Lunchtime comes. They gathered at the dining table and ate lunch together.

After they finished eating lunch.

Elva looked at Luke. "Have you rested well?" she asked.

Luke nodded his head. "Yup! Thanks for asking."

"How's the cut on your hands? Does it hurt?" Elva asked again.

"Not anymore. After Veronica put a medicine on it, it doesn't hurt anymore," Luke replied.

"Good!" Elva said.

"Do we need to do another round of blood transfusion again?" Luke asked.

Elva shook her head. "No need, 'coz Graven's skin color already return to normal. But if there's a need in the future..."

"Just inform Grandpa Terros and I'll come running here. I'll do anything for my brother," Luke said in a serious tone.

"Okay. By the way, I need to bring you and Terros to the cave so that you can identify the prisoner that is awaiting my verdict there. If you can identify him as the cursed King disguising as his servant then we will kill him right away. We will not give him a chance to escape the cave. He will die today!" Elva declared in a serious tone.

"Alright, I can't wait to see the prisoner. Take me there!" Luke said.

"I'll come with you, guys!" Terros offered.

"Okay," Elva replied. She looked at Veronica and said, "Can you please watch over Graven while we're going to the cave?"

"Sure! Leave Graven to me! I'll take care of him..." Veronica replied.

"Alright, let's go!" Elva said and grabbed the men's arms, teleporting them to the cave.

A few minutes later, they landed outside the chamber where the prisoner was being kept.

The prisoner was lying on the mat that was spread on the dry ground during that time. He was facing the visitors.

"He's the only survivor among the cursed King's men. Look at his face closely..." Elva said.

Luke stared at the prisoner's face. A few minutes later he already had a verdict. "He is the cursed King disguising as his servant!" he declared.

"Are you sure?" Elva asked.

"Yeah... I'm sure 100%! I can see through his disguise!" Luke said vehemently.

That was the moment the King's eyes opened and saw the visitors standing outside the invisible barrier looking at him. He sits upright.

His eyes widened in shock after seeing Luke standing beside the goddess. Based on the way Luke looks at him - he already knows that Luke was able to see through his disguise. He was busted! Damn! He groaned in dismay, just when he thought the women are going to free him soon as long he continue to pretend that he is the servant and not the cursed king!

What a bummer!

How did Luke's spirit leave the jar? And damn! He had already returned successfully to his original body. C-could it be that they already save Graven as well? He and Luke were supposed to be held captive by his relatives in their territory. It looks like they have returned safely!

Now, he is in a dangerous situation!

It seemed he is doomed to die for good this time. His spirit lay dormant in the basement of the crumbling castle for centuries and when he awakened in the current times - he was still trapped in the basement. His freedom and a chance to rule the world again are about to come to end, today!

Luke looked at the King in the eyes. "Tying to disguise yourself as your servant, eh? You're busted! You are going to die in my hands today! I will burn you alive!" he said indignantly and waved his hand, bright flames instantly emerged from his fingertips.

"Just do it! I dare you!" the cursed King sneered.

"Son, calm down. Don't kill the bastard yet. Maybe he knows how to wake up Graven. If you kill him today we might not be able to save your brother!" Terros stopped Luke before he can create serious damage to the King.

"Luke, Terros is right! Listen to him!" Elva said. "If our last resort won't bring Graven back to us then what's the point of killing the King too early? He might hold the key that can awaken Graven from his deep slumber!" she added urgently.

Luke breathed deeply. "Guys, you have a point," he finally said. The flames disappeared from his hand instantly. He looked at the King and shouted. "You're lucky to live another day!"

The cursed King grinned. "Thank you, for changing your mind. Guys, it looks like you have problem waking up Graven from his slumber, eh? I put him in that condition before I place him in my coffin. Therefore, I am the only one who can bring him back alive and restore him to his original self. I will negotiate with you, guys. Set me free! In return... I will wake up Graven from his slumber!" he said excitedly. "Chose wisely!" he added.

He lie down on the mat again and gave them his back. Not wanting to talk with them any longer.

Terros, Luke, and Elva looked at each other.

"Let's get out of here and discuss this issue back in the house," Elva said calmly. She grabbed the men's arms, teleporting them back to the house.

A few seconds later, they vanished from the cave.

The cursed King's rich laughter filled the chamber, he continue laughing in amusement.

