The Alpha's Return

Right now, the moment he knew that he was turning into the red wolf, he got us here. How is that not improvement? That is truly the biggest change I have seen in all my years.", Praneeth said.

"Biggest? Don't exaggerate.", Michael said.

"With how Lucas is right now, I am sure of it. He is in a much better state than Benjamin.", Praneeth shook his head.

Michael sat back down, and all the others did as well..

"Alright then. Does the same vote hold, or is it going to be a revote?", Arthur asked warily.

"The council has already voted. It cannot be changed unless a life-threatening event occurs. Those are the rules, no matter how much we hate them.", the woman with the tree arms said.

"Really Eva? Do you think this is not a life-threatening moment?", Raphael said.

"It could be, it might not be. We cannot say for certain, and in those cases, the book tells us to head the former vote.', Eva said.

"You are going to stick to the rules now? Of all times, now.". Raphael said.

"Rules are dead. People are alive. When it comes to deciding between the two, there will never be even a brief hesitation. If a revote is what you think is right, then a revote is what we shall have. We were given this position because of the immense power we hold. If we cannot even take care of this issue, then how are we expected to deal with the event scheduled for the next century?", Praneeth said.

"What event? What are you talking about?", Arthur asked, agitated.

"It is true everyone. I wished to inform you earlier, but the circumstance has stopped me. I have received word from a few gods. Ouroborus is moving, breaking from his shackles. Fenrir is completely awake for the first time in centuries. Hell is breaking loose, and Lucifer is revolting. Loki disappeared and the Titans are waking from a their millennium slumber. I am afraid, Ragnarok is coming."
