Egelza watched carefully as Alina looked at Kaizen with tears in her eyes, and at that moment she knew that his arguments had had an effect on the librarian. At that moment, the mage felt that she had to act quickly before Kaizen and Alina escaped her clutches, and she didn't mind using force to get what she wanted.

The Dawn Mage looked at Kaizen angrily, her eyes glowing with an intense red light.

She then raised her left hand and began to channel an enormous amount of mana into the center of her palm. With a simple movement, she raised her grimoire, and the pages of the thick book began to fly rapidly as Egelza began to cast a powerful spell.

Kaizen caught the glow of the incantation out of the corner of his eye and prepared to fight, but before he could act, Egelza was already building a massive amount of energy around them. Her magic was frightening.

At this distance in this enclosed corridor, there was no way to dodge an attack, and even if Kaizen used <Telekinesis>, it would drain his mana.

At this point, Kaizen knew that he would have to resist by using the special ability of his armor.

Therefore, Kaizen let go of Alina's hands that he was holding tightly and stood in front of her to protect her. He knew this was a risky move, but it was necessary to protect the librarian, as anything could kill her, considering how weak she was from being tortured for so long.

However, as Egelza built up more and more energy in her left palm, Dhetha, who had been silent, finally decided to take a step that was not part of the mission she had been given, nor was it an order from her superiors.

She swung her retractable scythe in Egelza's direction, hoping to put an end to her. But Egelza was a powerful and experienced mage who had already sensed Dhetha's emotional turmoil.

But Egelza didn't even have to dodge the scythe blow, because her spell wouldn't have blown up the corridor they were in, this spell didn't have that function.

"ARGGHHH!" Egelza screamed in anger and pain as she suddenly released all the mana she had accumulated. She felt a sharp pain in her chest, and as everyone was pushed away from her, the space around her bowed, turning the dark corridor into a toboggan and distorting reality into a portal.

Kaizen, Alina, and Dhetha felt a dizzying sensation as the dark corridor curved. They knew that Egelza had been channeling teleportation magic all along. Only the sensation of this teleportation was strange and confusing, as if their bodies were being dissolved and reassembled somewhere else.

When the feeling finally passed, they opened their eyes and saw that they were in a completely different place than before. Now they were in a large hall with quartz walls and a very high ceiling. The light that illuminated the room came from large crystals that were set into each of the thick pillars of the place in identical sizes, as if they were part of the architecture of the place.

Egelza stood, panting, eyes wide, one hand on her chest.

Dhetha looked around and recognized the place. This was one of the training rooms of the Citadel's municipal headquarters, where she had trained in her youth.

"Where are we?" asked Alina, still dizzy from the sensation of teleportation.

"A terrible place." Dhetha replied with wide eyes. "Shit, we have to get out of here now!"

Egelza looked at Dhetha with a cold smile. "No, you will not get out of here, especially you, Alina."

Kaizen clenched his fists angrily, ready for battle as well, he thought:

I don't know how she did it, but she was able to teleport not only herself, but also other people exactly where she wanted without using any crystal or item. I can't tell how powerful she is because her stats are hidden, but she's definitely strong.

Egelza laughed, as if she found Kaizen's expression of determination funny. You are a fool, Psyker. Don't you see what's happening? You are in the worst place you could be if you go against the will of the current elders of Olaynore."

Kaizen frowned. "I know what you want, and I cannot allow it. And I'm not saying this because I care about this extremely segregated world you've created here, but because I care about Alina. If you want to fight with me, do what you want, attack me directly and try to kill me. But no matter how many times you succeed, I will come back here as many times as it takes to save Alina, and if I ever come back here and it is too late, you can be sure that my goal will not only be revenge, but the total annihilation of Olaynore". He said with determination, and as he spoke, his excited eyes grew larger and larger. At the end of his statement, he had the expression of a bloodthirsty madman, as if he could already perfectly imagine himself destroying the Tower of the Magi.

Kaizen knew full well that he was facing a powerful opponent and that a fight against her would be difficult, but his confidence was unshakable. He positioned himself in front of Alina and Dhetha, ready to face Egelza.

Egelza was now in complete shock at Kaizen's threat. Unconsciously and involuntarily, her body trembled with fear and uncertainty. The psyker's aura was frightening, and she had never before faced someone who claimed to be able to return from the dead. Normally, she would think this was utter madness, but considering that it was the Psyker who was claiming it, she was not about to bet all her chips that it was a bluff.

At that moment, she considered whether to fight or retreat. For a moment, she hesitated, but fearful of failing in her mission, she reached forward, and the grimoire followed.

Then a mysterious figure stepped out of Egelza's own shadow, and her uncertain expression turned to pure terror. This figure was tall, much taller than the Dawn Mage or the Psyker, wearing a long cloak, with very long blond hair, white skin, and pointed ears.

Everyone in the white quartz hall immediately sensed that this was a very powerful mage, with an imposing and dark aura that intoxicated the environment, capable of making the oxygen in everyone's lungs heavier.

Egelza's eyes widened as she looked back, realizing that this was one of the elders of Olaynore.

"What's going on here?" the elder asked in a cold, authoritative voice that echoed through the hall. "Egelza, explain yourself."

The old mage swallowed dryly, feeling the weight of the Elder's authority on her. She didn't know what to say, and her body trembled with fear.
