3029 She Was the Only One Missing

Han Zhuoling was indeed rather tired. It was rare for him to not get up.

"What do you two eat for breakfast?" Han Zhuoling asked groggily with his eyes half-closed.

While changing her clothes, Shi Xiaoya said, "Just something simple. Milk, coffee, bread, salad."

Han Zhuoling turned his body to face Shi Xiaoya. "I'll speak with the hotel and have them let you two have access to the hotel's kitchen in the early hours of the morning. I'll also find someone to make breakfast for you both."

"There's no need for that." Shi Xiaoya finished changing her clothes and then went to the bathroom to wash up.

After quickly tidying up, she came back out and said to Han Zhuoling, "Because the schedule's truly too tight, even Zhiqing has to quickly fill her stomach in the car on the way to the shoot. The moment we get there, we have to start making preparations immediately.

"I have to do the makeup for the actors without delay. After that, Zhiqing and the other actors have to refrain from eating as much as possible in order to maintain the makeup on their faces," Shi Xiaoya explained. "Of course, there will be a rest period in the middle. They will undoubtedly eat a bit of food, relax for a bit, and rest for a while. Then they'll also get their makeup touched up and do whatever else needs to be done."

Shi Xiaoya said with a smile, "In any case, we're really too busy in the morning. There's truly no time for us to have a proper breakfast."

Han Zhuoling replied, "You repeatedly nag me to eat proper meals, yet over here, you can't even eat a decent breakfast."

"That's not true. There's milk, coffee, bread, and salad. It's a balanced and nutritional meal. Eating something simple in the morning is actually pretty good," Shi Xiaoya said. "If even I am able to eat all of my three meals on time, you can do it too."

Han Zhuoling let out a laugh and said, "Alright. I promise you I'll do it."

After packing her things, Shi Xiaoya said, "I'm going now. I have to join the crew by half-past five."

While walking over to Han Zhuoling, Shi Xiaoya asked, "What time are you leaving?"

Han Zhuoling looked at the time. "Probably at seven. I'll get to the company before nine."

Although he said yesterday that it would be fine for him to leave a bit later, he still wanted to do his best to arrive at the company on time.

He would only rest more when he was truly too tired and unable to hold out anymore.

Han Zhuoling felt that although he would not be able to get to the company as early as before, he could still at least arrive on time during this period.

"Then you should hurry up and go back to sleep for a while," Shi Xiaoya said. She lowered her head and gave Han Zhuoling a kiss on the lips. "I'll be going first."

Han Zhuoling squeezed her hand and said, "Okay. I'll come back here after work."

They were at a hotel, and it really could not be considered their home at all.

It was like they had moved their home over here.
