This Eroge Won't Make Me Fall!
417 Chapter 413: Final Assignment
Five percent.
The default state I had decided to handle most battles in was the stage zero, the stage where exactly five percent of the strength that I possessed would be released.
Keeping it sealed at all times with my authority was even better, but considering the frequency I would be using it with, the effects from that would be less too.
The hair that had turned black smoothly fell on the back of my head while the now black pupils gazed up at the flying clone that struck the body of Invasion Navy.
Screams left the Invasion Navy in the voice of the ones above. A level of speech incomprehensible by lesser beings.
I pointed my hand at it and muttered.
"s̸̞̓h̷͇͛u̶͓̽t̵̥͊ ̷̺̈́u̵̪̒p̴̟̋ ̷͜͝a̷̹̾n̴͕͐d̷̢́ ̵̨̆c̶͔̕o̶̲͌m̶̞̈́ė̵̝."
The Outer God merged into one. It could finally break free of the chains of 'concept' constricting it and use its abilities to the fullest.
Its mouth tore open from the front of its face as a beam of pure light came hurtling down at once.
I raised my hand back and a fraction of the cataclysm inside surged.
A simple brush of my hands sent a stroke of pure black darkness hurtling straight at the beam of light. Messy, vile, repulsive, like random strokes of a brush the malevolent darkness cut through the beam of energy coming for it, swallowing it up to the last extent.
The Outer God screamed in fear as the strength of its attack grew, but it was useless. The malicious darkness ate everything, ending it all against its will.
I pressed my foot firmly on the ground. And shot off.
Invasion Navy's beam ended with the collapse of my casual swing of some Cataclysm. Before it could breathe a sigh of relief, I was in front of its face.
This thing. I had many things to say, many curses to convey…
But all of that malice had disappeared from my mind, and had turned into something that fueled me instead. The Cataclysm that brought all end.
What was one worthless Outer God or a hundred of them?
I pulled my foot back and stomped it into the Outer God's face.
The Outer God's body crumbled from within as the force of the kick cut a hole through it. Invasion Navy hurtled backward in the air.
What was anything, in front of strength?
I closed my eyes and spread my senses. Just like him, I could sense the entire place easily. The smallest of the Invasion Navy's cells squirmed and merged together as all of its strength compressed into a single being.
A final humanoid form the Invasion Navy had likely never used before. Its strength surged beyond it had ever before and it came rushing at me.
Unfortunately, losing magic and ki meant no more flying for me either.
The Invasion Navy's fists fired off like bullets from a machine gun. I nimbly avoided them all and stomped my foot on its own.
And then, I punched.
—BAM!
This thing.
—BAM!
Was what.
—BAM!
We were afraid of huh?
—BAM!
The Outer God's head went rolling on the ground. I pushed it ahead and let it regenerate before punching it again.
Albert's hand. So many people's lives…
All of them were lost simply because I was weak.
But that wasn't the case anymore. Not anymore.
Was killing it like this the answer?
"GYAAA!"
The Outer God screamed but another punch shut its mouth. I slammed my knee in its plexus and knocked its head off with a slap.
Over and over, the Outer God would regenerate.
And without breaking a sweat, I crushed it.
—BAM!
—BAM!
—BAM!
—BAM!
—BAM!
Shreds flew all around before merging again. The fire in its eyes had started weakening.
I kicked the Outer God's stomach and sent it flying into the air. Before it could shoot off beyond reach, I grabbed its feet and slammed it back down on the ground.
The Outer God broke into shreds again while I dusted my hands.
These beings.
These existences.
The gatekeepers of concepts could not be killed that easily. No.
I had to destroy them thoroughly.
The small light lingering in the Invasion Navy's eyes started flickering away as I continued pummeling it without giving it a chance to stand against me.
It was worse, it was magnitudes worse than the beating Eugene had given it.
Invasion Navy.
The Outer God of Invasion. The one that ruled over such a lofty concept.
Was now faced with something it could never invade. A power so strong and comprehensive that it would never be able to break through.
An insurmountable wall.
The regeneration slowed down and the Invasion Navy's movement became lighter and lighter.
The Invasion Navy knew that any kind of battle now was futile.
With another of my hits, its head blew off.
And the Outer God fell on its back.
I removed the earphones and stopped the song as the Outer God of Invasion slowly started to turn into dust.
A heavy breath left me as I looked up.
That day all those years ago was clear in my mind.
This was by no means a revenge… nor was it the start of a battle. It was training. Pure and simple training.
With a smile, I turned to my side and found Eugene Hall standing there, his white hair fell neatly on his back.
"Good job," he said. His smile was pained, I could tell it was.
I didn't know why though.
"What's up?" I asked.
"That thing at the end there, it didn't use that against me either. You've grown much much stronger, kid."
I looked at my hands and nodded, a smile still lingered on my face.
"You're right, huh? I've gotten much stronger."
Eugene that held my Catene and tossed it over to me. I grabbed the chains in surprise before looking at my mentor as he raised his fists.
"Here's your last assignment, kid."
My eyes widened.
"It has been five years, roughly, since you died in the outside world…"
Five years…?
"Any time, the Outer Gods would barge inside. It could also end up faster like what happened with you."
Eugene faked a cough, his voice extremely solemn.
"Without going to stage five…"
Eugene flashed me a smile just like he had when we first met.
"Kill me and get out of here."
