Rewind System: Vampire Harem In The Apocalypse

Xavier awoke in the following morning with the silver haired beauty fast asleep beside him. Her arms were wrapped around his while she slept with the happiest expression he'd seen.

A slight smile grew on his face as he stared at her expression. The warmth and softness of her skin caused him the recall events from the previous night causing a hint of redness to form on his cheeks.

While flustered he looked away from her and over the bed before the thought flashed in his mind.

'Holy shit... Last night was amazing...!'

With a flustered expression, he slowly moved Sangrea's arm out of the way before quietly sittong over the bed's edge.

*Creak*

'No one told me sex would feel that good... It was even better than the time I drank human blood... The sensitivity... The emotions... The urge.'

Xavier felt more connected to Sangrea than ever. He could feel her steady heart rate and breathing.

Just from staring at her alone, he could feel his heart beating faster. In his mind she was all that he could think of, in the moment.

'So this is what it means to have a Vampire Bond.'

Without him having noticed, his fully rested rod had began to bulge and purk up once more from beneath his underwear.

In order to not let himself fall into temptation he quickly and quietly rushed out of the room before hastily shutting the door behind him.

Once outside he took in a deep breath before slowly letting it out.

"You're finally putting on some muscle on your physique. It wasn't that long ago where you were nothing but skin and bones." A voice came from beside him.

Startled, his eyes widened as he swung his head to the right only to notice Anastasia standing in front of the doors beside him. She had her maid outfit on and was carrying a towel.

Her shiny eyes squinted downwards at him. Xavier followed her gaze and glanced down only to notice that he was wearing nothing but his underwear.

What's more, a somewhat large bulge could be seen hiding beneath it.

"...So, how long are you going to continue to stare?" He asked as he placed his hands on his hip.

"I thought revenge was the only thing in your mind... I guess even someone like you gets embarrassed by things like this." She responded as she raised her eyes.

'She's still holding a grudge from yesterday.' Xavier concluded.

"Embarrassed?." Xavier raised a brow.

"Who said I was embarrassed? I was just surprised that a maiden such as yourself would be so interest in my holy sword, is all. But I guess even you are curious about these things. It must be hard being inexperienced." Says the man who'd only just lost his virginity.

Upon saying what needed to be said Xavier walked past Anastasia, watching as her expression suddenly grew flustered from his retort.

"W-Who said I'm inexperienced...?" She whispered, showing him a glare.

"Who said you weren't?" He responded with a smug smile before disappearing down the hall.

"Mn~ Fwive mwore mwinutes~." Sophie responded.

Xavier tapped the girl's soft cheeks as he crouched beside the bed which she was fast asleep in. They were inside of an empty room beside Anastasia's and the Head Butler's.

It was opposite to his sister Viera's room. The layout was perfect in case they'd receive another attack in their sleep.

"No, wake up now. I need you to figure out the final step to solving this thing before I leave."

"But I'm twired..." She responded, curling up into a ball as she covered herself with the blanket.

Xavier clicked his tongue, knowing that he didn't have much time.

If his sister, Viera found out that he was still in the mansion, she'd do anything she could to stop him from leaving.

Knowing this-

*Pierce*

He bit into his thumb with his fang, creating a small hole for his blood to flow out of. Before it could heal, he swiped the blanket off of Sophie and thrust his thumb into her mouth.

"Mmph!?"

*Gulp*

At first she was startled, but after the first gulp of his blood. She relaxed and her eyes narrowed.

*Gulp* *Gulp*

Whilst gazing at him with her narrowed eyes, she began to suck more and more blood out of his thumb.

Seeing this he quickly pulled his thumb out of her mouth before wiping the saliva and blood off with a tissue he'd placed in his pocket.

"That's enough isn't it? What are you, trying to drain me?."

Sophie stuck her tongue out towards him and responded. "You... You're lucky your blood is tasty, if anyone else tried what you just did, I would have killed them-"

*Sniff* *Sniff*

Sophie who'd caught a sweet feminine scent coming from his body, leaned in to sniff him.

'Hm... He smells like Sangrea... I'm guessing they finally bonded.'

"What Is it?" Xavier asked as he smiled nervously.

'Must be nice having someone to bond with...' She thought to herself.

Sophie let out a sigh.

"Let me guess, you're here in order to figure out the final condition to getting that damn cube to work?" Sophie asked once she noticed it on the floor beside him.

"Yeah, did you think of anything?" Xavier asked.

Sophie shook her head.

"Sorry but I got nothing. I've completed the puzzle, now the only way to figure out but unlike the puzzle itself, the condition for activating it could be anything..."

Xavier rubbed the back of his head. 'I guess I'll have to give up on unlocking this ancient relic.'

"Oh, and can I have some more of your blood? I haven't had breakfast yet and-"

Suddenly, both Xavier and Sophie's eyes widened as they realised something.

"Blood!" They shouted out simultaneously.

Without wasting another second, Xavier bit into his thumb once more before grabbing the cube and placing it beneath it.

Both Xavier and Sophie watched excitedly as his blood flowed down his finger only to drip onto the metallic cube's core which rested within it's intricate mechanical design.

*Drip* *Drip* *Drip*

"..."

After the first three drops, nothing happened.

Seeing this, the two began to lose hope.

"Looks like it was a fail... Let's try something else..." Said Sophie with a disappointed look.

But it was then that it happened-

*Bzoom!*

A surge of radiating silver energy burst out from the cube throughout the room. Passing by both Sophie and Xavier.

Xavier and Sophie's eyes widened in excitement as they watched the energy pulsate out of the cube as it's internal pivot mechanism began to turn it's parts independently.

[Ancient Relic: Infinity Cubed Has Been Unlocked.]

The two stared and watched as the parts continued to turn repeatedly.

"Hurry! Transfer your energy into it!" Sophie shouted.

Xavier quickly turned to her.

"How do I do that?"

A puzzled look appeared on Sophie's face.

"You know how to fully control your ability but you don't know how to control your evolution energy?"

It made sense that she would find it suspicious, unlike for Xavier, she didn't have a system which controlled the use of her abilities.

Neither did anyone else. In most human's cases, they left it to instinct or training and still couldn't reach the level of proficiency that Xavier possessed.

This was because Xavier was backed by the system.

That being said, Xavier always assumed that he could control his ability without the system, he just never thought of the need to.

'Maybe I should start practising without the system's help?' He wondered as he stared at the cube before him.

"Yeah, but now's not the time to ask. How do I transfer it?" He asked as he held onto the cube.

"Imagine your body is a container, it holds all your energy within. Picture it filling you up, picture the energy as a liquid which filled your container!"

Xavier took in a deep breath and sat down, crossing his legs before picturing what she described.

'He has good instincts, but it should take awhile until-'

Sophie's thoughts were interrupted as almost instantly the air around her got heavier. She glanced at Xavier only to find a dark crimson aura of energy surrounding his body. Flowing around him as he remained seated with his eyes closed.

[Energy Sense Has Been Amplified.]

[You can now see the flow of energy within your body.]

'...W-What...?' Sophie couldn't believe her eyes.

"Now what? Speak faster!" Demanded Xavier, whilst he struggled to maintain focus.

Cold sweat dripped down the side of Sophie's face from the frightening amount of energy.

"Y-Yeah once the image is clear, imagine a flow of energy coursing throughout your body and into the cube in your hand."

Without a hint of hesitation, Xavier instantly pictured the energy bursting towards the cube at fast speeds.

The light in it's core began to shine brighter and brighter, slowly shifting form it's bright silver to a dark crimson red which matched Xavier's aura.
