The Villainess With A Heroine Harem

26 Mrs. Brown is Disappointed

"Is it done?"

Braxy sighed as he looked at his friend's overexcited face.

"Yeah, bro. I already handed over the twenty mills earlier, it's as good as done."

The brawny boy grinned as he thought about the miserable fate that awaited the bitch who had humiliated him in front of all his buddies. But he still couldn't figure out why Amos seemed more obsessed with that class A girl than even the rich bitch.

"What in the hell does that rich bastard have to do with that class A girl though?"

Even though Braxy had been the one to convey all their instructions to the thugs, he didn't look the least bit interested in figuring things out.

"Fuck if I know, and I don't even care, man. The less we get involved with them, the better."

Don shrugged, deciding to drop the topic of the 'genius girl' and her mysterious relationship with Amos Black.

"Alright. But I still can't believe that guy can just throw fifty million so casually just because he doesn't like the look on her face, ahaha…"

The athletic boy frowned.

"Don't be so happy, bro. He's the heir to her rival company, only you would believe he's targeting her for any other reason."

A loud smack echoed through the room as Don slapped his thigh. "You calling me dumb?!"

Braxy sighed. "Just think about it, man, aren't we just being used?"

His chubby friend rolled his eyes, wondering if they were going to repeat their argument from the hospital. His friend really was too dumb. If not for his loyalty, they would have separated long ago.

"We doin' this again? Didn't you promise you'll help me deal with that bitch?"

"I already did all I could. Now we just wait and hope nothing goes wrong."

Don's face twisted. "You mean I won't get to punch her in the face?"

There was a momentary pause as Braxy looked at him in slight surprise.

"Bro… why the hell would you want to be anywhere near when they attack her?"

"But if I can't see the look on her face when she realizes she's doomed, isn't it all pointless?"

Braxy sighed. Just why did his friend keep ignoring all the dangers and risks they were taking? Did he not realize how perilous their situation was already?

"No, bro. Think about it, we're in an invincible position right now. Whether or not the thugs succeed, they'll be the one in trouble, not us."

He patted his chubby friend on the shoulder. "And even if someone tried to trace back the money, would anyone suspect us when looking for such a large amount? Fuck no. Although that guy Amos tried to use us, he'll still be a bigger suspect than us. Just chill and watch, no need to risk it anymore."

Don looked slightly reluctant to give up on his personal vendetta.

"Ugh, but I wanted to crush those pearly teeth of hers with my fist, and then watch her smile turn ugly as she begs me for mercy!"

In the time that he had known he would be getting a 'free win' thanks to Amos, he had even started entertaining fantasies of fully controlling the life of that bitch in his palm.

Wouldn't that be exhilarating?

Unfortunately, his friend kept pulling him back, too scared of taking chances.

"Bro… that's just fucked up…"

The brawny boy seemed to have made up his mind already.

"Don't care. I'm going whether you want me to or not. Just tell me when and where."

Braxy looked at his friend in exasperation. Just how was it that he kept getting more and more unruly? Would he not rest till both of their heads were set on a guillotine?

"I don't even know that myself, bro. And you're not going anywhere. You're far too easy to notice. We'll just end up getting caught."

"Fuck! You calling me fat?!"

----------

Mrs. Brown was quite surprised when her 'tsundere' daughter called her during work hours to ask when she would be home.

Wasn't she usually eager to avoid her, even during dinner time? So of course Mrs. Brown had to head home early to 'entertain' her cute daughter, much to the ire of her subordinates. But it was their own fault for having such a whimsical boss.

Of course, when she actually learned of the matter bothering her daughter, even she had to get serious.

"A stalker is following her around?"

Dixie nodded. "Mhm. So, help me get rid of him."

"Ahhh, since my cute daughter is begging me for it, how could I say no?"

Dixie breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks, mom."

Mrs. Brown hummed. As someone who had lived multipe decades longer than her daughter, she liked to think of the worst case in each situation, and take things from there.

If it turned out not to be the case, she was just overly cautious, no harm done. As for if her hunch was right, of course it would end up saving her plenty of trouble.

"But it's possible that the situation is much worse, you know?"

The short haired girl looked at her mother in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Mrs. Brown smiled. "Instead of a stalker, it could be someone scouting her out. There is no lack of daredevils who would risk their life. After all, there is no amount that Mr. White wouldn't be willing to pay for his precious daughter's ransom."

