Ming Yan furrowed his brows as he spoke with uncertainty. “I feel that, though Master Wang has physically taken his leave, he has not truly given up. He’ll think of other ways to get you to counsel Miss Wang.”

“He won’t.” Dongfang Ming renounced Ming Yan’s theory. “Xuan’s not someone who’d do that.”

He was quite sure of it.

Unwilling to press the issue, Dongfang Ming changed the topic. “We’ll set off for Anping Town in a few days. Get ready.”

All this talk that sneezing meant either someone was thinking of you or talking bad about you was just superstition. She was merely following what the others had been taught to say.
