She had considered her dealings with the Ji family completely done and dusted. But now it seems… she was really too naïve.

Linghe looked slightly taken back. He hesitated before continuing. “It’s the Ji family’s Eldest Mistress who had arrived not too long ago… Yichen opened the door and didn’t ask much. Hearing that she was looking for you, he just let her in. She is now sitting in the big hall.”
