The Herb King



Aethelwolf briefly chatted with his mother about the matters of the school and other random topics. 

"Did Olivia cause trouble to you guys?" Aethelwolf suddenly asked. Initially, Aethelwolf didn't want to enroll Olivia in the school since there was a high chance that she would bully the children. However, after careful consideration, he decided to enroll her in the school. The Mystic Arcana Institute of Magic could no longer teach her since her level was already way above her peers. He thought that it was better to let her learn about manners and right conduct in the children's school. 

Hearing this, Melissa chuckled before lightly shaking her head. "Olivia has been very obedient since school started. At first, she had a hard time interacting with the other kids, but after more than a week, she already made many friends. She even created her own little gang." While saying this, Melissa couldn't help but recall the little girl who was leading a bunch of little kids. 

Aethelwolf couldn't help but sigh in relief upon hearing this. "That's good. I thought she would cause trouble again." He muttered helplessly. 

They chatted for another thirty minutes before Aethelwolf bid farewell. 

Aethelwolf, Samira, and Julie Irish went back to the castle after touring around the territory for the whole day. 

On the terrace of the castle, Aethelwolf sighed emotionally as he overlooked the lively Barden Territory. "I didn't expect the territory to develop so well in the last few months." He watched the well-lit streets of the territory. There were already numerous lamp posts powered by Spirit Crystals scattered throughout the territory. People of all ages could be seen walking around the streets with smiles on their faces. 

"Because of you, we managed to progress at a rapid pace. I believe our technology has already surpassed even that of the big empires." Samira muttered with a proud smile. She had witnessed the fast growth of the Barden Territory and it filled her with boundless happiness and joy. 

Julie Irish nodded her head in agreement. "Our military prowess also increased exponentially especially after those advanced weapons were given to the main army. At this moment, the territory is already an impregnable fortress." The might of the advanced weapons designed by Aethelwolf scared her. She had seen their power during the military demonstration done by Ramiel's men. The devastating might of those weapons was still fresh in her mind. 

"Enough about that. How about we talk of something else?" Aethelwolf flashed a toothy grin as he hugged the waist of both ladies. His touch made them let out small sounds of surprise. 

"What evil thoughts are you thinking again?" Samira glared at him, but she didn't push him away. 

Julie Irish remained silent. Her cheeks blushed as she recalled the steamy night sessions that the three of them did together. 

"I'll let you know soon. Hehe." Aethelwolf grabbed their waist and dragged them inside the room. 

Soon, muffled moaning sounds could be heard inside the room.

In the Northern Region, Gozgel stared at the entrance underneath a crater. His face was filled with anticipation and excitement as he looked at the dark passage. Today, he received news that the other two Underworld Kings will emerge to the surface!

In the Underworld, there were three Underworld Kings including him. All three of them are Transcendent beings! 

Gozgel has been quietly increasing the size of his army in the past year, but he felt that it was still not enough to fight against the allied army. There were numerous experts on the Regalis Continent's side. Furthermore, there was also that annoying man who managed to fight equally against him. Without the support of another Transcendent being, their chance of winning was low. So when he heard that the two Underworld Kings would emerge on this day, he was ecstatic.

Suddenly, the ground trembled. 

Gozgel's eyes immediately shifted to the passage. His mouth then curled upwards when he felt the two familiar auras coming from the dark tunnel. 

Rumble! Rumble!

Soon, two giants stepped out of the passageway. One was a humanoid beast who has a head of a dragon and there was a pair of draconic wings on his back. This was Zorzoch, the Flame Underworld King! His power was even stronger than that of Gozgel. He was a mid stage Transcendent expert! 

The other one was only ten meters tall and he looked tiny compared to Gozgel and Zorzoch. He looked like a rat demon with aged facial features. His face was filled with wrinkles and dark spots. However, despite his seemingly weak image, no one dared to offend him for he was the strongest among the three Underworld Kings. He was known as the Evil Rat King, Semias! He was already close to becoming a late stage Transcendent expert!

More and more Underworlders emerged from the passageway. They were the soldiers of Zorzoch and Semias. 

"It's nice to see you again, Gozgel. You seem to have lost some weight." Zorzoch laughed as he landed in front of Gozgel. 

Gozgel noticed the mockery in the other party's words, but he ignored it. This was Zorzoch's personality. "Spare me your bullsh*t, Zorzoch." He then turned his gaze to Semias and smiled at him. "Semias, did the Ancient Lord ask you two to come here?"

Zorzoch snorted and refused to comment, while Semias nodded his head lightly. "The Ancient Lord heard of your predicament so he sent us here to support you. I'm just curious why you failed to take control of the Regalis Continent. There shouldn't be any Transcendent experts alive on their side so how come we heard that they have two." 

Gozgel's expression turned serious when he heard this. He shook his head and said. "There is only one Transcendent expert among them. In fact, you guys are very familiar with her." 

Zorzoch and Semias furrowed their eyebrows at his words. "What do you mean?" 

"It's Xymera, the ancestor of the Ancient Faries. I don't know how, but she managed to escape the seal casted by the Ancient Lord." Gozgel muttered.
