Corbin watched the myriad of emotion flashing on his soon-to-be wife's face. They have come this far.

Things were a bit blurry between them, their love story is not an ideal one. Their relationship is built with lies and anger, not exactly an ideal relationship that's surprisingly going to end in a wedding tomorrow. Everything happened so fast between. Fate had thrown them into a make-believe wedding and although he is willing to marry her with all his heart, he knows Rebecca feels the opposite, she doesn't want all this. She just goes along with him to save herself.

Rebecca eyed him. "So, what is the plan?" she inquired.

"Once the wedding is over, we will stay here for three days, then after that, we will go back to my place in the manor where Ebony and Anastasia were residing... then from there you can finally take your leave safely," he answered.

Rebecca took a deep breath. "How can I be sure that you and your parents won't send someone on my back to spy and monitor on my moves?" she asked. She knows that Corbin is after Laura and he is the eldest son of the vampire couple, he is naturally inclined to favor and help his parents more than her.

Once she's successful in her escape, she will no longer contact Graven and Laura, to ensure their safety. Although she like Corbin a lot and is emotionally attached to him, she can't trust him despite her genuine fondness for him. Protecting her friends is always been her top priority!

Corbin released a deep sigh. "Wife...don't worry too much..." he said gently. "Tomorrow is our wedding day. Can you please forget the things that are bothering you? Instead, just focus on our wedding day and enjoy this wonderful occasion because good things like this may never happen again," he said.

Rebecca took a deep breath. "You are right. You got a point!"

"After you escaped and go back to your old life. Would you enter into another relationship again with another guy?" he asked her all of a sudden.

His question startled Rebecca. Her brows knitted together. "I'm not thinking of such thing..." she honestly said. Then she asked him the same question. "How about you? Are you going to find another woman to replace me?" she asked.

Corbin sighed. "Probably not in the next 100 years. I will wait for you in the next 100 years. You can always come back to me if you're sad and feeling lonely," he offered.

Rebecca smiled. "So many things can happen in 100 years!" she blurted.

"I know... but it should be enough for you to finish everything that you wanted to do with your life and come back to me to pledge your love and loyalty to me. I'll give you your freedom so that one day when you're done and tired with everything out there, you can finally rest in my embrace," he said, his eyes bursting with love for her.

"Aww!" Rebecca touched his face lovingly and kissed his lips. "Thanks for your understanding, I'm heavily indebted to you, yet you are still willing to let go of me. You're my hero and savior!" she said, her eyes glowed with emotions. She truly admired all his effort to save her.

Corbin smiled. "I'm glad I become your hero today. You might think of me differently one day," he said sadly.

Rebecca shook her head. "Nah, no matter what happened to us in the future. I will always remember your kindness and heroic efforts to save me, it will always be engraved in my heart," she stated.

Corbin enveloped Rebecca in his tight embrace.

No words needed, their lips locked in a passionate duel, and their bodies followed suit in a fiery fusion that gives them shattering orgasmic pleasure all night long.

The following day.

Rebecca and Corbin were joining the couple in the dining hall for breakfast.

Sylvia looked at Rebecca. "You look blooming today, dear..." she commented.

Rebecca faked a smile. "Of course, it's my wedding day, Mother. I'm excited to walk in the aisle with my husband," she replied cheerfully.

"Good! I'm excited and happy too! Finally, this wedding will push through as planned. I won't allow anything or anyone to ruin this momentous event," Sylvia said feverishly, her eyes gleaming.

Corbin cleared his throat. "This is all possible because of all of your efforts my dear Mother and Father! My salute to both of you! Thank you very much for making everything possible! For making sure that my bride and I will have an unforgettable wedding today," he said happily.

"Of course, what makes my son happy, I'll do it!" Sylvia said.

"You and your wife got all our support, son! Cheers to this beautiful day! We're looking forward to the new addition of our family!" Zalvo said in a voice filled with rejoicing.

"Let's continue eating our breakfast and get ready for the final preparation. The wedding ceremony will start tonight at 7:00 in the evening, and the wedding party will last the whole night. So we should start dressing up for the occasion beginning at 4:00 in the afternoon," Sylvia said.

Everyone around the table was beaming.

They resumed eating breakfast.

Half an hour later, after they finished eating, Corbin and Rebecca went upstairs to their room, while the vampire couple exited the house to check the wedding venue one last time wanting to iron out glitches if there's any before the wedding ceremony begins.

