"But you didn't say it." Pepsi pouted.

"That's for your mummy." Sheng Yize put her back down. "Go watch TV with Mummy. The glutinous rice balls are almost ready."

Pepsi did as told. She turned around suddenly and said in a pitiful voice, "Papa, don't become a star!"

Sheng Yize was at a loss. What did becoming a star have anything to do with that?

He came out of the kitchen with the glutinous rice balls three minutes later, and An Xiaxia told him about the conversation between Cola and Pepsi just then. Sheng Yize saw the light right away. He then beckoned Cola to him with a finger.

Cola gingerly went over to him and saw his father smiling harmlessly at him. "Which do you prefer? Glutinous rice balls or Mummy's dumplings?"

Cola shuddered at the thought of An Xiaxia's dumplings from the other day and he apologized without hesitation. "Daddy, I'm sorry."

"Don't make up stories when Pepsi's around."

"Yes."

After the lecture, the family had dinner together.

Afterward, Cola and Pepsi were taken back to their room to rest. Pepsi had a falling out with Si Bai and the two kids barely talked to each other these days, which worried An Xiaxia a lot. However, Sheng Yize couldn't be any happier about it.

"Shit, I failed again! Crappy game! Such a waste of my time and money!" An Xiaxia's cheeks puffed out angrily. Sheng Yize casually took the phone from her hands, restarted the level, had a brief look, then began to tap quickly.

The whooshing sound of blocks being eliminated went on non-stop, and An Xiaxia watched with an open mouth.

"There. Done." Sheng Yize tossed the phone back to her.

He then went to take a shower.

When he came out, he found An Xiaxia stuck on the next level.

Seeing him, An Xiaxia said in grievance, "I'm stuck again!"
