Liam's body was still feeling hot. It was almost as if he was slowly melting.

His pores had long since opened and a sticky mass was slowly released from the inside of his body. The sticky mass merged with his cold sweat and it fell to the ground with a splash, forming a puddle around Liam.

The temperature in the attic was constantly increasing due to the natural heat of the young Halfling. His entire being was extremely hot right now and it seemed like things were getting even worse the more of the sticky mass he released.

It smelled disgusting, enough to make Liam retch, and nearly take him out.

He could hardly breathe, which made it more difficult to stay calm and composed. Focusing on the circulation of Arcane Power was also not that easy.

Liam released more and more cool Arcane Power from the Livral Orb. However, instead of allowing the Arcane Power to spread through the building, he was more focused on absorbing it.

He created a small systematic with which he repeated a simple process of circulating Arcane Power through certain pathways inside his body. That way, his body cooled down a little, enough to make sure that he wouldn't die.

Time passed slowly, and Liam focused on further decreasing the temperature of his body. With that in mind, he created a small vortex of Arcane Power inside his body. The vortex was just a small revolving swirl at first, until it was expanded, creating a temporary Arcane Vortex in the center of his chest.

The Arcane Vortex changed various things for Liam. First of all, it increased the circulation speed of his Arcane Power, which was already a great gain as it allowed him to spread the cool Arcane Power further through his body. His control of Arcane Power was easier and it felt more refined as well.

This was not only due to the influence of the temporary Arcane Vortex. No. It was also something that was caused by the badly reeking black impurities he had released all over his body.

Every body had impurities, and being with more Impurities were known to have a weaker burst of Arcane Power and a slower circulation speed of Arcane Power.

Overall, one's talent with Arcane Power was usually determined by the Innate potential of the being, and the 'purity' of one's body. No matter how high someone's Innate potential was, if that being's body was overflowing with impurities, they wouldn't be able to control Arcane Power precisely.

This worked out the other way around as well. If one was fully purified but only in possession of low Innate potential, even the effects of relentless training would have limited effects.

While Innate potential was something one was born with, it was possible to train hard and break through the limit. This was an exceedingly rare occurrence and not something anyone in the wooden hut had to take care of. The only thing they had to pay attention to was cleansing their body of impurities to unleash their dormant potential.

This included Liam, whose body as Halfling was easily flooded with impurities. His repulsive bloodlines were usually the reason why his body accumulated impurities. Somehow, impurities caused his repulsing bloodlines to lay low and stop clashing with each other.

While that was a good thing, it didn't help him become stronger. Impurities were bad for his health, and they may actually kill him indirectly. After all, being unable to display his full combat prowess due to restricted Arcane Power control was not impossible.

It happened often enough. Thus, Liam rather had his bloodlines clash and harm him a tad than restrict his Arcane Power control further.

The more time passed, the easier Liam found controlling Arcane Power. The surrounding Arcane Power coated him tightly just like the firm embrace of a lover. The amount of impurities spreading across the attic was quite considerable by now, but that was only something Liam noticed when his body returned to its original temperature.

He opened his eyes and was immediately bombarded with a convulsing smell. Liam began to retch a few times while his Arcane Power spread through the attic, shrouding the sticky and badly reeking mass of impurities.

He stored them in the shop where e sold them for a small fortune.

Some semi-intelligent monsters really loved impurities. Liam was still not sure how something as disgusting and restrictive as impurities could be converted into a useful resource that increased the combat power of monsters.

Though he might not know how that was possible, he knew that someone would buy it. Being able to get rid of the bad smell and earning some pocket money was certainly a good feeling. Liam enjoyed it quite well as he slumped back to the ground where he continued to rest for a few minutes.

'Am I strong or weak right now?'

Even though he felt extremely powerful right now, compared to before of course, he was pretty sure that his feet couldn't cary his body weight properly right now.

Trying to get up from the ground, his legs shivered like leaves in the midst of a storm. His calves were like jelly and he stumbled through the attic to make his way to the ground.

Taking a look at the others downstairs, Liam quickly figured that most of them had used some Kikal Stalks and one Kikal Tonic each. They were still in the midst of the digestion process, which could be seen and smelled.

Thus, Liam retrieved the Livral Orb to release more Arcane Power which he sent through the first floor of the wooden hut. He made sure that everyone could sense the cooling sensation of Arcane Power on their skin. Controlling the Arcane Power precisely, Liam coated everyone in it, providing a tiny bit of support.

There was no need to overdo it, but he wanted to show the others what a little Arcane Power could do.

While controlling the Arcane Power, he looked at the tens of notifications that had popped up when he digested the Blood Yokai el Rey Serum.

He waved his hand and removed the notification to look at his status panel instead.

Before, his Strenght, and Stamina had been at [D-], his Agiltiy [D], and both his Arcane Power and Will [C-]. However, right now, his lowest stat was [A+].

He was not too sure how much time had passed, or how long the weakened state and the exhaustion would last, but Liam was certain that his current stats were too good to be true.

As long as he used the remaining Arcane Power stored in the Livral Orb to train his Arcane Power, it would inevitably increase to the S Rank. By then, he could initiate his Bloodline awakening, which would provide him with an overall increment in Arcane Power, body, and mind, thus increasing all of his stats once again.

'Wasn't [S] the highest rank? Didn't everyone say that you can create an Ancient Arcane Circle as long as all of your stats are at the S rank? Was that wrong? If not, is there a rank above the Ancient grade?' Liam wondered.

He squinted his eyes and began to doubt his current knowledge. His Vitality stat increased to SS-, which meant that it might as well increase further until SS+, or possibly even SSS- once his Bloodline Awakening had been completed.

That confused him quite a bit, understandably.

He was only in his mid-20s, but his experience of life and his knowledge were not something anyone could acquire easily. It was quite confusing to find out that there was something his 'family' didn't know either.

'If mother doesn't know, this find would be amazing…but is she really oblivious? Like seriously? It seems more logical that she didn't want to tell anyone about the possibility of creating an Arcane Circle of a higher grade than Ancient rather than her being oblivious. Does that mean her Arcane Circles are at the Ancient grade, or the grade above?'

Liam was deep in thought as he continued to release Arcane Power through the Livral Orb. He was seated on the staircase because he felt incapable of ascending the stairs once again. He would have to turn around and step upward. His body didn't want to support such a thing right now.

But that was fine since he could shroud his mouth and nose with enough Arcane Power to repulse the reeking stench in the ground floor.

It was quite interesting to watch the others sweating buckets and trying to focus on maintaining the temperature of their body. It was certainly not an easy feat, especially not after Liam threw a bait at them with the Arcane Power that began to shroud their body.

Maintaining the temperature of their body could be made easier by circulating Arcane Power through their body. However, multitasking was certainly not something everyone could do, especially when it came to precisely controlling Arcane Power.

Liam was not having a hard time because he had already been a 4th Circle powerhouse in the past. At the young age of 22 did he reach the 4th Circle. That was a phenomenal achievement, and also the reason why his mother and siblings had gotten interested in him once again.

Liam actually regretted creating his fourth Arcane Circle.

However, it was not his fault that he was so fast. The opportunities he had were at fault if one wanted to put it like that.

But that was not it either.

After all, everything was his mother's fault.
