FangSu was so angry when she found out that her mother went to the Bai Mansion to warn them. Bai Jun spoke in a way that will bring pity for her.

She made it seem like she had to act that way because of Fu Hee.

"... I don't want troubles, I will be in trouble if I'm seen with you. Please go back home when you're done shopping." Bai Jun said as she wiped a fake tear from the corner of her eyes.

FangSu was more furious than ever. She couldn't believe her mother was already following in the footsteps of her family and treated her best friend that way because of the woman that snatched her brother from her and her best friend.

"Bai Jun I'm so sorry for flaring up when I didn't know what happened. I'm sorry for all you went through, but you can't end our friendship because of this. I will try to put an end to this matter, but please you have to stop avoiding me." FangSu said in a guilty tone.

Bai Jun smiled inwardly and, but revealed a helpless expression. She held FangSu's hands and said to her, "It's not your fault that your family doesn't want us to remain friends, stop apologizing."

FangSu felt pained when she was reminded that her family was responsible for everything. She squeezed Bai Jun's hands and promised to do something about the matter.

"... please answer my calls from now on," FangSu said to her.

"I can't do that. If anyone in my family finds out about this, my grandmother and father won't spare me." Bai Jun pleaded with a scared tone.

FangSu shut her eyes and opened them again. She heaved a sigh before saying to her, "At least reply to my texts, and we can chat. I have to leave now, I will talk to you later."

After FangSu left, Bai Jun let out a chuckle. She laughed till she was tired, then she glanced at herself in the mirror and wiped the fake tears from her eyes.

"Things would be more fun if there is an internal fight in the Fu family, then no one will pay attention to me." Bai Jun said to herself in the mirror.

She didn't feel sad that she just toiled with her best friend's emotions. She was glad because she felt that the Fu family had hurt her a lot, so it wouldn't be bad if there was a little problem after a few days of celebration.

Bai Jun didn't care that she left someone behind, she took her time before walking away.

Going back to the mall, she gave a fake smile to her supposed friend and left after saying a few words to her.

FangSu had no idea that Bai Jun saw her before she did, and pretended to be good friends with the lady that greeted her when she walked into the mall.

FangSu was completely fooled by her.

When FangSu got home, she was happy to know her mother was in her bedroom, and her father had just stepped out. She quickly made her way to their bedroom to confront her mother.

Fu Hee was surprised when FangSu walked into her bedroom without the simplest courtesy of knocking on the door.

"Have you lost your manners?." Fu Hee asked with a frown.

"Of course I have lost my manners! Do you expect me to still keep them after finding out you went to the Bai family to warn them against interacting with me?!." FangSu asked angrily. She was so furious that she didn't care about the tone she was using on her mother.

"I see! Who did you meet today, Bai Jun or Bai Fen?." Fu Hee asked in a relaxed tone as she continued to sit there with a magazine in her hand.

"So it's true? Mum, why did you do that?! Why do you want me to cut of thighs with my best friend, why are you doing this to me?!." FangSu asked in an angry tone as her eyes became teary.

"Seeing how angry you are, I guess that whoever you met, must not have told you the truth. Don't you want to know the full details of what happened that day?!." Fu Hee asked in a carefree tone.

"Why should I listen to you! I don't trust you anymore! I won't listen to you tarnish my friend's name so you can make me stay away from her, it won't happen!." FangSu said with a fierce gaze.

Even if everyone in the family betrayed her, her mother was the last person she thought would ever do something like that, but it looks like she was wrong. Her mother clearly does not care about her anymore.

"When did I say I was going to explain anything to you? I didn't say that." Fu Hee said with a calm gaze on her.

Bai Jun was a little taken aback. She remembered that her mother didn't say anything like that, but it was normal for her to think she wanted to explain the encounter that day.

"If you are not explaining, how do you want to show me what happened that day?!." FangSu demanded as she gestured with her hands. Her tone was still as heavy as earlier.

Fu Hee smiled and waved her phone 📱. "Whoever that lied to you, did not know that I recorded everything that happened that day if not, they would not have dared to lie to you. Later you have to tell me who that person is, so I can thank her for giving me the perfect opportunity to show you this."

"You recorded?." FangSu asked with a confused facial expression.

"Of course I did. I wanted to keep a piece of evidence to prove to you that you made a huge mistake by trusting Bai Jun and making her your friend." Fu Hee said to her.

FangSu shook her head and said, "I still don't believe a word you say till I see your evidence."

"Fine! I know you will only learn when you don't have any other option, so I had to keep this and wait for the right opportunity, and who knew the Bai family would present an opportunity for me. I will let you listen to our conversation that day!" Fu Hee said and searched her phone for the recording she took that day. When she found it, she smiled and played it after increasing the volume of her phone.
