“Do you have something prepared for the escaping Merlin?” Wu Meng asked as she entered Wang Hao’s house. “With your type of personality, letting an enemy escape was unnatural for you.”

“Don’t try asking me now.” Wang Hao said as he grabbed the orb in front of him. “I have more important things to worry now, like this lady.”

Wang Hao grinned as he sloshed the orb in front of him, managing to infuriate the person trapped inside it.

“What… is that thing?” Wu Meng asked as she stared warily at the silver lady inside the orb. “Maybe its just me, but she seems hellbent on killing you.”

“That is what I want to know too.” Wang Hao grimly said as he gave a leveled stare to Wu Meng.

“Oh, so you want me to not listen to your conversation? Hmph, suit yourself then. I am only interested in you helping me go back to the Dreamworld after all.” After saying these words, Wu Meng went outside Wang Hao’s house, probably to wander the village.

“Now then…” Upon seeing that Wu Meng was outside already, Wang Hao waved his hands, forming an energy barrier that covered his house, which prevented anyone from overhearing his conversation.

As for Jorm, Wang Hao personally put him to sleep, and as an added precaution, he also placed Jorm in his storage.

It was lucky for Wang Hao that Jorm allowed himself to be placed in the storage.

Once all these preparations were done, Wang Hao started his talk.

“So, care to tell me you name? I know you go by Thea right?” Wang Hao asked as he tensed his body from any unexpected thing that might happen.

“Shut up! I am here to silence you, nothing more than that!” The silver lady replied as she bared her teeth at Wang Hao. “Let me out of here! I have to silence you!”

“Why should I let out someone who wants to harm me?” Wang Hao muttered as he flicked the orb with his finger.

“You!”

While the silver lady continued cursing at Wang Hao, Wang Hao scrunched his eyebrows as he seemed to be deep in thought.

Wang Hao knew that when he first met Thea, he saw that the soul inside Thea’s body was not the original Thea, but an assassin woman whose soul transmigrated into Thea’s body.

That just means that Thea’s body and her soul were different, now that her soul is the soul of a transmigrated person.

“Maybe it’s just me, but it could be that it was only Thea’s body that was hostile to me, and not her soul.” Wang Hao thought as he ignored the silver woman cursing at him.

Only something like a bloodline power could turn Thea’s body into something like the silver woman.

If that was the case, then maybe Wang Hao could still talk with Thea’s ‘soul’.

After all, Thea’s soul was different since her soul was the soul of a transmigrated person. Her soul could still be slightly incompatible with her body.

Maybe, just maybe, her transmigrated soul was slightly unaffected by her body’s current transformation.

“Well, it never hurts to try.” Wang Hao muttered as he closed his eyes.

Humming sounds could be heard around Wang Hao as his body trembled.

“Hong!” Wang Hao then opened his eyes, with both of these eyes letting out a glint.

“Soul Jolting!”

Using his abilities, Wang Hao amplified his soul energy countless of times.

Wang Hao then spat out this amplified soul energy on his eyes, sending it towards the silver woman.

The silver woman froze as Wang Hao’s domineering soul energy penetrated her.

Seconds later and her body trembled, as if something wanted to come out of her.

“Yosh, it’s working!” Wang Hao thought as the silver woman began to tremble more.

Soul Jolting was a technique where a practitioner uses his/her powerful soul energy to ‘jolt’ another soul.

Technically speaking, this was an offensive technique that was used to distract an opponent in battle. After all, having your soul jolted during fight will make you falter, and possibly injured.

But right now, Wang Hao used this technique not to injure the silver woman, but to ‘wake up’ the soul inside the silver woman.

Wang Hao was betting that Thea will wake up, as he theorized that since this woman’s soul was a transmigrated soul, then there might be some chance that it was still unaffected by the body’s current condition.

“Wake up wake up wake up….” Wang Hao muttered as he saw the trembling of the silver woman decreasing.

“Hey, what the hell did you do to me?” When Wang Hao heard this voice, his tense body relaxed as he placed the orb back on the ground.

It seems like he had succeeded. Wang Hao managed to wake up Thea’s soul, and now it’s the transmigrated Thea talking to Wang Hao, not the crazy silver woman.

