Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 550 - A Fairy From The Heavens

"Eh'¦What do you mean, Damien? How can we be in a place that doesn't exist on our continent? Maybe there is just a barrier around this place that prevents us from trying to reach others," Reva said with a perplexed expression while thinking about what Damien said.

Damien slowly shook his head, "I am not sure, but this place surely doesn't exist on the map of our continent. If you were able to use your spiritual sense, you would have realized that we are standing on an island. Wait'¦you don't know this place? I thought you would know since your grandmother is the one who told us to come here."

Reva was surprised to hear that they were on an island and said in a confused tone, "An island? Grandmother never told me about any such place. And surely our Rising Sun Continent doesn't have any islands around it but only vast oceans. But still'¦where could the others have gone to? Will they be alright?"

Seeing Reva getting worried about them, Damien gently reassured her, "Hey, don't worry. I saw them getting teleported, and surely it must be to a safe place like this one, especially since senior had marked the destination herself. As for this place, I think we will have to wait for her to heal and wake up to get the answers we need. But are you really feeling fine now? You are safe now, so it's fine to'”"

Before Damien could complete his sentence, Reva suddenly rushed towards him and hugged him while softly sniffling as if she was trying to hold back her tears.

"Reva?" Damien could feel her cold tears dripping on his shoulders and wetting the fabric of his robes.

"I-I thought I lost you when you fought against Yohr'¦seeing you collapse on the ice like that made me feel like it was the end of the world'¦" Reva's voice was breaking as she let out the intense emotions she had been bottling up for a while. Even if she had mastered the way to keep her feelings and emotions in check due to her ethereal arts, there was still a limit beyond which she just couldn't hold back, especially when it involved her man.

Damien felt his heart soften hearing her words, "Reva, I'”"

"And yet you tried to put yourself in danger by going up against the imperial army all on your own'¦Do you have any idea how many times my heart stopped beating, especially when he attacked you? I thought I was going to lose the two most important people in my life today'¦" Reva couldn't help but pour out her inner feelings that were flooding her mind all this time.

Damien felt guilty and sad hearing her words, not expecting that she was hurting inside all this time while he was fighting them. But then he understood her feelings since he would also feel the same whenever his women would go out to fight alone. He already had experienced those feelings many times in the past, and it surely worried him like hell.

He hugged her supple body warmly and caressed her back as he said, "You know me, right? I don't die that easily. Besides, I would never do anything reckless without being confident in what I am doing, especially since I have people like you waiting for me. So how could I dare to do something stupid and get myself killed?"

Reva relaxed as she felt reassured by her words, thinking that she was overthinking too much. She knew Damien was a responsible man, and even if he was young, he was way more mature for his age, even more than her.

Damien pulled her back slightly to look at her face and lifted her lowered face up by her chin to see her otherworldly countenance, which seemed even more dreamy because of the faint redness in her cheeks and her glimmering azure eyes.

"You still look so beautiful like a fairy from the heavens, and I am quite lucky to have you for myself," Damien said with a charming smile, making even the cold-faced Reva smile abashedly as she evaded his gaze while feeling better than before.

"Don't tease me like that'¦You already said those embarrassing words about taking me away before the entire imperial army and well'¦him," Reva couldn't help but feel her face heat up again just thinking about Damien domineeringly declaring her as his woman looking down on Ruthren. It made her feel on top of the world, especially when seeing how Ruthren could only helplessly listen to Damien's words.

Still, she couldn't help but feel a great sense of happiness and bliss, "I am sorry'¦I didn't mean to become angry at you'¦especially when we all got saved, including my grandmother mostly due to your help," Reva said, feeling guilty for getting angry at Damien before without thinking straight.

She felt that the injuries in her soul plane were preventing her from thinking straight.

"We all saved each other'¦If it not for you helping me out in that cave, Yohr would have devoured me before I could even do anything," Damien said with a sigh, still feeling a sense of dread just by thinking about it.

Reva silently smiled as she looked up at his face and caressed his cheeks while enjoying the warmth of his embrace. She didn't know why he was increasingly becoming more charming and handsome in her eyes to the point she couldn't take her eyes off him.

His firm, manly lips seemed inviting and warm as she caressed it with her fingers and slowly leaned her face towards him as she tiptoed. But before she knew it, her eyes were becoming blurry as her senses began to dull, and the next moment she fell unconscious over his chest.

Damien, who was expecting to kiss her, was taken aback when she suddenly fell unconscious. But then he relaxed as he sensed that her soul plane was busy absorbing the essence inside her and needed some rest.

Still thinking about how he was about to kiss her, he couldn't help but mumble, "That was awkward'¦"
