When Aethelwolf heard the terms of their bet, his lips curved into a smile. He didn't think that Einar could actually come up with such a well-thought-out plan. Although it seemed like Lark has the advantage, he didn't know that he had already walked into Einar's plot. The guy didn't even notice that something was amiss. 

Aethelwolf was already thinking about what kind of terms he would give to the Paramount Heaven Empire. Lark might be an idiot, but his strength was the real deal. His power would be useful against the Underworlders when the time comes. Furthermore, the Paramount Heaven Empire has more experts in the Heavenly Might Rankings other than him!

While Aethelwolf was thinking of the terms he would give to the Paramount Heaven Empire, the last stage of the Alchemy competition has already started. The remaining participants went up the stage with their cauldrons. 

"Look , Judy Kristel is actually using a Divine-Rated cauldron! Isn't this considered cheating? She would have the advantage against the other participants!" 

"Using a Divine-Rated cauldron is indeed too over the top. She doesn't even need to control her Pill Fire properly during the refinement. Her cauldron will do the adjusting by itself." 

The crowd chatted animatedly when they saw Judy Kristel carrying a cauldron with mysterious inscriptions. 

The other participants were shocked when they saw her cauldron. They were Alchemists so they identified it immediately. 

"Sir Omar, she is using a Divine-Rated cauldron! Isn't this against the rules?" One of the participants shouted in agitation. 

When the other participants heard his words, they also complained in low voices. Most of them only brought Refined-Rated and Unique-Rated cauldrons. 

Omar furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at the complaining participants. He raised his hand and everyone immediately shut their mouths. He was a Holy General so no one dared to disrespect him. "There are no rules stating that anyone is forbidden to use Divine-Rated cauldrons. Move to your positions and stop delaying the competition!" 

The participants grumbled in their hearts when they heard the old man's words, but since he had already spoken. They could only move to their positions while silently cursing Judy Kristel. 

Looking at the other participants, Judy smirked derisively. "A bunch of bumpkins who haven't seen the world!" 

In the spectator's seat, Aethelwolf frowned when he saw this scene. There was a huge difference between a Unique-Rated cauldron and a Divine-Rated cauldron. Even though he was confident about Christopher, he might not win against Judy who was in possession of a much superior cauldron. 

Thinking about this, Aethelwolf whispered something to Einar. "Tell Alec to come here." 

Einar nodded his head and immediately left to grab Alec. Soon, he came back with Alec following behind him. 

"King Aethelwolf, is there anything I can help you with?" Alec glanced at the man in front of him respectfully. 

Aethelwolf turned his head to Alec as he grabbed something from his storage space. After taking it out, he immediately attracted the attention of the people around him.

"Divine-Rated cauldron! You actually have something like that!" 

"That is indeed a Divine-Rated cauldron and it looks more imposing than the one Judy has. Even its aura is more overwhelming!" 

"Give this to Christopher and tell him that I will temporarily lend him my cauldron." Aethelwolf muttered as he casually threw the cauldron to Alec.

The young man felt horrified when he saw Aethelwolf throwing such a valuable item toward him. He didn't even seem to care whether it would drop to the ground! 

Alec opened his arms and he even used his world essence to prevent the cauldron from falling. After catching the cauldron, he heaved a sigh of relief and nodded his head. "I will deliver it to him right away!" 

"Wait!" Aethelwolf called out before he could leave.

"Is there something else, King Aethelwolf?" Alec stared at him in confusion.

"Tell Christopher that the cauldron will be rewarded to him if he wins the competition." Aethelwolf muttered in a calm voice, but his words shocked everyone who heard him. 

That was a Divine-Rated cauldron! And he was actually willing to reward it to someone in the younger generation? No one could believe their ears.

"A-Alright." Alec bowed his head and left excitedly. He couldn't wait to tell this news to Christopher.

Eliazar turned his gaze to Aethelwolf and shook his head helplessly. "Who would have thought that you're actually willing to give such a valuable item as a reward? I've never heard of someone more extravagant than you..." 

"It's just a cauldron." Aethelwolf muttered casually, but his words immediately silenced everyone. He was the only person who would say something like this. 

Aethelwolf ignored everyone's gazes. The cauldron was truly nothing to him. It was only one of his failed products. Although it was a Divine-Rated cauldron, it was the worse among the five cauldrons he had made. Giving it to a promising young Alchemist like Christopher was more ideal than leaving it in his storage space. 

Lark Whitmond who had witnessed and heard the entire conversation almost fell on his chair. 'That guy actually has a Divine-Rated cauldron? He even lent it without hesitation! Dammit! No wonder that old fart initiated a bet with me! They must have planned this from the start!' He cursed in his heart while glaring helplessly at Aethelwolf. 

At this moment, he knew that this Alchemy competition was already in the hands of the Leone Empire. A new powerhouse empire has arrived! 

Below the stage, Alec shouted Christopher's name.

"Alec, the competition is about to start, why are calling me?" Christopher frowned as he walked toward the edge of the stage. 

Omar saw everything, but he didn't say anything. He just stared at them with interest.

"King Aethelwolf asked me to give this to you. He said that if you win the Alchemy competition, this cauldron will be yours!" Alec said as he handed a cauldron to Christopher.

"Huh? This is?! This is a Divine-Rated cauldron!" Christopher exclaimed in shock.
