Lizbeth’s Smith Shop had a workshop exclusive to forging weapons in addition to the storefront.

Under normal circumstances, the customers had to place an order first and returned to the Smith Shop once Liz has forged their desired weapon.

Of course, Asuna was an exception.

Even if Liz forbade anyone from entering her workshop, Asuna would just barge in, often startling Liz, who was so absorbed in her work

But this time, Liz allowed Rozen and Asuna to enter her workshop.

“All right.”

Liz turned toward Rozen with a serious look on her eyes, reminding Rozen that she really was a blacksmith.

“What kind of weapon do you want?”

Although the weapon and its stat were random, Players could at least decide what type of weapon they wanted to forge, including some aspects of the weapon itself.

Although Rozen himself has never used the Players’ service to forge a weapon, he did ask NPC to forge a weapon several times, so he knew how it worked.

“I want a one-handed straight sword that emphasizes str (strength), also give it as high endurance as possible without compromising its attack value.”

That kind of rough stats preferences could be altered to some degree.

Even though the final result was random, by using the right materials, the weapon’s main stats could be manipulated to lean toward the Players’ preferences.

For example, if Rozen wanted a weapon with str (strength) as its main stat, he simply had to use the materials to bolster the weapon’s main stat.

In short, as long as a Player could provide the necessary material, they would be able to get their desired weapon.

However, Rozen was not done yet…

“If it’s not asking too much, I hope that you can forge the strongest sword.”

Rozen smiled at Liz while making such a request.

“A sword that won’t lose to anyone’s sword.”

That request left Asuna speechless.

“Huh?”

Even Liz was taken aback and immediately stared at Rozen surprisedly.

“Oho, you went ahead and said it.” Liz said challengingly: “since you ask such a crazy request, I believe you came prepared, right?”

Asking for the best weapon was easy. Anyone would’ve wanted one for themselves, but the question was whether they had the necessary material or not.

Even if the Player had high enough Blacksmith Skill and excellent forging tools, the most crucial factor was the materials.

Therefore, if you want a sword that won’t lose to anyone, you must prepare rare enough material that not just anyone could get their hands on. Did Rozen had such materials?

The answer was yes.

“Tring!”

As Rozen browsed through his menu, suddenly, a piece of metal appeared in his hand.

“Will this do?”

Rozen then handed over the metal to Liz.

Liz could finally see the metal clearly after she held it in her hand. It was a silvery-white translucent crystal.

“Beautiful…”

Asuna was the first to voice her amazement with glittering eyes.

Meanwhile, Liz instantly noticed something the moment she laid her eyes on that metal.

“This… isn’t this a super rare S-grade metal…!?”

Liz’s hands were shaking all of a sudden, and her voice also sounded hoarse.

“S-grade.”

The terms used to classify the rarest items and materials in SAO, and Rozen just brought out that very S-grade rare metal.

There was no doubt that there may be other materials that rivaled the quality of the metal that Rozen just took out of his storage, but there should be none that exceeded it, and that was why Liz was so excited.

Even Asuna looked at Rozen with astonishment.

“You actually have an S-grade metal?”

Even the Knights of the Blood’s vice-leader couldn’t hide her astonishment. That was how rare the metal was.

Rozen himself could say for sure that it was the only S-grade metal in SAO.

The reason was simple.

“This is the LA reward from the 55th Floor Boss. There should be only one of this metal in Aincrad.”

Rozen explained how he got that S-grade metal.

The geography of the 55th Floor was largely inconsistent. While the main settlement is located in an area of hilly grass fields, the Labyrinth was located in an arid and desolate wasteland devoid of any vegetation and riddled with multiple canyons.

Meanwhile, the western region of the Floor consisted of fields that were covered in large amounts of snow and ice, even in early summer.

However, just like the 55th Floor’s main settlement, Granzam, iron, metal, and other minerals could be found throughout the entire Floor.

As a result, metal and ore processing became viable, causing a lot of Players to gather on this Floor.

55th Floor’s Labyrinth was no exception either. The monster also used heavy metal armor and weapon, which was really difficult to deal with.

Even its Floor Boss was a steel giant. Despite being slow, its defense and hp were ridiculously high to make up for it.

It took almost all the Clearers got to deplete its six hp bar, and Rozen was the one who got the LA reward, which happened to be the S-grade rare material he just took out.

“I have some more metals. Use it, however, you see fit.”

Rozen took out one material after another from his storage.

“Teng… teng… teng…”

The sound of heavy objects hitting the Floor filled up Lizbeth’s workshop.

Asuna was at a loss for words; she just saw the materials fell on the table. Of course, Liz was no exception.

Although the pile of materials that Rozen just took out was not S-grade rare metal, they weren’t materials that even a Clearer could come across easily.

Yet, Rozen just shoved a bunch of that materials to Liz without batting an eye.

“That should do it, right?”

Rozen said at the two girls in front of him after amassing the pile of materials with a smug look on his face.

In response, the two girls simply blinked a few times in disbelief.

“What’s with that look? Is it not enough? I still have some more if it’s not enough.”

Hearing this, both Asuna and Liz instantly yelled.

“Enough enough! Stop it already!”

“Just where did you find this many rare materials? This is clearly against the rules!”

Liz and Asuna stood at the same time, making Rozen laugh so hard.
