The Way of The Dao

A flying ship crossed through the clouds in broad daylight, approaching a city rapidly.

"That's my home!"

Di Ji shouted happily on the deck of the ship, looking out over the city and finding her home once they got close. An average house next to others stood on the edge of the city.

"Mhmm?"

But soon, Di Ji frowned and became worried as she saw that there were several people in front of what was her house, as if they were waiting for someone. Not only her house, almost everyone in the city there were people with swords and other weapons at every house, some were running and some were carrying normal people to the city center.

"What's going on?" Feng Xiao looked at the city and also noticed the commotion there. At once, he steered the ship and went down near the house.

There were crowds of people outside the houses, some running and some on the ground.

"Grandpa, are you alright?" Feng Xiao asked once his grandfather approached. He hadn't seen Feng Ye for about 3 days and now he felt that he was different; he even imagined that his grandfather was afraid when his gaze met Ling Tian.

"I'm fine, Xiao'er." Feng Ye shook his head and smiled reassuringly. But when his gaze turned to Ling Tian, there was a deep respect and even fear when he saw him. Three days ago, on that night he stayed with Ling Tian on the deck of the ship, he felt a terrifying power from this young man, feeling that he was like a small ant before him.

Li Fengyuan followed quickly behind them, carrying a new sword that Ling Tian had given her; her gaze was now different and shone with confidence and firmness.

The man who was about to scream in fury and arrogance stopped as he saw several people leaving the ship, being surprised when he saw purely young people and one old man. The several people flying in the sky without the need for flying swords watched people on the ground, kneeling, beaten, raped and even bodies of people mercilessly killed. "Jiji, run!" Di Ji's mother also saw this and cried out in concern at the sight of Di Ji, not caring that she was almost naked and only had a few pieces of cloth on her.
