"I can't believe Bai Jun is so shameless as I show off right after coming out from the prison? Shouldn't she keep a low profile now?"

"You are already said she was shameless, so how can she keep a low profile?"

"But showing off immediately she left the prison gates, is too much, she is really very shameless!"

During lunch breaks, Jia Li was absent when her colleagues were talking about Bai Jun, she had gone to have lunch with Fu Hua in his office.

"I have ever seen such a bold thief in my life." One of them said with disgust.

"It looks like she has forgotten the reason she was sent to the prison in the first place." Another said.

"I love her confidence and I'm not surprised by it." Marié said with a look of indifference.

The rest glanced at her with a big frown on their faces. "What do you mean?" Linda asked.

"If she acts weak, she will be cursed at and more so, she will be depressed, so it's better for her to act shamelessly while not caring about the curses laid on her." Marié said.

"Marié whose side are you on?. One of them asked angrily as she couldn't believe her words would show support to Bai Jun's actions.

"Why do you look like you're about to swallow me up?" Marié inquired. "I was only making a logical deduction and I'm not supporting anybody."

"Actually, the right thing to do whether she means it or not is to make a public apology to everybody she offended 2 years ago." A male colleague said.

One of them scoffed and asked, "Does it look like we should be expecting one?"

"It's obvious that thought has never crossed her mind, so how can we be expecting an apology from her?" Linda said.

"Nobody should expect that confident thief to change or make an apology."

Linda glanced at her wristwatch before reminding them, "We have 5 minutes left to return to our desk."

With that, all of them stopped talking and began to rush their food.

"Do you have anything to say about Bai Jun being released from the prison today?" Fu Hua asked Jia Li who was busy filling her stomach with food.

Jia Li was surprised by the question as she didn't know if it was necessary to know her thoughts concerning an irrelevant matter.

"Is it important?" She asked with a questionable gaze.

"Mmmm..." Fu Hua nodded with an interesting gaze on her.

Jia Li first swallowed the food in her mouth before speaking, "Honestly, I am not happy with her return as it spells trouble but I will be at peace if she does her thing and does not cause trouble for our family."

Fu Hua smiled and said to her, "I like how honest you were about this matter. I asked Zimo to find someone to follow her, do you want me to go straight to the point and get rid of her?"

"Get rid of her? Do you mean killing her?" Jia Li asked wide-eyed. If that was what Fu Hua meant, then she didn't want that.

Fu Hua nodded in response and even added, "It would be good to get rid of her for once, rather than being a nuisance in our sight."

"No, you can't kill someone. Instead, just let her be." Jia Li said with a big frown.

Since his wife rejected that idea without thinking about it, Fu Hua brought up another idea. "Then how about we send her away from this country."

"You mean sending her to another country?" Jia Li asked.

"Yes." Fu Hua replied.

"Will you do that with your money?" Jia Li asked.

"Mmm." Fu Hua said as he picked some side-dishes with chopsticks and placed them inside her bowl.

Jia Li watched him for a short while before saying, "If you are going to waste your money on her, then don't do it."

Fu Hua stopped munching on his food and glanced at her in surprise. "Is this my wife being jealous?"

Jia Li glanced at him and asked with furrowed brows, "How can I be jealous, I just don't want you to spend your money to make her leave this country, because it's not worth it. She should be the one spending her money to run away."

"I see, so you are protecting my money and what I do with it?" Fu Hua asked with a smile.

"I am your wife and it is only right that I help you to be on the lookout." Jia Li replied as a slight smile finally showed on her face.

Fu Hua picked a piece of beef and sent it to her mouth. "What should I reward you with now? Do you want to go on a weekend trip with your friends, maybe a boat cruise?"

"Really?" Jia Li asked, a little excitedly. It has been years since she last got together with her friends and enjoyed the time alone. It was just once that she went on a picnic with her friends back when she was still living in her hometown, and she had fun, so it will be nice if that can happen again.

"Why not? There will be no me or Jasmine to disturb you." Fu Hua said with a smile.

Jia Li chuckled softly and said to him, "I love this part. I just can't wait to have fun without the two of you."

"But you will miss us." Fu Hua said with full confidence. There was a knowing smile playing on his lips as he said that.

"Till that time comes." Jia Li replied but Fu Hua said immediately, "No that time won't come until I'm sure you would miss us."

Jia Li covered her lips as she laughed hysterically. "You are so petty! I thought you wanted to reward me, now you're talking about me missing you and Jasmine before you can reward me. Don't you think that's a little unfair with your act of shamelessness?"

"That's fair enough. Jasmine and I can't be the only one missing you when you go out to have fun with your friends for a few days." Fu Hua said.

He has to get something in return for making him leave her sight on a weekend.