Since the power of that silver woman was great, Wang Hao was not sure how long the lucid state of Thea could last.

He has to gather answers right now before Thea’s soul gets overwhelmed by the silver woman.

“Hey, are you listening to me?” Thea said as she looked at Wang Hao angrily. “Why am I all silver now, and why am I inside this orb huh?”

“Duh, that’s your body, so you should already know what happened.” Wang Hao said as he looked at Thea. “Maybe you can try remembering what happened.”

“Hmm…” Thea cupped her chin as she tried to do what Wang Hao said.

“I remember polishing some of my knives, then the next thing I know, my body… became silver all of sudden.” Thea’s eyes widened as she looked at Wang Hao. “When that happened, I felt extreme rage against you. It was as if that time, all I wanted was to just kill you.”

“Then…” Thea’s voice trailed as she continued talking. “I gained great power, and I… I used that to try killing you. Wait, then I remember that you placed me inside this orb. Yes, that’s what happened! I am sure of it now!”

“So you had no control of your body earlier, I presume?” Wang Hao said as tapped the orb playfully.

“I really could not control my body earlier.” Thea muttered as her voice turned weaker. “Earlier, my soul felt extremely drowsy. I can still feel my body, but I could not control what it was doing. It felt… like a dream.”

“A dream huh.” Wang Hao muttered as opened his palms.

“You are the one who woke me up from the dream right?” Thea muttered as she gave Wang Hao a thankful look.

“Now that you managed to wake up my soul, I think I can restrain the power inside my body now.”

Thea then closed her eyes for a moment, as if she was extremely focusing on something.

Then under Wang Hao’s eyes, he saw that Thea’s silver body was losing the ‘silver’ in it. Wang Hao could also feel the killing intent focused on him disappearing too.

“Huff.” Thea let out a sigh moments later as her body regained its original appearance.

“Impressive.” Wang Hao muttered as he saw what happened. “I just woke your soul up, and you managed to do this. Your soul really must be powerful.”

“Ehem.” Thea coughed awkwardly after hearing this, before giving Wang Hao a glare. “Now that I am back to normal, why don’t you let me out here?”

“Are you sure that you won’t go berserk once I let you out?”

“I am sure of course!” Thea replied angrily. “Now that I suppressed this power, you do not need to worry about it flaring up.”

“But,” Thea raised her voice a little, interrupting what Wang Hao was about to say. “This power told me that once you lose one more of those petals, it will flare up again.”

“Wait, you can talk with that power?” Wang Hao raised his eyebrows, seemingly intrigued by that fact.

“Yeah of course I can.” Thea replied angrily. “It seems like my transmigration allowed me to ‘communicate’ with this power.”

Upon hearing this confirmation, Wang Hao’s eyes glinted as he gave Thea a smile.

“Thea… I will let you out of this orb if and only if you can ask the power inside your body some questions for me.”

“Oh, so you are going that route huh.” Thea said as she crossed her arms. “Why do you think I will follow what you just said huh? Tsk tsk, so you are threatening to contain me here, and you will only let me out if I help you on your questions? Hmph, you may be good in bed, but it seems like you still suck on appealing to women’s emotions.”

Wang Hao pretended to not notice Thea’s insults as he continued smiling at her.

“Well Thea, aren’t you curious about the power inside your body? Don’t you want to know more about its origins?”

“…..”

Wang Hao’s guess was spot on. Just like what he said, Thea was extremely curious and also scared about the power inside her body.

Since she can communicate with this power, Thea had many chances to ask this power about its origins.

But Thea did not ask this power anything, as she was scared on what might happen. Maybe this power will go berserk and try to attack her. Since she was not sure for her safety, she avoided asking the power the questions that might offend it.

But right now, Wang Hao was beside Thea, and since he also wanted answers about the power inside her body, he will surely protect Thea even if something awry happens during the questioning.

“Fine, you win. I shall talk to it now.” Thea said as she closed her eyes. Her soul then reached deep inside her body, until it reached a silver ball floating inside her dantian.

This silver ball was the source of Thea’s weird power and Wang Hao’s worries.

The silver ball shook a little, acknowledging Thea’s presence.

Upon seeing this, Thea took a deep breath before saying,

“Tell me. Who… who are you really?”
