Undying Warlord

650 Light Sword

"Nooo…I..I didn't forget…I swear…."

The Sun God tried to gather the energy to answer Dilan.

However, upon moving too quickly, his body began to revolt. Blood poured out of the deep blade wounds he had sustained and he began to cough up blood as well. His eyes were slowly losing their vigor and he could barely move.

From the moment he landed on the flying island, his life was in Dilan's hands. That was something the Sun God realized bitterly…and he knew that it was his only way to escape alive. His chances to survive were extremely low, but he didn't want to give up, not after everything he had sacrificed to become a Lesser God…all the lives that had been sacrificed…his friends…his family…even his home…everything had been sacrificed for the better.

"If you didn't forget, then I don't have to bother asking any more questions!" Dilan spoke slowly and he made another step closer to the Sun God. He bent down, held the Sun God's head upward with one of his hands, and pulled Oricalm's blade at the Lesser God's neck.

"P..P-Please…h-help me...you need me..:!"

Desperation accompanied the muffled voice of the Sun God. The Lesser God coughed up more blood, which caused his head to jerk forward. Oricalm cut inside the Sun God's neck.

The Sun God's eyes widened in shock and he began to curse in his mind. It was not possible for him to move, not anymore… and he didn't consider the possibility that Dilan would actually kill him.

He thought about it but he had been certain that Dilan would be more focused on the three Gods who pursued him.

It was another matter of whether Dilan was strong enough to injure the three Lesser Gods, let alone force them to flee but that had been the Sun God's hope…his last.

Dilan looked into the Sun God's eyes and he halted in his tracks. At first, he was ready to kill the Sun God at this instance and to take away his things, including the Sun Divinity.

However, after seeing the bright shining ray of light that was mirrored in the eyes of the Sun God, he was forced to change his plan.

"These motherfuckers…" Dilan cursed under his breath as he let go of the Sun God. Oricalm turned into a formless, yet, corporeal state and it changed it shape once again.

A huge silver lance appeared in Dilan's hand as he looked high up in the sky where a humongous white sword formed out of concentrated mana and essence had been formed.

"...why is it necessary to show everyone that the flying islands are not a playing ground for their fucking games?"

Ignoring everything else in his surrounding, Dilan stared at the ginormous sword that levitated hundreds of meters above the flying island. The sword was purely white in color and tens of meters long…and it possessed the necessary power to cut through the flying island because it had been formed inside the Curtain of Invisibility.

Three human-sized existences could be seen levitating above the white sword, but Dilan couldn't make them out. His focus was on the sword and not on the human-like figures.

'Fuck this bullshit…I had enough of you guys…'

Unleashing the full potential of the Perfect Essence Cultivation techniques a powerful suctioning force pulled the essence and mana toward him.

Using his Life force except for a tiny strand of it, Dilan formed the Immortality Aura. Activating his Origin ability with the use of every bit of mana inside his body, followed by the activation of the True Undying Essence, his Life force was replenished in an instant.

What followed was a simple compound of three actions→He used up his Life force to strengthen the Immortality Aura whenever it was used up, he replenished the Mana he had used up using the Bearer of Life trait that converted Life force into mana, and he made use of his mana to summon Destruction Layers around the Oricalm Lance, and a Destruction Domain that shrouded his body like an aura whenever his mana was replenished.

Life force was the most essential product in the repetition of the three actions. His Life force was sacrificed over and over again, causing his entire body to writhe in pain while he was standing next to the Sun God like an indestructible shield.

His eyes never averted from the huge light longsword as he kept sacrificing his life force over and over again. The Oricalm Lance was vibrating violently and Dilan's entire body showed signs of breaking apart, and the cause of all of this was a paper-thin silver layer that shrouded Dilan's body.

The Power of Destruction released the rawest form…a domain, which was supposed to control the surrounding area, was forcefully wrapped around the body of a mortal human being.

It destroyed the youth, killed him from the inside out, killing every single cell inside his body. However, the same youth was just smiling as blood gushed out of his body.

His eyes dyed in silver stared at the huge light longsword as if they were waiting for something, a reaction…just anything.

And that was exactly what Dilan released when the power of his fused attack reached a certain threshold. After his life force was drained more than 40 times in a matter of three seconds, used to enhance the power of the attack he was about to unleash, the white light longsword began to buzz.

It was just for a quarter of a second but Dilan could clearly see that the tip of the longword had vibrated. It was a light vibration, however, that light vibration was more than enough for Dilan's smile to widen brightly as he pulled the lance backward.

He adjusted his position once again, ignoring that his body was torn apart over and over again.

Taking a deep breath, he fused all the powers he had just unleashed within Oriclam and he thrust out…releasing everything through the tip of Oricalm's lance.

What followed after was death, destruction…and terror.
