Since Aion didn't have to be stealthy anymore, he could let loose… he would wage war by himself and annihilate a country. So, it doesn't matter if the guys in the fallen capital manage to alert their allies. With that in mind, he summoned his death knights and gave them the order to attack all of the enemies and bring anyone who looked suspicious or out of place.

"My healing skills aren't amazing aside from when I use them to heal myself with Inner Release," Aion thought while he was healing his sisters and their husbands. "Still, even with my high magic, I can't make them recover the body parts that they had lost… I can only rely on Priest and on the evolutions of that class for that."

Artemisia said that some of their ancestors got good enough with water and light magic to the point that they could heal lost limbs. However, it wasn't just a matter of high magic power… so, Aion couldn't just use a lot of mana to solve it.

The fallen capital began to tremble, and Aion could hear some screams in the distance. He only had nine death knights, but they were all enemies that once put up a good fight against him, and they also could kill dozens of targets if they needed to. Considering how much experience and mana Aion was recovering, he could tell they were doing that just fine.

When morning came, Aion managed to heal those four as much as he could. They didn't have any more scars, but he could restore the parts that they lost… at least not for now.

"They are completely exhausted, and they probably Haven't been fed in many days so they will stay like this for a while, but this is for the best…" Aion thought while emerging them on an earth platform and making them leave the half-destroyed castle. "Still, this is for the best… they should only wake up once I restore them completely."

Aion made his skeletons put all the bodies on a single spot and then also made them get all the valuable things that they had and brought to the capital. Aion also wanted to investigate what they were up to there, but that could wait… in the end, he found a massive pile with five hundred corpses in a single spot. Aion had a hard time not burning them to a crisp…

"... They will have their uses," Aion said while trying to convince himself. "This much should be enough to satisfy Vangel. As for the others… they won't have my mercy."

Aion made his death knights move in all directions, and then they began to fight the earthworms that appeared. That was the best way for him to recover mana, after all. After that, he left the fallen capital on an earth cabin that he created to protect those four against the wind and the sun of the desert, and then he flew to the closest base of the Zaera kingdom.

Since he had to slow down a bit due to the passengers, Aion had to travel for two hours. Still, fortunately, instead of finding a base, they found a large group of soldiers trying to cross the desert. Aion approached to ask where he could see his father and brothers. However, much to his surprise, he found them leading the group. At first, they raised their guard since they didn't know what it was. Still, Lexus, Henri, Philip, George, and Elio eventually recognized Aion's magic and his controlling the platform.

"Aion? When did you…" Lexus said, and then he opened his eyes widely when he saw Maisie and Darina.

Lexus bit his lips to the point that he began to bleed a lot in his mouth. His expression of utter despair couldn't be described with words. Aion's brothers also looked the same… George and Philip, who were the most hot-blooded, prepared their horses to cross the desert, but Aion stopped them.

"I will solve this…" Aion declared. "Retreat and wait patiently for news."

Those two looked at Aion and felt shivers when they saw his eyes devoid of any light. He had made up his mind, and what he was going to do was far worse than they could even imagine.

"Father, I can't bring you all with me, but you five should come and give the order for the others to retreat until I secure the area," Aion declared. "I will destroy their other bases and then head to their country and finish things for good."

Lexus just nodded once and then climbed onto the earth's platform. He was the leader there, but Henri was the one who had to give the order to the soldiers to retreat.

They flew in silence for another hour before they reached the nearest fortress. The place already had some rooms ready to treat injured people. Still, since it was a fortress, it wasn't all that comfortable, and pretty much everything was made out of stones.

The people there frowned when they saw the people that they had to rescue simply appearing out of nowhere, but they didn't make a commotion since the mood was quite dark. Once they reached the rooms, Aion used his magic to make them lie on the beds.

"I can't do that now, but I will be able to restore their bodies soon," Aion declared as if it was a matter of fact. "I won't be able to make them forget what they endured, but I can do that, at least. Can you make them sleep for a week? That should give me enough time."

"Are you sure?" Henri asked, visibly surprised. "We can use some medicine to do that, and it will help them recover their vitality faster, but…"

"Yeah, I can do that… just wait a few days," Aion said and then turned around.

"... Aion," Lexus said while looking at his unconscious daughters and then crying for the first time in front of his sons. "Thank you for rescuing them. I trust you that you will make them regret this, but… while I want to tell you to kill them all, don't do that. Most people probably aren't aware or would agree with what the people in power did to them."

"Leave it to me, Father," Aion declared.
