The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao appeared in his room inside the Cloud palace. He did not wake up right away though, the child was stuck in the state of comprehension. When he was chanting the essence of Dao with Dao Yin, it felt as if something was resonating deep within his soul sea.

After tracking it down, he found that it was his soul that was resonating with the Dao Chant. This situation made him ask, why was this happening? He had yet to master the essence of Dao. Thus, he did not know the main reason. In the end, he began pondering over this question only.

Gradually he was lost. While he was pondering, he did not realize it but entered a state of deep meditation.

Sun Eckhart came to his room after sensing the spatial fluctuations, however, when he was about to get close to Yang Dao a ring of black light appeared around the Dao Child. Sun Eckhart took one glance at the ring of black light and he was shivering. The power of this ring was in the realm of True immortals. He did not dare to get ahead of himself and try to barge in.

He patiently sat down in the same room, meditating. The black light kept surrounding Yang Dao. Alisha also wanted to check up but was sent away by Sun Eckhart. The man told everyone that Yang Dao has entered seclusion. The area around Cloud Palace was deemed forbidden to access by anyone.

Yang Dao was the jewel of the sect, a lot of the true disciples even took the responsibility to patrol the parameter around the Cloud Palace to check if someone was sneaking around. Even more than this, these disciples were all being trained by the elites of the sect who had faced Daemons. They all had a chance to advance in the levels in the future.

Yang Dao was the reason they were inspired to never give up and he was also the spearhead in their path of Daemon Slaying. The whole sect entered high alert and a similar situation was taking place in the Red Moon Sect.

Old Demon Baracus had set a high alert and Dao Yin was to be guarded at all cost. He personally sat outside her room. After teleporting back, Dao Yin was already surrounded by the people of the sect, however, just when someone tried to approach her and ask, what was it that she saw inside the secret realm.

A white ring of light erupted from her and what followed was a cloud of ashes flying around the room. The demons were burned to ashes by the white flames. Dao Yin was unaware of all this and she was busy pondering over the mysteries of the soul.

She wanted to know, why the Dao Chant was resonating with the core of her demon soul. The demon soul was similar to the primal soul infant inside the human soul sea. Dao Yin was having same thoughts and conditions as Yang Dao. Old demon Baracus was delayed by something and thus he could not save the greedy and hypocritic elders from approaching her and dying without even knowing what happened.

While the two were lost in comprehension their cultivation realm was also progressing steadily. They had all their thoughts focused on the soul, and thus the soul was being nourished by the spiritual energy on its own.

The two people were also growing physically outside as they sat in seclusion. Before they realized it, the seclusion has continued for a time bit shorter than a year.

Yue Jing came to the Cloud Palace but she did not enter inside. Amil suddenly appeared in front of her and asked, "Junior Sister, it is forbidden to approach the palace."

Yue Jing bowed her head to the guy and said, "I am aware of that senior brother but now Dao has been in seclusion for almost a year, today is his birthday. I need to at least record an image of his in an image recording stone or the families will descend into chaos."

Amil shook his head and said, "You do understand that my hands are tied right? If you take a step forward you will trigger the killing arrays set by Elder Chime."

Yue Jing wanted to say something but it was useless. They were not allowed to approach the Cloud Palace if they valued their lives. Helpless the two of them just stood outside the door. Suddenly, dark clouds began to condense and the people all looked up at the sky.

Yue Jing asked, "What happened to the weather?"

Amil shrugged his shoulders and was about to say something when a firm voice sounded, "Everyone, leave the premises of the cloud palace, a heavenly tribulation has arrived."

The disciples scattered around the cloud palace were shocked to hear such news. They moved quickly and left the premises. Everyone was smart enough to understand what might have attracted the heavenly tribulation. Yang Dao must have reached the peak of the nascent soul realm.

This could be the only reason, and thus they all moved away from the place.

In the Demon Realm, Dao Yin had also reached the peak of the nascent soul realm. Old man Baracus was even more cautious and had everyone leave the place. The whole sect was evicted for safety reasons.

The clouds condensed thicker and thicker, it was as if the whole world was drowning in darkness. Yang Dao and Dao Yin were still sitting in a lotus position with no care of the world. Sun Eckhart and Baracus has also retreated.

The elders of both sects had gathered to as the sect master about what was happening around. When the two elders told them about the heavenly tribulation everyone was shocked.

Elder Bai said, "Why is their no lightning in the clouds? How can we tell what is the level of this tribulation?"

This sudden question stumped the elders of the sect. They did not expect this oddity. Elder Jing chimed in, "Indeed, their is not lightning in the skies. How can we judge the level of the tribulation?"

When the people were confused a strong beam of light erupted from the inside of the residences where the two Dao Children were, and like a spear of light they pierced through the dark clouds.

The people witnessed this scene and they suddenly fell into a stupor. The beams of light turned into a silhouette of a young man resembling Yang Dao to a great percentage. The same thing happened to Dao Yin as well.

The immortal plane was filled with super powerful experts. However, these super experts were experiencing something they considered shameful. Their souls were shivering from this sudden movement in the Dao. They could not understand or deduce the epicenter of this movement, but it was surely a scary thing for them.

Suddenly, they all seemed to hear a sound, "The world is a temporary place to learn about the mistakes your soul would commit. Everything in existence is a lie, and it is temporary, only the soul is permanent. Those who realize this, will gain true immortality."

This sound was almost like a whisper. However, everyone in the immortal plane could hear. The people did not understand the meaning of it at first and in the end, they thought it was a tip, that those who have a stronger soul are going to live forever.

Lady Zen stood in the balcony of the Heavenly Dao Palace, and said, "Mortals sure are the same. The Dao itself is guiding them towards the path of immortality, yet they are stuck to the secular beliefs."

Feng Yun replied, "Did you miss it?"

Lady Zen shook her head and said, "Sister Feng Yun, I missed my time with the masters. I wonder if they are any different then before?"

Feng Yun chuckled and said, "Don't worry, they are nothing like they were. Did you ever see them going out of their ways and help the immortal plane, giving them a tip?"

Lady Zen nodded and asked, "What is the story behind these four girls? They keep looking at me with great curiosity."

Feng Yun replied, "They have given up their mortal connections to stay beside young master. Imagine the charm he has over him."

Suddenly a voice sounded, "Master, it is your charm over us. This guy never told us anything and you know, his emotional quotient sure was questionable."

Feng Yun said, "Kiya, you do know it was not our fault. We also suffered from this characteristic of his."

Lady Zen asked in a firm tone, "Why are you eavesdropping on us?"

Kiya replied in a hurried manner, "I apologize, Master Zen, but I can hear everything going on in the Heavenly Dao Palace, even if I want to ignore it, the words just fly into my ears. I could not help but react."

Lady Zen smiled and said, "Seems like you also have a mystery of your own."