He's already expecting his precious freedom - about to happen soon!

...

The trio was back in the house, landing on the terrace. They settled comfortably on the chairs.

"Let's discuss about the King's offer after I get back from checking Graven's condition in the healing room," Terros said and walked towards the door. He disappeared inside the house.

Terros entered the healing room and saw Veronica replacing the blanket on Graven's bed. "How is he?" he asked.

"He's still the same, not moving, but his breathing is back to normal. The color of his skin is normal as well. Did you see the prisoner? Did Luke able to identify him?" Veronica inquired.

"Yeah! It turns out that he is indeed the cursed King who disguise as his servant. Good thing Elva didn't release him..." Terros replied.

"So - what's next?" Veronica inquired.

Terros sighed. "The King admitted to us that he was the one who put Graven into a deep slumber and he claimed that is the only one who can awaken Graven. He offered us to heal Graven as long we will set him free. But we all know that once he is free and regain his full power back, he will be an evil and tyrant ruler! We can't allow such a person to exist in the current peaceful world we live in," he explained.

"I agree, Grandpa. The cursed King must die!" Veronica declared boldly.

"Yeah, he must die! But we also need to consider Graven's condition," Terros replied gloomily. "Honestly, I'm conflicted inside," he said, sighing heavily. "Can you please continue watching Graven? The three of us still has to decide what to do with the cursed King's offer," he said.

"Sure!" Veronica responded with a nod of her head.

"Thanks, daughter!" Terros said and left the room. He joined Elva and Luke on the terrace.

Elva looked at her companions. "What can you say with the King's offer? Should we agree with his negotiation of freedom in return of waking up Graven?" she asked them, wanting to know their decision.

"Right now, we shouldn't decide hastily. I mean... we shouldn't accept the King's offer without thinking things over first. We can't make a big mistake such as this one. The King should die! His path and that of Laura should never cross in this lifetime!" Terros declared.

"I agree!" Elva said and continue... "We can't allow him to leave the cave, he might gain strength and then one day he will create chaos that all of us can't stop! It's our responsibility to eliminate the threat before it will grow strong and powerful beyond our control!"

"But how are we gonna wake up my brother if the King is the only choice we had?" Luke asked, confused. "I also agree that the King should die! I'm volunteering to kill him on the spot with my hands! But we are left with one important question... How are we going to cure Graven when we already know who is the culprit and he alone can cure my brother's strange illness?"

"Let's kill him after he will cure Graven!" Elva suggested.

"That's easy!" Luke said.

"How about we try other means first? Maybe we can find a cure for Graven without agreeing to the King's proposal? I just don't trust that King!" Terros said.

"What other alternatives do we have?" Elva asked.

"Let's try Rebecca's Grandma! Maybe she can give us some idea on how to cure Graven. If she failed... then let's try other options. The King's offer should be our last resort not our main priority," Terros suggested.

"Alright, by all means, bring Rebecca's Grandma here as soon as possible so that we can consult her about Graven's condition. I may be able to provide Graven's daily maintenance and nourishment for his body, yet, I'm also confused on what to do to bring his consciousness back," Elva admitted her weaknesses and difficulties in front of the men.

"It's okay, Elva. Don't push yourself too hard. Remember that you are pregnant. You are not supposed to be bombarded with stress due to Graven's situation but we already shamelessly bothered you with his condition this far. We're very sorry for that," Terros apologized.

Elva smiled and said, "No problem. When it comes to Graven and Veronica's friend's - I'm always ready to lend my helping hand."

"Thank you, goddess!" Terros and Luke said in unison.

"So - when are you going to see Rebecca? So that you can bring her Grandma here?" Elva asked.

"I'll visit the ladies in Graven's manor this afternoon at 5:00," Terros replied.

"Okay, that's good," Elva said and rose to her feet. "I'm going to my mini laboratory," she said and entered the house.

Luke and Terros looked at each other.

"I'm going to my place for a few hours. I will return here tonight to check on my brother, "Luke said. "Please tell the deity I went home for a few hours to take care of some important matters that needed my attention..." he said.

"I will," Terros replied. "See you tonight!"

"See, yeah! Bye Grandpa!' Luke vanished from the terrace in the blink of an eye.

Terros entered the house, going to the healing room.
