Chapter 910: A New Day for the Store(End)

Joator found the murals showing different techniques for mace. His eyes turned sharp as he focused solely on them.

The feeling of extraordinariness he got from Mace's murals was several times higher than what he felt from other murals. But similar to his experience with those murals, the feeling lasted after sensing the increased extraordinariness.

Joator tried to look at other murals, but things remained the same. After Joator had spent more than ten minutes searching for what made these murals so extraordinary, he finally stopped since he was only wasting his time.

Joator then moved his eyes and focused on the pillars. There were twelve pillars in the room, and they had formed two circles, one larger and one smaller, covering half of the area of the outer circle.

Joator didn't even need to find which pillar correlated to the mace. His mind immediately conjured up the idea of mace's pillar being inside the inner circle when he thought of its location.

Joator was surprised at first, but soon his face turned calm. He felt that this sudden addition was nothing more than a cheap trick, given what he had observed in the store and what he had learned about Panagea.

Joator then went to the pillar since his enthusiasm for the weapon had grown after the murals. He soon found the pillar and the shelf attached to it.

There were four sections in it, and since Aakesh had already told Joator about it, he didn't need to think. Since Joator's cultivation had reached the late Divine Being, he could use the peak Lesser weapon.

Joator also knew this, so he extended his right hand and placed it inside the fourth section. The shelf's size didn't make sense for storing several maces, let alone partitions. But since the concept of space expansion wasn't hidden, no one focused much on it.

Not even a second had passed when Joator suddenly felt a physical item in his hands. Without wasting any time, Joator took it out. The next moment, a mace presented itself to him.

The mace looked to be made of dull, grey metal that seemed to be almost alive, with veins of glowing energy pulsing beneath its surface. It had a large, glowing crystal perched atop its head, which was covered in a series of intricate, swirling patterns and seemed to pulse with energy. A series of thin, flexible vines were wrapped around the handle to give the user a firm grip and enable easy use of the mace.

Joator nodded in appreciation since the mace felt heavy, and his intuition told him it was a good weapon. He then looked at the screen attached to it.

Joator read the details and didn't seem impressed with the materials used in its making, so he placed the mace back inside the shelf's fourth partition and began to look for another one.

Time flew by, and several minutes had passed.

Joator had seen tens of maces in that time. He had found several he liked, but he continued since none of them gave him the feeling that it was the perfect weapon for him.

Joator pushed his hand inside for the umpteenth time and soon took out another mace.

The mace was made of a deep, dark wood that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it. The head of the mace was carved into the shape of a fierce, snarling beast with glowing red eyes and sharp, metallic teeth. The handle was wrapped in a series of intricate, swirling runes that seemed to dance and shift as the mace was wielded.

Joator's heart skipped a beat as his eyes fell on the mace. At that moment, the feeling of satisfaction he had been longing for appeared.

Joator then looked at the blue screen attached to it. Even though he had made up his mind to buy the mace, he still wanted to see whether this choice was better or not.

[Item: Unnamed Mace

Grade: Peak Lesser

Requirement: Late and Peak Divine Being cultivation

Ability: A mace made of the Midnight Oak and one-millionth diluted blood of a Shadow Fiend.

Price; Seven hundred ordinary Sacred stones.]

The shock in Joator's heart only grew stronger after reading the detail on the screen. There wasn't much written on the screen, only the name of the materials. It was still enough for Joator.

The Midnight Oak was a rare material spread across the Sacred Dimension. It was mainly used in weapons due to its resilience. As for the Shadow Fiend, the less said, the better.

The Fiend race belonged to the Hell cluster, and they were on a similar footing as Demons in the Multiverse. Joator didn't even know what level the race of Shadow Fiend was, but his heart was ready to come out of his body due to the shock.

Finally, Joator's eyes fell on the price section, and they almost popped out after reading seven hundred ordinary Sacred stones.

It was true that Joator had a lot of money when compared with the people of Thorr City and the Fawkes Kingdom. But it didn't mean that he would throw it away.

In fact, the mace taken out by Joator was one of the three most expensive maces in the store at this grade, so if he waited and tried, he might get an even better and more expensive mace.

The shock over the high price only lasted for a second since the mace contained the blood of Shadow Fiend. It was only diluted, but still, it was of a high-level cultivator.

The mace had already won over Joator. The price failed to dim that feeling, so Joator decided to buy it.

Joator could sense a hint of discomfort when he handled the mace, so he hurriedly left the room to purchase it. For some reason, Joator knew that once the mace was his, the uncomfortable feeling would entirely disappear.

***

"You need to pay seven hundred ordinary Sacred stones," Aakesh announced as the details of the mace appeared in his mind.

"Store owner, do you have change for one Higher Sacred stone?" Joator asked since he didn't have seven hundred ordinary Sacred stones in total. He only had four hundred of them, while there were around eight thousand lesser Sacred stones.
