As Tenebres listened intently to the incantation, his piercing eyes widened with surprise. A flicker of recognition danced across his face, illuminating the depths of his darkened features. The atmosphere in the room, already heavy with an aura of mystique, began to shift, responding to Tenebres' realization.

The air crackled with newfound intensity, charged with electric energy that seemed to hum and vibrate. Shadows deepened as if drawn closer by an unseen force, wrapping around Tenebres like tendrils of anticipation. The torchlight flickered, casting dancing shadows that now seemed to mirror his astonishment.

The room itself seemed to hold its breath, suspended in a moment of suspended animation. Time, ever an observer, appeared to acknowledge the significance of the moment, holding still as if caught in its own temporal grip. The very fabric of reality rippled as if echoing Tenebres' surprise.

Until the entire room was completely enveloped by a massive flash of light that blinded everyone, and a distorting sound echoed. Before long, the light dissipated and the dark knight and Tenebres saw themselves alone in that place.

"Time magic… humans couldn't use that in the past," Tenenbres said while quinting his eyes. "No matter, his body won't stand the cost and the other are just kids who will be lost in time without him. Let's go… I have a job to finish."

Malon's vision got darker and darker and the sounds started to fade away and the last thing he could see was Sailena desperately making movements he couldn't understand, until his vision completely darkened.

After all that, Malon felt surrounded by darkness not knowing where he was or what had happened to him, a deafening silence was all there was, until for a few moments he could hear the sound of water dripping somewhere nearby.

His mind was still confused, for brief moments he heard strange and distant voices and sounds as well as brief memories, it was still confused and he didn't understand what had really happened, even if in the end he wanted it to be just a bad dream.

"It isn't a dream, moron," Aion said. "By the Norse gods… how did you became that guy when you are this wimpy?"

A short time later his vision began to clear and he could see an old wooden roof, while he was confused and with his aching body he tried to sit up realizing he was in a bed.

After a little effort he was able to sit up, he saw candles in the corners that illuminated the place and the bed with a blanket covering his body, looking to the side he saw blond hair on the side of his bed and when his vision totally cleared he could see Sailena was sleeping on a xhair

Malon showed surprise but soon remembered everything that had happened and then he sighed in relief. Before long, Sailena opened her eyes and then jumped from the chair due to the surprise.

"Hey SAilena, are you okay?" Malon asked. "What happened? Where is Ervan and Ailen?"

"... It seems that you are alright," Sailena said and then sighed in relief as well. "You were so hurt and you didn't wake up… anyway, Ervan and Ailen were nowhere to be seen when I woke up. As for what happened… I can only imagine considering what we heard in the castle."

"... About that…" Malon hesitated.

"Yeah, it was fucking latin!" Aion said. "Who cares about time magic, I want to know why Ervan knows fucking Latin."

Malon wasn't certain, but soon he got up from his bed and then he went to the window, only to see a village. He didn't recognize it and the enemy's base wasn't close to any village.

The village exuded a sense of coziness and simplicity. The wooden houses, with their sloping roofs and inviting front porches, blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The wood has weathered gracefully over the years, adding character to each dwelling. Some houses have whimsical details like carved wooden accents or colorful shutters, which add a touch of playfulness to the overall ambiance.

After looking around Malon caught glimpses of children's laughter and playful shouts. The village is alive with the energy and joy of young ones. Children of various ages can be seen running and playing in the village square or along the meandering paths. Their carefree spirits and boundless enthusiasm bring life to the village.

"So you woke up, kiddo?" A man wearing somewhat old-fashioned clothes and a big hat showed up.

"This guy is…" Aion muttered in surprise. "Wow, to think that they would find one of their allies in a period like this."

It was one of the guys that Aion faced in that massive tower. The guy with tattoos on his arms, but he didn't have them now. Vaeral… that was his name…

"Mister Vaeral found us when I woke up," Sailena said. "You are too heavy to be carried by me alone, so he helped me."

"Oh, please… Mister is unnecessary, little miss," Vaeral said and then grabbed a chair. "Putting that aside, let's Skip the introductions. Sailena told me what happened to you and while I had a hard time believing in her, I already confirmed it. Tenebres is back and he is changing history as we speak."

"...How so?" Malon asked.

"You don't know? He can use time magic, he can cross time and space freely," Vaeral shrugged. "He is probably searching for you or something else. If I were him, I wouldn't feel threatened by kids that were defeated by a minion of mine."

"Emotional Damage!" Aion said.

Malon didn't like to hear that, but he couldn't say anything in rebuttal. He truly had his ass kicked by the dark monster and because he needed Erval's help, he exposed himself for the attack that granted the dark knight the chance to steal the relic.

"How is he using time magic?" Malon asked.

"He is literally rewriting history… I read some books about him, and how he was defeated by your ancestors, but now those books changed and tells that he won against those guys," Vaeral explained.
