Yu Qi went to the monthly meeting at Qinyue Group Headquarters. She listened to the reports and nodded with satisfaction.

Everything was working normally. She left the meeting room and walked around the building. She saw someone.

Quan Hou Chi, the daughter of Bai Gu Wen, Bai Zi Fang's younger sister. Yu Qi was quite surprised to see her here.

"What is her position?" Yu Qi asked Lei Yingtai.

Lei Yingtai checked on her tablet. "She is working as an intern in the HR department." Lei Yingtai stated. She showed Quan Hou Chi's information to Yu Qi. Yu Qi read the information. Quan Hou Chi's resume was quite good.

"Hmm... How strange why does she apply internship here?" Yu Qi said.

"Our Qinyue Group is growing rapidly. We already entered the top 10 business group. That is why people want to build their careers with us." Lei Yingtai said.

"Well, she should apply for the internship with Bai Cooperation instead of us." Yu Qi said.

She did not want to live with her mother who did not care much about her. Her father cared so much about her, asking about her daily life at her life. Sometimes they went out to play together, having fun together. Her mother? She was never in the picture. Her mother ignored her. Sometimes, she did not see her mother for one week. She did not have any idea where her mother had gone. Her mother was angry.

"You should choose me instead of your poor father. He could not give you anything." Bai Gu Wen said.

"Even though he could not give me something expensive, he can give me love. I don't need some expensive thing." Quan Hou Chi stated.

Bai Gu Wen gritted her teeth. "If you want to be with your father, fine. You can not find me in the future. I will not help you anyway." Bai Gu Wen stated.

Since her daughter did not want her, she would not want her daughter. Since that day, Quan Hou Chi stayed with her father. Quan De Bei had been fired since the company was under Bai Cooperation. So, he found another work at a different company. It was a small company.

Quan Hou Chi felt anger for her father. It was her mother who cheated on her father but her mother made it look like her father was cheating on her. Therefore, she hated her mother.

After finishing her study, she sent out her job application to many companies. One of them was Qinyue Group. She was very happy when Qinyue Group called her for an interview. She passed her interview with flying colours. Now she was working as an intern in the company.

It was time for her to go back. Then, her call was ringing. She looked at the number. She did not recognize the number. However, she still picked up the call in case it was from her coworker. "Hello. Who is this?" Quan Hou Chi answered the phone.

"What? You don't know your mother already?" Bai Gu Wen's voice could be heard from the other side.

"Mum?" Quan Hou Chi called her for confirmation. "That's right. It is your mother." Bai Gu Wen talked to her daughter with a condescending attitude.
