The Sacred Ruins

Chapter 682 - Chu Feng Takes Responsibility

Panda Novel

The more the little Daoist priest mulled it over the more it didn’t feel right. If they made him grow up on dog’s milk, then wouldn’t that make him… the son of a b*tch?

Furthermore, it wouldn’t be just in name!

In the end, he cried out and said, “Don’t bully me. I am still deeply sorrowful but I solemnly declare I’ll fight to the death with you. Either the fish dies or the net splits and we’ll both be done for. I’ll stake everything!”

In addition, he added, “Dad, where are you?!”

On a dead planet far away by the edge of the Xilin stars, Chu Feng sneezed at once. He was rather suspicious; recently he had been behaving like a devil, suppressing his enemies. Who was cursing at him behind his back?

Afterward, he couldn’t care less about it. Lately, he had chopped up geniuses on this dead planet as well as the divine riot seas, so to him, it was merely a trifle.

“How come I’m feeling as though I’m further and further along the path of becoming a devil?” he mumbled.

However, he didn’t feel a single bit remorseful when the heroes and old geniuses he had slain came to mind. He thought they deserved to be murdered.

“Is it done?!”

Uncle Ming seemed rather moved. He went ahead to welcome Chu Feng, asking him of the outcomes of his trip as he had been very haste. Chu Feng had returned into the starry skies after less than a day had passed.

Young Girl Xi laughed and said, “Surely you didn’t come fleeing back with your tail between your legs? Ah, my bad. You’ve already entered into the cloudeater realm. Your aura is so vigorous?!” She was quite shocked.

Chu Feng didn’t hide anything in front of his friends. His energy levels after his promotion were strong and intense, and even his hair was glowing with a sparkling luster.

“We’re successful!” Chu Feng smiled and nodded his head.

“Go, we have to leave first!”

Using the Heavenly Umbrella, Uncle Ming had been concealing the secret so that the saints on the moon outside the dead planet had no idea what was happening. They were unresponsive until the three had fled far away.

“Mn, you guys wait until I get back. I’ll give them a bloody lesson!”

Far away from the Xilin planet, they came to somewhere in the depths of the universe. Uncle Ming was full of murderous spirit as he looked at who Chu Feng had saved.

Uncle Ming was heartbroken. These people, who had been brought up confined had good bones, but they were all crippled from their upbringing. Each and every one of them was like a walking corpse, though there was a brilliance in the eyes of the two children.

It would take at least a couple years time if these people wanted to be rehabilitated. In fact, some were completely ruined for the rest of their lives.

“How tragic,” Xi sighed lightly.

As Uncle Ming left, he took these people away too. First, he intended to help them settle upon an uncivilized planet on the edge of the universe. He needed to find a Pure Land away from worldly affairs.

“Take it easy, Uncle Ming!” Chu Feng reminded him.

Afterward, he began to practice in order to further comprehend the advantages of the cloudeater realm.

“Let’s go into the sun!” Young Girl Xi proposed.

“Ok!” Chu Feng had the same idea too. Since entering into the cloudepter realm he could assimilate energy of a higher grade, such as the day’s/daylight’s purple qi.

The so-called Eastern Purple Mist was formed by the first drops of the morning dew, the first strands of vapor in the air collected by many. Yet now Chu Feng was going to go into the sun and draw it out directly.

The average person wouldn’t have dared to do such a thing because this kind of high-quality purple-colored energy was extremely concentrated and overbearing.

“The people from back then were really not fooling me; cloudeaters really can eat qi!”

Chu Feng exclaimed. As he neared the sun he began to take in the multi-colored radiance and swallow the smoke. This was the purest form of energy particles and one could fast on it.

His whole body had turned into a huge ball of fire when he entered into the sun. Enshrouded within the bundle of light and mist, he was sparkling as he breathed in the new air.

While he was doing so the little millstone inside his body was turning around frantically. It was helping Chu Feng by further purifying the air to refine it into the energy’s essence.

Before too long Chu Feng’s mouth and nose were filled completely with the purple qi. Using his breathing technique he swallowed the dense purple qi, which was surging and bubbling, into his body. After condensing it, it came together to form a bright ball. It looked like a purple-gold pill containing explosive strength.

One could imagine that now Chu Feng could kill people with a casual puff of air as though it were a blade. This was the power of a cloudeater and the power he had access had increased.

“The series of immortal legends and divine folklore do indeed have a basis. Would enacting a breathing technique to its extreme make me a god in the eyes of mortals?”

