is my control low?" Leon asked himself.

Both were pretty high, but not high enough to Tame dragons. Most likely, since the dragons had a lot more control than Leon, he couldn't Tame them. That problem would eventually be solved if Leon allocate all his status points to control, but that was only a temporary solution. Leon was pretty sure that he would only be able to control a single dragon at a time if he was really correct about control.

"Such troublesome monsters..." Leon bit his lips in annoyance.

Little by little, the power of Plasma Lance was increasing, but eventually, that growth will stop, and the only way remaining to increase its power would be by increasing his intelligence. However, he wouldn't be able to increase his intelligence without using skills that could level up... it was another perfect vicious cycle.

"I can learn some useful skills from them, but maybe somehow, I can overcome that problem with it..." Leon rubbed his chin. "But wait a minute... why so many types of dragons are appearing? I guess it would be only obvious considering that they had basically the same status... but it still is bizarre."

Regardless, that was a problem Leon would be able to worry about once he has some leisure while dealing with the dragons. The possibility of that ever happening was low, giving that the monsters would grow stronger every single day, but at least Leon didn't have to pay for dreaming about something like that.
