The Urban Dao Child

Yang Dao suddenly thought about something and condensed biz azure wings behind his back. With one flap, he flew over to the sky. Looking down it seemed as if the whole land was set on fire. The boy liked this scene, to think that the fire that could burn anything to nothing can also make nothing look so good.

He flapped his wings and began to fly around. After an hour, he sensed the sword on his waist to be shivering. He smiled and took the blade out of its sheath and the blade suddenly flew out of his grip. Yang Dao did not know how to explain it but he did not have any fear like losing the blade. Quickly flapping his wings, the boy decided to keep up with the blade.

Soon, he picked up some sounds, it seemed like someone was fighting. Yang Dao looked in the direction and found the blade to be diving out of the sky and landing in front of a figure. The figure belonged to none other than Dao Yin.

Yang Dao had no reason to hesitate and he also descended to the ground in a blink. He smiled at the girl and said, "Yin, did you miss me?"

Dao Yin, who was facing ten or so people gave up her guard and turned around. She said with a smile, "Yang, I knew you will be here soon."

The smile on her face was enough to melt the whole universe. The crowd chasing after her said, "Kid, who are you? Do not mess with us, this girl has taken away some things that belonged to us. Let her hand them over and then we will leave."

Yang Dao was surprised and looked at Dao Yin before he said, "Yin, let me join you, then we can watch the scenery here in peace."

Surprisingly, Dao Yin did not refuse but nodded with a soft hum, she said, "We should not kill anyone."

Yang Dao nodded and said, "It is good, we can just scare them silly."

The other person who had just spoken up and asked him to leave was about to react when Yang Dao appeared in front of him. The next thing this boy sensed was immense pain coming from his chest cavity. Yang Dao had punched him there.

The other people did not expect this kid to take action over them so quickly, another guy said, "Take this, you brat."

He kicked at Yang Dao but Dao Yin had arrived to beat him up before he could reach Yang Dao. it was not like the Dao Child of Heaven needed any protection, but when she saw someone trying to hurt him, her brain reacted on its own.

The same thing happened around ten times. If any person tried to beat Dao Yin, Yang Dao will take the lead to beat up the people, and vice versa. After half an hour all the people who were chasing after Dao Yin were kneeling on the ground with bruises and swelling covering their faces. Yang Dao asked, "What was it that you said earlier? Care to say it again? I am sure there was some misunderstanding."

The leading boy nodded and said, "You are correct, what we found belonged to this lady and we had gotten greedy thus we tried to raise a ruckus."

Yang Dao nodded and said, "If you find something at the same time as someone else, then your strength becomes the deciding factor. If you found it first, then the founder is the keeper. We will not snatch what others find, but if you came after our things, you will get more than just bruises the next time around."

The people nodded like they were chickens pecking on the grains. Yang Dao did not say anything more and turned to face Dao Yin, who was still gazing at these people with a cold stare. He smiled and walked closer to her and asked, "Do you want to kill them?"

Dao Yin nodded, and the people shivered. Yang Dao asked, "Then why do you hesitate?"

"They did not commit such a big crime, plus they are humans, if I kill them, it will affect the human-demon relationships. So, let them go for now." said Dao Yin.

The boy nodded and said, "What if I kill them? Will that calm your heart?"

Dao Yin chuckled and shook her head, "You are not someone who will take a life without a good reason, Yang. Forget it. Did you not say that you will take me to watch the scenery?"

Yang Dao smiled at her and then stretched out his hand. Dao Yin took his hand, and then as if something telepathic, they both condensed azure wings behind their backs, and with a flap, they were already in the sky.

Behind them, the group of your teenagers was left gazing at the pair in awe and daze. One of the boys said, "We should find out more about them and have them payback for this humiliation."

The leader of the group woke up from this sentence and walked over to the speaker. Then a crisp pop rang out in the surroundings. The leader said, "Do you think it is so easy to find out about them? Did you not see how strong they were? Did you recover from that beating already?"

In The Heavenly Dao Palace, Athena, Kiya, Mika, and Lisa stood surrounding a water pail. This pail was displaying the scenes from the lower realm, where Dao Yin and Yang Dao were, at the moment flying.

Mika asked, "This guy, why could he not be this romantic in his last life?"

Kiya and Lisa sighed, Athena asked, "Do you mean he was not sweet?"

Kiya chuckled and said, "My lovely Athena, this guy has been ever so lovely. However, his emotional quotient was low beyond limits. I got hugs, Mika got a kiss, Sister Lisa, who was beside him all the time did not get anything."

Lisa rebuked, "I got his care too, or I would have been unable to speak, let alone being an Elementalist."

The girls began to gossip and reminisce about the old days, and Athena would listen. She would only speak if it was something common from his old life.

Suddenly, a cough broke the happy atmosphere, and the room became cold. Feng Yun had walked into the room and said, "Did I not tell you four, that you must not peek in on the young master?"

Mika shook her head and said, "Master, it is not our fault. Master Bai left the room for us to take care and when we were checking things, this pail began to display the scenes. Feng Yun smiled and said, "It is only natural. Now off you go, and finish the rest of the chores."

The girls dispersed and Feng Yun cast a glance at the pail, and mumbled, "I would like to see, how you will react."

Yang Dao and Dao Yin did not say anything just flew around holding each other's hands. The sky was clear and they were like birds. Sometimes they would fly in loops and sometimes they will be rolls. They were like children in a park. Suddenly Dao Yin said, "Did you sense it?"

Yang Dao nodded and cast a gaze in a seemingly random direction. He said, "Let us go and check."

The girl nodded and the two people flew again. On the way, they found a lot of people moving in the same direction as they were. Dao Yin asked, "What do you think it is?"

Yang Dao shrugged his shoulder and said, "We will see when we reach there. However, if it is not useful, let us not fight the others for it."

Dao Yin nodded and said, "I understand what you mean. But if it is useful, would you support me?"

Yang Dao smiled and said, "Did you even have to ask? Was it not understood? Of course, I will support you. But we must share equally. I am not a simp."

Dao Yin smiled and said, "Yes. What is a simp?"

Yang Dao shrugged his shoulders and said, "I heard my mom say it to my dad. I figured from her tone that it was not something good. So, I said it to you."

Dao Yin nodded and they flew further.

It took Dao Yin and Yang Dao a couple of hours to reach closer to the vicinity of the object calling to them. They found themselves standing in front of a huge palace, however, the place seemed to be in a bad condition.

Suddenly, they heard a voice in their minds, "Are you the one, I have been waiting for? Have you finally come back to accept me, Master."

This voice made the two people shiver and they felt sad for some reason.
