The monster crossed two hundred meters in four seconds Despite its massive size. Seris and Sauros used their weapons several times, but the creature jumped to the sides and dodged them while zigzagging.

The beast jumped toward them when it was thirty meters away… or at least it tried to jump. When Aion saw the legs tensing, he used earth magic and made some spikes emerge from the ground and hit the creature in several spots. He didn't hold back and tried to impale the monster in several spots, but the magic only made the monster bleed… still, it stopped its moves.

"This should make things easier for you guys to aim," Aion said.

The creature tried to free itself, even while Seris and Sauros hit its head three times each with their weapons… that thing sure had a lot of endurance to be able to endure the attacks of a mini rail gun.

You obtained 400 experience points.

"Four hundred despite the fact that I didn't do most of the work…" Aion thought. "These things sure are tough."

"I have never heard of this type of monster… but I heard of some that had claws and fangs like these. They disappeared more than one thousand years ago," Sauros said.

"I thought labyrinths used to lure monsters and trap them inside in order to make them reproduce," Aion said. "This dungeon can also summon some of them. They did the same with the other species… but the dungeon can do that after analyzing the monsters it has captured, right? How this labyrinth captured a monster that disappeared way before it appeared?"

"That is a good question…" Sauros replied.

"I know that is a good question… that is why I am asking…" Aion said and then sighed.

In any case, Aion made his start to absorb the creature, and he was helping to get a lot of valuable items since the creature was big and strong. In the end, they got some bones, fur, meat, gem and crystal fangs, and claws… it didn't seem like the claws could be reforged, but they should be able to become short swords or spears.

The group began to move again, and after just one minute, another monster showed up, which was itching to devour them. This time, Aion took matters into his own hands, and while the beast was approaching, he created a fireball and used the same trick he had just learned. He added several layers of them before firing at the enemy.

Several explosions happened upon impact, and they completely stopped the monster's advance. Still, its face had been half burned, and the creature didn't die. Seris and Sauros finished the creature off, though.

"I guess fireballs can only do this much," Aion thought.

Aion had planned to do that the next time he had the chance to train, but he was glad that the theory worked. Now, he just had to apply the same thing with the other elements.

"Let's move on," Aion said and then created an earth platform.

"Are you sure that you won't need the extra mana here?" Sauros asked.

"I will be fine. Rather than that, you guys are the ones who will need more mana since we won't be able to have a proper rest until we reach the final part of the labyrinth," Aion said. "You guys should keep meditating most of the time. I will inform you when the monsters show up."

If the worst comes to the worst, Aion still has his death knights. Their strength and the strength of these monsters should be on the same level, but if Aion summons all of them, he should be able to recover some extra mana while they fight…

In any case, while Aion had an easy time creating a spell with multiple layers before, things got harder when he tried to do the same with the other elements. With ice and earth, they aren't that easy to mix, even with the same element… As for wind, Aion managed to get a similar result. In fact, he also managed to make them work at the same time… Aion fired a blast of fire that became even larger and more powerful when he used wind magic.

When Aion created a wind sphere and then surrounded it with flames before firing, a blast in a large area happened and burned the head of the target. Aion was getting better at that…

Meanwhile, Seris and Sauros were looking at him in amazement. He wasn't doing much, but it was damn impressive… it felt like Aion was trying to reach the level of the gods…

In any case, as expected, the group had to stop to rest after moving for just one hour. Aion had used three times more mana than usual, so it felt like he truly would need to summon his death knights. When that happened for the third time, Aion made his choice.

"I guess this is enough," Aion said. "It is time to stop with the sandbagging."

"Wait, wait!" Sauros said. "Let me do my thing first."

"Why? You don't even know what I am going to do." Aion said while frowning.

"Well, I do know that you are crazily powerful for your age, and just to be safe, you shouldn't reveal all of your cards, even to us," Sauros said.

"Why?" Aion asked. "Are you telling me that there is a chance that you will reveal what I can do to others?"

"Not voluntarily, yes," Sauros explained. "There are people out there that can read minds and manipulate others. It will be better if you keep your skills as a secret even from us."

That was way too suspicious, and Aion couldn't let that thing go... he had to press for more answers until he understood everything about what Sauros was talking.

"Still, your caution seems weird… it isn't like many people know that I know your group," Aion said. "What are you hiding?"