Chu Feng muttered to himself.

Then he found it rather unbearable. The purple qi within the sun was too vigorous. The dense qi was circulating and flooding his limbs and bones. His skin was about to break open as if it was going to explode.

“Consuming the six qis and drinking up the evening mist while washing one’s Yang qi and sucking in the morning mist.” Chu Feng said to himself, feeling reasonable.

The people from the ancient times chose to respire during the early morning and had sat welcoming the morning mist. This was rather “scientific” as the energy was too ferocious at other times. Those who had only just entered this orthodox couldn’t endure such a thing.

And those entering the sun directly were just looking for death. It was impossible if one wasn’t a great cultivator!

At the present time, Chu Feng could be considered as a great cultivator relative to a certain period of decline on Earth.

After a stretch of practicing Chu Feng took leave from the sun. Then he chose to take in the stars from the skies. This was fairly mild, unlike the potency within the sun.

However as Xi saw it, its Yin qi was thick. This was exactly what spirits favored. And so she set her heart on hiding within the sun to keep herself warm as she didn’t like the cold outside.

Chu Feng connected with the Yellow Ox through code and accidentally discovered a bandage tied on one of the Black Yak’s arms. He hadn’t expected him to be wounded!

Immediately he was apprehensive and inquired what had happened.

“It’s nothing. It’s just a wound from fighting to the death with that group of descenders who had come to Earth. It’s not serious. We’re going to find them and take our revenge later!”

Only then could Chu Feng feel relieved. Lately, driving the large rotten ship, they had battled against many experts so it was inevitable that they would lose out sometimes.

Two days later a message broke out and it shook the starry seas. The dark prison located on top of a dead planet among the Xilin stars had been blown up, releasing a group of extremely vicious prisoners!

“How could this be? The universe’s dark prison is made using the strongest materials. Generally speaking, even a saint wouldn’t be able to break it open. How did it get struck open?”

“Heavens! It’s going to be troublesome now that the most terrifying criminals have escaped!”

“Precisely speaking, the Xilin clan are in big trouble. That was a dark prison entrusted to them and many felons imprisoned inside were sent in by them. I suppose their heads are swimming now that someone has helped them out.”

This was major news with a great impact. The effects of the universe’s dark prison being breached were drastically disastrous and the evolvers in its surroundings grew anxious.

Without a doubt, this was the doings of Uncle Ming. He held Xi’s Heavenly Umbrella and had forcefully broken into a corner of the dark prison to release the old freaks.

However, Uncle Ming hadn’t gone to meet with them. He had left quietly, doing his good deed anonymously.

Of course, he had used the Heavenly Umbrella to kill a Xilin saint before he left. The saint had rushed down from the moon but was beaten til his body and soul were completely destroyed.

The other two saints were startled and furious. They didn’t have the chance to react before the prisoners stormed out of the universe’s dark prison with their eyes set on the two people.

The two lamented. Even though they were rather powerful, they couldn’t escape. They were torn into pieces after being attacked from all sides.

“Damn you Xilin clan! Originally, I was only at odds with one of the saints from your clan, but you framed me up and locked me inside the universe’s dark prison. You questioned me using all sorts of torture methods. From here onwards I’ll fight to my last gasp!”

“Haha, I’m finally free! Three hundred years later I see the light again. Although my body has weakened and my cultivation has fallen due to being corroded by the valor here, I will recover one day. You Xilin clan should tremble. Just wait, I’ll come back later and torment you!”

There was chaos within the starry skies while the Xilin clan were feeling the pressure. They were worried sick as this was such a calamity. The felons would be a massive threat to their descendants no matter how many had escaped.

Amongst them were the universe’s true criminals as well as some who they had framed. One could well imagine what would happen now that they escaped.

This matter was too bad. Wei Xilin, the Xilin clan’s greatest expert and a heavenly-illuminating legion commander, was disturbed and came out of seclusion. The first thing he did was go over there in a rush.

Under his boundless and immeasurable powers, he deduced where some had run off to. He violently captured them back, even those who were at the levels of a saint.

However, a fairly large amount of people still managed to flee. After all Wei Xilin was only someone who had reached a high level of evolution. He wasn’t an omnipotent god.

“What an eventful period. Who did this?” Some from the Xilin clan snarled in incomparable fury. They would most definitely face revenge from the group of criminals following this.

Chu Feng sighed. The Xilin clan would probably not get any peace for a long time from Uncle Ming’s move. They would be constantly defending against the old prisoners’ invasion.

