Undying Warlord

"Blood of a Primordial? What is that?" Lara asked, tilting her head lightly.

Marie looked at Jörg in interest as well. She had no idea what the Blood of a Primordial might be, and the only thing she could gauge was that it was something extremely terrifying.

"The Blood of a Primordial is quite literally what the name suggests. Arnes Cier was granted the chance to fuse with the Blood of a Primordial being," Jörg answered in simple words before he took a deep breath to continue his explanation of the situation.

"Apparently, the President awoke an Origin ability when the Primordial Ascension occurred, and he had an encounter with the descendant of a Primordial race during his Abyss-difficulty advancement mission of the second Tier.

Thus, he is now in possession of the Blood of a Primordial, though only a small amount of it because his body couldn't handle more!"

Jörg spoke about everything as if he was present when the President of Arikan himself had revealed everything to him. Dilan's senses were hyper-aware right now. He heard everything Jörg said and thus he appeared right in front of the old man using [Instant Teleportation].

"How do you know all of that, and do you know more?" Dilan asked, ignoring the tremendous amount of blood that oozed out of his skin and trickled down from his body.

"B-B-Blood…" Lara mumbled in shock, her eyes widening at the thought of Dilan bleeding to death. Dilan noticed his sister's reaction, he sighed once and summoned an Intermediate Water Spirit to shroud his entire body in water.

The water spirit removed the stains and blood from his body and blasted the water far away, leaving behind a drenched, yet, unscathed Dilan behind.

Dilan dried his body using Green Magic and the help of a Basic Fire Spirit.

"Better?" Dilan asked his sister with a cheeky smile on his face. Lara just nodded her head while trying to regulate her breathing.

"Can you look after your sister-in-law?" Dilan asked while turning his attention to Paula. He could tell that Paula was extremely powerful. There were several things he had sensed when fighting Behemoth, including Paula's attempts to heal him from a distance of several kilometers.

Oddly enough, she had succeeded in accelerating his healing from a range of more than five kilometers, which was something she shouldn't actually be capable of, not to the extent Paula healed him!

It hadn't been necessary for Paula to heal him but that was obviously not something the youngest of the Mekaz family knew about. Thus, Dilan was thankful for her support.

He chose to treat her a tad better than the rest of her family because he felt that her personality was much better. It was as simple as that!

"Of course, I will help Lara! She is an important member of our family!" Paula declared as if it was obvious that she would give her best to make sure that Lara would be fine.

Dilan smiled in response to Paula's answer and he sat down on Rory's back.

"Return to the military base. I have collected the Behemoth's corpse, so there is nothing left to do here," He ordered after a moment, patting Rory's back before he turned his attention back to Jörg once again.

The old man had waited for Dilan to finish talking until he sat down again as well. He took a deep breath and stared into Dilan's sky blue that returned an intense gaze.

"I know a lot about your father's situation because we had been in close contact with him until a month or two after he finished his advancement to the second Tier. It was just like that with any other big family of Arikan if you're confused. The President was one of the strongest forces from the beginning of the Primordial Ascension and he is also the reason why we were able to create such a powerful military base," Jörg explained before recalling something that caused Dilan to frown deeply,

"There are many things that may displease you, but your father's actions affect the lives of billions. Killing him might actually result in the death of more people than you might save by taking his life."

Dilan didn't show a change in his expression except for a frown after he heard what Jörg said. He knew that his father didn't really care about the lives of humans from the lower ranks of society. In his eyes, they were just his pawns, his meatshields and disposable.

It might be nice to hear that his father's actions saved the lives of billions, but Dilan knew that his father's priority has never been other humans and it will never be the safeguarding of human lives.

If his actions would kill billions of humans instead of saving them, Arnes Cier would still act in the same way, and that was something Dilan, and his sisters were fully aware of.

"What are you trying to say? That I shouldn't even attempt killing my father?" Dilan responded in a monotonous tone, his expression turning as emotionless as his voice.

Jörg could tell that his next words would determine the future of his family, or possibly even the future path of the entire continent. His heart was thudding wildly and his mind went blank.

"I don't think I can change your decision even if I wanted to, but if possible it would be for the best if the strongest humans were to join hands…." Jörg revealed his honest thoughts, knowing deep down that he was taking a big risk. A chilling cold spread through his entire body and he quickly noticed that the pressure around him began to press down on him.

A crackling sound rang through his ear and Jörg saw bloody red lightning sparkling in Dilan's eye. He gulped nervously and tried to take a deep breath, only to realize that it seemed impossible for him to move his body.

Only his lips could move and he quickly added what he should have said before, "but, of course, I know that this is impossible…"

Dilan glanced back at his sisters when Rory gave him a second mental warning. He retracted his bloodlust and controlled his anger once again.

"Exactly, that won't happen," Dilan spoke shortly before he took a breath to not let anger consume him at once.

"I will fight my father with the intention to rip him into shreds and it is your task to make a bet about who will win. If you want to be on the better side of my father, you should give him a call and warn him about my plan and strength.

If you want to stay on neutral terms and wait until one of us dies at the hand of the other, you can just stay in the military base. However, I will take Lara to Camsun because I am not sure how much destruction the fight with my father will cause. I don't want my sisters to be anywhere near our battle.

If you are willing to bet on my victory, everyone will be allowed to come to Cansum. If I die, you betted on the wrong person though," There was no need for Dilan to hide anything. He was more than willing to speak facts because he knew that the next few hours would fill Arikan with death and destruction.

Dilan wouldn't be able to pay attention to his surroundings when fighting his father, and Arnes Cier couldn't care less about the people around him the moment he would find out that his own blood and flesh were still alive.

"Make your decision, and live with the consequences!"
