Many years later….

At a small cafe on top of a grand hotel in the middle of London, Kana sat sipping tea. On her head was a baseball cap with her hair pulled through the opening in the back in a ponytail. She was sipping on a cup of tea and eating a strawberry scone. Across from her was her lifelong best friend, staring at her with a depressed look. "Kana, why haven't you gotten married?"

"Nikkie, you have been with me for well over seventy years. You know by now I have no intentions of getting married. I am solo for life. This is just how it is. The company is now in the hands of my brother and his family. We have billions to live happily with. This is why I am just traveling the world. Life has really been good. Although I did enjoy holding your babies." Kana smiled warmly at her long time friend. They had been through a lot together. She watched Nikkie fall in love multiple times. She had her heart broken just as many times before finding the right man. Now, she has four kids and a few grandchildren. Her husband loved her dearly and spoiled her rotten.

"You did seem very happy when I had them. They all started calling you mama at one point. That was a horror show." Nikkie let out a long sigh. She remembered that she had taken a long time to get them to change how they called Kana since she felt jealous.

"Haha… Sorry about that. Anyway, this will probably be the last time we meet." Kana said with a small smile. She hated to say it, but she had accomplished what she needed to do. Her life span was coming to an end. "Yeah, maybe…." Nikkie sighed as she looked at her old friend. "But just know. I cherished our time together since the very start." "As have I. So let's make the most of today…."

Twenty years later, Kana stood in front of a grave. Her wrinkled face showed the age of time that had taken hold of her. She looked at the grave with a warm smile and knelt down, placing the white lilies on it. Kana smiled warmly as she sat down in front of the grave. "Life has many twists and turns. You have given me many fun years. Although this place is not real, and although everything will disappear after I die, I will never forget you, Nikkie. My dear friend and partner in crime."

Kana wanted to say she would be joining her soon, but that would be a life. Fake or not, Nikkie was her friend. A sister. Kana's head hung as she closed her eyes. She had come all this way not only to say goodbye to Nikkie but to finally end everything. Her time was up. Since Nikkie was gone, there was no reason to stay here.

"You had a long journey. Much longer than expected….." Kana looked at the other her and smiled. "It was just another step in my life. I have met many people. I have watched many pass away. Living forever when you have people in the mortal realm you care about is not easy. Whether what you showed me was an illusion or not does not matter. Nikkie was a good girl. From the day we met until the day she died, she had never changed."

"I see. Your compassion for your friends and family. I have seen it all. You passed my test so well that it truly amazes me. But then again, I should not expect anything less from myself. "You have one last trial to overcome. A trial that can take your life at any time. You are about to enter a world that is flat. Your task is to each the other end of the world and go through a door that is there. If you can complete this trial, you will see me again, and I reward you." Kana's past self smiled at her and let out a sigh as she continued: "But I must warn you…. Do not trust anything that Landel says. Never trust him."

"Understood. I will not trust him. Not that I want anything to do with him. After all, how can he compare to my handsome husband?" Kana's eyes filled with love as she spoke about Creige, showed just how much she loved the man. He had been there for her since the very start.

"I guess we were blessed to meet someone who truly loves you for you and not your power." Kana's past self wished she had met this Creige as well when she was alive.

"He saved me. He saved me from a life filled with sorrow. A life where I felt living alone was the best way. He pulled me out of that sorrow and breathed life into my grey world. He is the only man I will ever love. My past lives mean nothing when it comes to Creige. I mean, I do not even know this Fatman? Losertan? Whatever his name was. Why would I suddenly jump ship? I will take care of the girls who call me Mama. This I will do but I will not even let that man touch a single thread of my hair. If anything…. If he even thinks of harming my family…. I will turn him into nothingness…" Kana's final words were filled with killing intent. She cared not for whom Landel once was to her. She would never betray her family and the man she loves. Even in a trial that was fake, she rejected everyone who tried to ask her out. "Hehe… You are so me…." Kana's past self smiled before standing up. "Time is up. Please head out through that door. Your next trial will begin once you pass through it. I wish you good luck. And be careful. The void beasts are very powerful. But it should help you refine your skills. Also…. Your powers will be restricted until then. So you can only use your wits."