Very soon, the Xilin clan had managed to surmise that Uncle Ming had done this through the traces and clues. They offered a bounty for him across the entire universe. This increased the price on Uncle Ming’s head by ten times and more!

Then the Xilin clan lost their control again. This was because after thoroughly searching through the dead planet they had discovered that all of their geniuses had died. All of their bodies are souls were completely ruined and there wasn’t even a trace of their flesh left.

“Chang Ming, you are sick and demented to have ambushed my clan’s younger generation like this. Don’t blame us for being heartless and merciless when we wildly retaliate!” One of the saints from the Xilin clan bawled out.

This was due to there were two of his descendants among the geniuses who had died. He had regarded them as his legacy descendants.

Wei Heng also wore a gloomy expression. Wei Changhe, who he had thought highly of, was killed too and had an incredibly tragic death.

“I wouldn’t do such a thing!” Uncle Ming said.

After that Chu Feng appeared. His body was making pi-pa sounds as he had swallow a lot of energy particles. His joints were moving and he grew taller. Then his face was no longer young and soft. He was forcefully altering his appearance to reinstate his looks from when he was twenty-odd years old.

He was utilizing this chance to test his own domain techniques. Lately, he had been researching to see if he could change the “landscaping of a human”.

As a matter of fact, the results were rather impressive. After driving more and more energy into his body he could adjust his body. He was no longer youthful and resembled what he looked like previously.

Then Chu Feng proclaimed that he would take responsibility for the elimination of all of the Xilin geniuses. His words made many bristle with anger.

“I @#Y…” People were stupefied.

Very soon the universe was impassioned.

Many within the Xilin clan couldn’t restrain their anger and were almost infuriated into a frenzy. Chu Feng’s gentle and light words were like that of a terrorist’s. He had taken the blame with a simple sentence and it was simply a provocation.

“Chu Feng, I’m going to put out your entire clan!” Anger was torrenting through the Xilin clan as they felt incomparably aggrieved.

Yet the younger generation was feeling downcast and completely shocked.

Nevermind that Chu Feng had killed their divine sons before, this time he’d even murdered some of their elder geniuses. Their generation were completely battered from fighting!

Undoubtedly, this generation of the Xilin clan was no longer a match for Chu Feng. The talented had been wiped clean, and their top-notch geniuses were killed single-handedly.

Chu Feng showed up at another part of the starry realms where the interstellar network used was a different one. Meanwhilst he also switched to a different photon computer to connect with Yellow Ox and the others.

“Haha, that was a good kill brother. What a delight!” The black yak laughed with the corners of his mouth drawn back.

However, Chu Feng found it difficult to laugh. He noticed that the black yak was grimacing. Not only was there bandages on his arm, but there was also a dreadful wound on his chest this time where he had been stricken!

In addition one of his horns had snapped off. The situation was rather dire!

“Ol’ Black, are you okat?!” Chu Feng was worried.

Then he caught sight of Yellow Ox’s golden hair with blood on it. His gentle face seemed rather pale and there were obvious scars on his body. His body had been assaulted and had almost split up into pieces.

Furthermore, one of the Ouyang toad’s eyes had almost been destroyed. The membrane was ruptured and it was full of blood. One of his forelimbs was drooping and lacking in strength as it was already deformed. It was rather tragic.

At the same time Chu Feng noticed the old donkey paralyzed on top of the great rotten ship. Bloodstained, he was practically a pool of mud.

“What happened to you?” Chu Feng’s countenance thoroughly shifted. To his surprise everyone was heavily injured.

Ouyang Feng voice was full of hatred. “Damnit, we were in a fierce battle with some others. Both sides suffered greatly but in the end we were ambushed by the Innocuous Divine Physique. That wretched Earth’s true one, I wish I could skin him!”

In an instant, Chu Feng was seething in anger. It was Zhou Shang again, the so-called Earth’s true one. What a thankless wretch. Once again, he had attacked the native evolvers.

“Wait until I return to Earth. I’ll cut his flesh off!” Chu Feng gritted his teeth and was desperate to rush back there immediately.

The black yak said, “Brother, you have important things to deal with now. There’s no need to come back. No hurry here, we’ll settle the scores with him next time. But this person is incredibly insidious. This isn’t the first time he has attacked us. Last time, I broke my arm because he had suddenly charged at us.”

“I happen to want to have a walk around. I need a way to get a gold invitation, so I’ll come back and settle matters with them!” Chu Feng’s heart was set.
