The First Store System

Chapter 344 - Shock

Chapter 344: Shock

After the man left, no new customers came for the next hour. Any customers who came already knew the details of the products and had arrived in the store earlier, so Aakesh had no need to do the introduction again.

Time flew by, and more hours passed.

Carla was currently standing in front of the store. She had heard from the duo. For the past few hours, she had been doing preparations for her stay here as she needed a place to live, now that she had found the source of her getting stronger without any fear of death and anyone finding out about her.

Since the Bisan Kingdom was only a low-level Kingdom, the price of the land here was nothing to even think about. She only had to spend a top Primal stone to buy a luxurious villa, spreading across several hundreds of meters. She could've gotten a bigger villa even cheaper, but since the villa was in the prime place and not very far from the store, she bought it.

"It's something expected," Carla mumbled, seeing her inability to see inside of the store, despite the door being completely open. It wasn't the first time she had come across something like it. Her father's room and the throne hall also had similar arrays set to do it.

She then took a step forward and entered the store. Even though the duo had told her that there were no empty portals left for today, she still arrived at the store as she couldn't control herself from checking out the store today.

As she entered, her eyes fell upon the chair and the blue-skinned man she had learned about from the duo, sitting on it.

She didn't immediately approach the store owner, but instead, she looked around the store, only to almost drop her jaw, as she noticed that as far as her eyes could see, the floor was made up of Ashamba.

"How could this be?" She couldn't help but exclaim in shock, seeing the endless amount of Ashamba.

Even her late father, a peak Heavenly Monarch, and an Emperor couldn't afford such an amount of Ashamba even if he were to sell the Empire his ancestors had built and were one of the top Empires of the continent.

He only had a limited amount of Ashamba, and that too wasn't his personal wealth. It was the property of the Empire and the past and the future Emperors. The amount of the bark of Ashamba, the Empire had was in the shape of armor, personally adorned by the Emperor when in war.

If her father had worn the armor and wasn't taken aback by the sudden actions of that organization, he wouldn't have died so easily.

'Calm down, Carla, someone who has a treasure like Panagea, this amount of Ashamba makes sense.' Carla thought. Thinking like this, her shock at seeing the amount of Ashamba wood finally calmed down, and her face hidden by the cloak returned to normal.

Her eyes then fell upon the rule board, not far from her. She then read all the rules. Since none of the rules were exploitative, she didn't find anything to worry about.

She then noticed the two open rooms. 'Portal Room' was written on one, while the other said 'Weapons Room'.

She also noticed a board put next to the portal room. Since the store owner didn't seem to mind her looking around the store, she took a step forward in the direction of the board.

The first line was the name of the product in bright golden letters. It was 'Samsara Samraat'. Below it was the price of entering the world of Panagea was written, which was the same as the duo had told her.

Since she was standing near the portal room, she couldn't stop herself from peeking inside.

After peeking, she witnessed the virtual portals, and she also noticed that all of them were grey, marking that they were taken.

"I'll enter tomorrow," Carla muttered, seeing the portals in the room. She then turned around, and instead of peeking through the next room, she approached the store owner.

Aakesh, sensing footsteps approaching him, opened his eyes and found the person coming toward him.

The person was covered in a cloak. The cloak wasn't ordinary but an Overlord-grade treasure. For Aakesh, it was nothing to talk about, so he easily pierced the cloak and found the being hidden in it.

If anyone were to see the girl behind her cloak, they would see a human girl, who still looked to be in her teen years. Aakesh saw through that disguise and saw the actual appearance of Carla.

Carla wasn't a human, but she belonged to the race, Avith.

Avith was a mid-tier race in the Primal dimension with similar strengths as the Human race. They have a similar body structure as humans, but unlike them, the Avith has only a single eye, black sclera, and silver iris. The eye was also the defining feature of the race as every Avith has the same color combination in their eye.

Since the race was nothing special, and there were quite a number of them in the Primal dimension like the humans, Aakesh didn't find much interest in the girl's identity.

"Hello, store owner," Carla, unaware that her actual appearance had been noticed, greeted Aakesh. Her tone was filled with respect, and there wasn't a hint of coldness.

Aakesh only nodded in response to her greetings and waited for the girl to ask the question first before he introduced the store products to her.

Carla didn't mind Aakesh's response to her respectful greetings. Instead, she thought it was the right thing to happen as someone who can have something like Panagea, and such a large quantity of Ashamba used for flooring was the top character of the Primal dimension. After entering the store, even the fear he had about her enemies finding her and the store giving her up disappeared. Even without talking to Aakesh, he had become a reverential figure in her heart.

"Store owner, what products does your store sell?" Carla then asked, maintaining the same respectful tone.

***

"Store owner, give me a supreme card," Carla requested Aakesh as it could come in handy in life-threatening situations.

She then took out a supreme Primal stone from her space ring and handed it to Aakesh.

Aakesh repeated the process he had gotten accustomed to, and soon, a silver card appeared in his hands.