Hours went by.

Noontime comes.

The excitement level around the dining table is very high, shooting to the roof.

Lunch is finally over.

Corbin and Rebecca retired to their rooms to have a long bath.

At 4:00 in the afternoon.

Corbin helped Rebecca donned the red wedding gown on her body.

A few minutes later.

Sylvia entered her son's room to personally apply makeup to the bride.

The makeup session lasted for one hour.

After Sylvia was done with Rebecca's makeup, Corbin was bored to death.

"I'm done with your makeup, daughter," Sylvia said.

"Thank you, mother!" Rebecca said breathlessly. She stared at herself in the mirror. In fairness, her fake mother-in-law is naturally gifted when it comes to makeup. She looked like a different version of herself on her wedding day. She's liking this new look of hers.

Sylvia looked at her son. "How about you, son? Would you allow me to do your makeup?" she offered.

Corbin smiled and shook his head vigorously. "No need, Mother. I don't wear makeup on my face, I can't stand it! Sorry, Mom!" he refused politely.

Sylvia smiled. "No problem... I'll take my leave now," she said. She walked towards the door and left the room.

Corbin went to Rebecca's side who's still sitting on the chair facing the dresser table, staring at her face. "What's wrong? You don't like my Mother's makeup?" he inquired.

Rebecca looked at him in the mirror and shook her head. "Nothing, I usually don't wear makeup much. Your mother is very good at applying makeup, she completely transformed my face!" she raved.

Corbin smiled. "Yeah, that's one of her specialty," he spoke.

"Which one do you like best, my original face without makeup? Or this current image?" she said as she pointed her index finger at her face.

Corbin chuckled. "I love both!" he answered.

Half an hour later, Rebecca was feeling sleepy already. She wanted to get rid of the wedding dress and take a nap. She looked at Corbin. "Can I lie down on the bed for a few minutes?" she asked.

"Sure! Let me help you." He helped her settled on the bed.

Minutes went by.

Corbin was watching Rebecca sleeping on the bed in her wedding dress, looking like a sleeping beauty.

He smiled in amusement, the only bride who sleep on her wedding dress on the day of her wedding, it's no other than Rebecca, her beloved woman.

He went to her side on the bed and gently shakes her arm. "Wife, wake up...the wedding ceremony is about to take place soon!" he whispered in her ears.

A few minutes later.

Rebecca opened her eyes and looked at Corbin's face. "What time is it?" she asked.

"It's already 5:30 in the afternoon. Wake up, and get up from the bed. You need to retouch your makeup because it's a mess," Corbin reminded her while chuckling.

Rebecca sit upright in the bed and sighed. She stood up and went to the dresser table and looked at her face... oh my... her makeup was all over her face!

Corbin was laughing softly. She looked at him and stick out her tongue at him.

"Want my help in fixing your makeup?" he asked.

"Never mind. I'll do it myself," she replied. She combed her below-the-shoulder chestnut curly hair. Then carefully removed the makeup and cleaned her entire face with the cotton balls. Then she began applying light makeup on her face.

Finished retouching, she looked at him. "What do you think?" she asked.

"Not bad. You looked pretty as always with or without makeup," he commented.

"Okay, fine," she said and rose to her feet. She smothered her wedding dress, thankfully it's not rumpled. She went to the window and looked down at the back of the house that was currently turned into a big garden with candles burning everywhere giving the whole venue an enchanting glow. The whole surrounding was now submerged in darkness.

The door opened and the vampire couple entered the room.

Rebecca turned around and looked at the gorgeous couple in matching black ensemble. Zalvo was wearing a black tuxedo while Sylvia was wearing a long black gown that glittered with sequins.

Sylvia looked at Rebecca. "What happened to your makeup?" she asked.

"I'm sorry, Mother. I... I... fell asleep earlier with my makeup on," she confessed.

"No worries, sit down. I'll fix it for you," Sylvia said.

Rebecca lowered herself on the chair facing her fake mother-in-law.

Sylvia set to work and fixed Rebecca's makeup. Fifteen minutes later, she's done.

She looked at her husband. "The wedding ceremony will start in twenty minutes. You guys stay in the center of the podium while Rebecca will walk in the entrance of the venue so that everyone can see the bride walking radiantly on the aisle," Sylvia said.

"Okay," Corbin and Zalvo replied in chorus.

They exited the room, went downstairs, and left the house to go to the wedding venue.