Looking at her daughter's panicked face, the mature lady couldn't help but chuckle.

"Fufu… what a cute expression."

Dixie couldn't help but pout. "Mom!"

"Alright alright, I'm serious now. Listen, although I can help you deal with this, I honestly don't think we should interfere in this matter."

Anger immediately clouded Dixie's face.

"What are you saying?! There's no way I can just ignore such a thing!"

Mrs. Brown shook her head with a sigh. "My poor, innocent daughter… You silly, smitten little girl, don't you know what will happen if we take all of this on ourselves and something goes wrong? It's possible that the old man White will just take his anger out on us. We'll be crushed completely."

And of course, Dixie exploded. "Who are you calling smitten?!"

The older lady sighed, disappointment clear on her face. "Ah~ My poor tsun-tsun baby. Listen, mommy doesn't mind whether you bring home a son-in-law or a daughter-in-law, but you can't make your mommy ashamed by behaving like a simp!"

Dixie's expression was slack. "A what?"

"A simp! Listen, Dixie. Your daddy is a moron. If I hadn't reined him in forcefully, he would probably just follow his father's whims all his life, and end up marrying someone else! He's so stupid, his business would be doomed, and he can't even fight! After his father passed away, he'd probably have ended up begging on the streets!"

Dixie looked at her mom in disbelief, unable to comprehend why her mother was going on a nonsense spree when she was seeking her help so sincerely.

"… What? Mom, what does this have to do with me?!"

Mrs. Brown smiled. "Shush. I'm getting here. Basically, he's only good in bed."

"Mom!"

"Geez, if you had this much zeal going after that little lass, she'll already be moaning under you!"

"That's enough, okay! It's fine if you keep making fun of me, but keep Emily out of this!"

There was a mischievous smirk on the older lady's face. "Oh, but I didn't say her name, right~?"

"Humph."

Mrs. Brown sighed. "Okay, don't listen to mom. Keep being a loyal sidekick. But remember, mom told you, you'll never get anywhere like this. You can come crying to me when she's pregnant with quadruplets or something."

"Or you can do like mom says, make a good batch of cookies with some 'special' ingredients, invite her over, and make her yours. Easy."

"Mom!"

The older lady cleared her throat. Alright, her daughter's anger was reaching a little beyond tsun-tsun levels now. It was better to stop before she goes yan-yan.

"Ohh… ahem, looks like you're about to hit your mom, which is very unfilial!"

"Just tell me what you're going to do about the stalker, mom, or I really will punch you."

"O-Okay… you really are my daughter, after all. Ahem, no worries. I just said we shouldn't deal with it directly, because if something goes wrong we'll be in trouble. But isn't it easy to just let her family know, and they'll deal with it?"

Dixie bit her lip. "But… won't she know?"

Her mother looked at her in surprise. "You want to hide it from her?"

The young girl nodded. "Y-Yeah."

"Why? It's not like you're the one doing anything bad, right?"

Dixie sighed. Wouldn't her princess want to deal with these kind of things herself if she knew about it? It was stupid to let her know of it.

"I just don't want her to worry about these kind of things."

Mrs. Brown closed her eyes, as if physically pained by Dixie's words.

'Just how could a gigachad like me end up raising such a huge simp?! Is this my punishment for all the sins in my youth?'

"Mom?"

The older lady could only shake away her melancholic thoughts.

"Ahem, yeah… I see. Don't worry about it, I doubt Mr. White will let her know, he probably doesn't want his daughter to worry either."

Dixie breathed a sigh of relief. "Oh, that makes sense."

"Alright, you go study now, don't worry about this anymore. I'll talk to them now."

"Okay, thanks mom."

Mrs. Brown waved her hand as Dixie walked away towards her room.

"Tsk tsk, what a simp…"

Dixie paused and looked back at her in confusion, and when her mother just stared back blankly, she shrugged and left, thinking that maybe it was nothing.

"Whew, good thing she didn't hear. Just where in the world would you find a simp this ferocious? Geez."

Taking out her phone, she began dialing up her acquaintances in high society.

The difference between the standing of Brown Confectioneries and the White Deer corporation wasn't small, and they didn't have any direct dealings. It would be strange for her to know Mr. White's personal number.

"Sorry, I only have the number for Mrs. White, will that work?"

"Shit!"

"Excuse me?"

"Ahem, no, just… yeah, just send me that."
