Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 530 - There Is Not Much Time

"That'¦was at least an attack on the level of a Low-level Heaven Ethereal Realm'¦" Damien mumbled in awe as he looked at the faint red line on his forearm. He didn't even feel any pain other than a slight sensation of something hard striking his forearm.

"How strong is my body now?" Damien asked in a baffled tone as he looked at Luna. His nerves were tingling in excitement to realize how superior his body was, especially compared to his cultivation.

Luna smiled and said, "No one under the Profound Ethereal Realm can kill you with a single attack. And that means even if a Middle-Level Heaven Ethereal Realm cultivator was to attack you, you could still put up a fight if you are careful about it. As for a Peak Level Heaven Ethereal Realm cultivator, you can run away from them with your lightning-fast movement skill. But for putting up a fight against them, you still have some way to go."

"Doesn't matter. Master has become much more powerful now and has no need to worry about bottlenecks. It wouldn't be long before he stands tall in the mortal world and moves on," Kalypso said in an optimistic and confident tone, making Damien amusedly smile though he did feel like he could make her words come true as long as he kept at it.

The amount of confidence he had before was incomparable to how he was feeling now, especially regarding Lily's situation. He felt that things didn't seem that bleak anymore, but he knew he still had a long way to go to reach a level where he didn't have to worry about the Xeton Emperor who was sitting at the top of the Rising Sun continent.

Damien also sensed that in his ethereal core, the azure Origin Seed was no longer present! Instead his jet-black Origin Seed now had an azure blue ring around it with strands of energy connected to the jet-black Origin Seed.

He realized that his original Origin Seed had absorbed Yohr's Origin Seed! This was just something he was unable to wrap his head around and didn't know this was even possible.

"Well, you should take this huge corpse into your soul space. I am sure you can break it down later into useful pills that could help for your cultivation and healing purposes," Luna pointed out as she slammed her feet onto Yohr's huge dead corpse.

His body no longer looked majestic and regal like before but seemed as if he was tortured for seven lives without a break before dying. But what happened, in reality, was quite similar considering he had everything stripped off of him, including his soul essence, his Origin Seed, and even his ethereal core.

Damien agreed and snapped his fingers as the huge corpse of Yohr got transported to his soul space. A True God's corpse, even if it was in a weakened form, could surely be useful some way or the other.

Luna's face suddenly paled as her ethereal body flickered and stumbled over as if she was going to fall.

"Luna!" Damien quickly stepped forward and grabbed her before she could fall and asked worriedly, "What's going on with you?"

"You pervert'¦stop taking advantage of me like this'¦" Luna said in a languid tone though she didn't even seem to have the energy to chide him like usual.

Damien had realized that his arm had unconsciously wrapped around her slim curvy waist and was holding her like a lover. Still, it was not like he had a choice and asked frantically, "Come on, Luna. Tell me why you are like this?"

"You have to leave'¦now. Yohr's death will definitely be known by that stupid emperor since this pool is connected to an energy reservoir that the emperor is maintaining to give him the necessary energy after draining it from those Zirians. I could only delay it so much before he comes here to investigate and find out everything. I just bought you ten minutes. Now go!" Luna said whatever she had to say quickly before she fell asleep and disappeared into Damien's soul plane, where she fell asleep in her Shard of Essence, which she still uses for recuperation.

Luna also brought along Valentina with her and placed her back into her original resting place before going to sleep.

Damien realized that Luna must have used her newly regained powers to make sure the Xeton Emperor didn't learn about Yohr's death while he was busy possessing Yohr's Origin Seed. He could only feel guilty about how much of her soul energy she had to sacrifice yet again for him.

"Damn'¦we gotta run!" Damien quickly ran towards Reva and saw that she was still unconscious since her soul was still mending itself. Taking on multiple spirit attacks from a True God, even if it was a weakened one, was not something a mortal could brush off. It was still a miracle that Reva was still alive and didn't suffer any life-threatening injuries. He felt that it was her divine soul essence that saved her.

Damien picked her up into his arms while Kalypso disappeared into his soul plane as well to take some rest as well since she drained most of her nethereal energy, helping Damien fight Yohr.

There were now barely nine minutes left, and Damien inwardly felt tense since he knew that he had indirectly put the Forsaken people in danger as the Xeton Emperor would surely destroy their home base once he came to know that Yohr was dead.

No'¦if Yohr was already in cahoots with the Xeton Emperor, wouldn't it mean that he always knew about Reva's alter identity and also the home base of Forsaken? Were they all already doomed in the first place?

But why did the Xeton Emperor never take any action if he already knew everything? Was he toying with them or letting them do whatever they want for his own amusement? No'¦he must have definitely planned something else!
