"Visit Me?" Brigitta leaned her broomstick against the outside wall and looked up. A wide smile graced the old woman's wrinkled face when she saw Oscar and Lisa walking towards her, "Do you think I'm sick?"

Brigitta spread her arms wide and took Lisa in her embrace. It had been a long time since she had met a sweet woman who could win the heart of her stubborn grandson. The wrinkles on her face became more obvious from her wide smile.

"Lisa, Oscar, why are you guys coming here without telling me first?" Brigitta let go of the embrace and kissed the woman's cheeks. "If you had told me beforehand, I would have already prepared everything! You know, I haven't told my maid to cook your favorite food!"

"Grandma, we haven't seen each other in a long time. So Oscar and I were planning to visit you without telling you first." Lisa replied while giving Oscar a glance.

Brigitta really loves Oscar, the man is her favorite grandson. Back when he was little, Brigitta always took Oscar with her wherever she went. Whether it's to the supermarket, meeting up with friends, or buying flowers. When the old lady found out that Oscar would be moving to Indonesia to continue the family business, her little heart was shattered into pieces!

But nothing can beat her affection for Lisa. As soon as Oscar and Lisa came to visit her, all of her attention fell on Lisa, not on her grandson.

Even though Brigitta was born into a rich family, that doesn't mean she looks down on poor people. She is not like Greta, who wants her children or grandchildren to marry women from rich families. As long as they were happy, Brigitta thought that would be enough.

"Oh, my…! Come on in, it's hot outside!" Brigitta invited while holding Lisa's hand. The old woman took off her gardening hat and placed it on the brown wooden lounge chair.

Oscar was still carrying gifts for Brigitta, while Lisa was still walking ahead of him with the old woman. Since then, the two of them couldn't stop laughing and asking each other how they were. His heart always warms whenever he remembers that Lisa was accepted by Brigitta with wide open arms.

The three of them entered the living room and Brigitta immediately turned on the air conditioner. Before they sat down on the sofa, Lisa took the gift from Oscar's hand and handed it to the old woman.

"Grandma, here is a present from Oscar and I. But Grandma must be honest whether you like the gift or not!"

Brigitta took the gift wrapped in the light brown paper bag, smiled, and placed it on the table. "It's enough for you to come here to visit me, I'm already happy. But receiving a gift from you guys? Ah, I'll definitely like it!"

"Grandma, you haven't seen the gift inside though..." Lisa teased, she couldn't help but laugh. "Open it, I'm curious if you will like our gift."

Hearing that made Brigitta burst out laughing. She kept the gift on the table and didn't look at it at all. According to her, opening the gifts from Oscar and Lisa can still be postponed until later this afternoon. The important thing now was, the lovers were here to visit her.

It just so happened that Brigitta did not bring her glasses, so she wouldn't be able to see clearly.

"Ah, right…" Oscar suddenly muttered. The man sitting on the white sofa had just finished wiping the sweat from his temples with a tissue. "Lisa and I have some happy news we want to share with you, grandma."

"Happy news?" Lisa and Brigitta asked at the same time.

Lisa herself didn't know what Oscar meant. This morning and during the trip, they did not talk about anything related to the happy news they wanted to tell Brigitta. That's why hearing that from Oscar's lips made Lisa wonder.

As surprised as Lisa was, Brigitta felt the same way. The old woman raised her eyebrows and looked at Lisa and Oscar in turn. Then, not long after, Brigitta touched Lisa's palm and said.

"As long as it's good news, I can't wait to hear it. But if you guys are here to tell me bad news, I don't want to hear it!"

By the time Oscar and Lisa divorced, of course Brigitta knew the bad news. She had cursed Oscar over the phone and said that her grandson was the stupidest person she had ever met. But her disappointment did not last long.

The old woman knows that in this world nothing lasts forever, including love.

At first, she tried to accept the fact that she would never be able to see Lisa again. So when she heard the news that Oscar was trying to mend her relationship with Lisa through rumors, or Dani to be exact, the old woman felt like her body was floating high into space!

Who would have thought that the two lovers decided to have a relationship again?

Seeing Lisa's confused look made Oscar smile faintly. The man then looked at Brigitta and said, "Grandma, you have a great-grandson now!"

The man's tone of voice did sound normal, almost flat. But his face looks radiant, and his two clear blue eyes look sparkling.

After hearing Oscar's reply, Lisa just understood.

Having grandchildren as soon as possible obviously was every parents' dream. But not with Greta or perhaps, Peter. However, Oscar wasn't too worried about that because he knew that Brigitta was different from his parents.

Oscar intentionally hid the fact that he had a child with Lisa from his grandmother. He was afraid that the woman would reject his son and say that this was not the right time to have a child.

But now that he had said it, Oscar finally let Brigitta know about William. Of course the man thought that Lisa would be angry and gave him a scathing glare. But as it turned out, the woman just nodded her head and looked at Brigitta with joy in her face.

William is Oscar's flesh and blood, and there's no denying that he is part of the Petersson family. Hiding the boy from his family, especially Brigitta, was not Oscar's wish.. He wants his whole family to know that he already has an adorable child with Lisa.
