"Ugh….I am the worst…" Mao Mao hit his head as he looked down at Fen Wen who was really enjoying her sleep.

If it's like this he couldn't ask her why she faked illness just so she wouldn't deliver the food.

Mao Mao was silent after thinking about this. He didn't know why but his finger moved to touch Fen Wen's hair.

He had this sudden urge.

Mao Mao suddenly bent his neck and landed a soft kiss to Fen Wen's lock of hair very carefully and gently. The young man looked like he was admiring a fragile yet super precious treasure.

That look in his eyes was so gentle and loving that one would already know he became like Long Ao Zhen, head over heels for the one they loved.

Sadly the innocent boy still didn't realize this. As usual, Li Shi Ying's beasts all were dense such as Jiu Wei, Mao Mao, and the others. Especially the one who had to work under Long Ao Zhen.

They were too busy with work that their romantic life was so limited resulting to them being dense toward their own feeling. Maybe it happened because the one used in work was only their mind, not their heart.

"Good night, sleep tight, " Mao Mao slowly placed Fen Wen's flock of hair back to the bed as he whispered gently. His voice was a bit hoarse and deeper than before showing his growth to become an adult man in no time.

Just like that, Mao Mao left Fen Wen's room quietly and headed back to his office trying to finish his work as soon as he could.

The next day.

Fen Wen woke up and her stomach immediately grumbled. It even ached a bit as she didn't eat anything last night!

"Damn...I gotta eat!" Fen Wen spoke to herself as she clutched her pained stomach. The girl didn't bother to fix her appearance and just rushed to the kitchen to eat.

Only when she was full she went back to her room to prepare for her work but then once she was reminded of what she did last night, the girl paused combing her hair.

"Should I go…" Fen Wen bit her lips. She was still reluctant as she felt that Mao Mao was avoiding her. If he wanted that then why should she go there to serve him?

But that was her job...unless Mao Mao wanted to replace her with someone else, she still had to go. She couldn't use the same tactic to let others replaced her as Mao Mao might be suspicious of her.

"....hhhh…" Fen Wen sighed just by thinking that she had to see Mao Mao again. It pained her heart to see him when maybe, he didn't want to.

Still, out of her sense of responsibility, Fen Wen could only take a bath and dress up before going to Mao Mao's office at 8 a.m

At the same time, the young man was waiting for Fen Wen to come. He was worried that the girl would ask to be replaced by others, that she wanted to stop. That couldn't happen. He had to explain things first so she won't feel rejected!

Just as he thought so, there's a soft knock on the door followed by a familiar girl's voice, "Excuse me…" the voice sounded throughout the room.

Mao Mao who was writing flinched out of reflex. He immediately put down his brush and coughed lightly. The young man straightened his back as he dusted off his clothes trying to make it look smooth and neat.

The young man ever went as far as combing his hair using his finger making Fen Wen who was waiting outside anxious as hell.

'Why no one answered??' Fen Wen nervously thought and had just about to call out again when there's a loud voice coming from the inside.

"Yes, come in!" Mao Mao was half-shouting as he didn't realize he was actually too happy to see Fen Wen again. Well, one could see how happy he was just by looking at that grin on his face.

Getting a response, Fen Wen silently sighed in relief. She thought that Mao Mao was angry because last night incident but he might believe that she was indeed sick!

Thus with this thought, Fen Wen slides open the door, "Excuse me…" she slowly entered the room with a stiff smile on her face.

Her hair which was tied in a high ponytail swayed as she walked closer to Mao Mao's office desk. The girl gulped, her heart beats faster the closer she was to Mao Mao's desk.

Fen Wen stopped once she's a meter away and without waiting, Mao Mao abruptly stood up, startling the girl.
