Chapter 128: I Will Never Fail To Recognize You

Yu Shijin hung up the phone.

The black car was parked right beside him.

He quietly glanced up at her, his chilly, profound eyes slowly warming.

Su Huiqing took up her jacket.

She put it on the moment she alighted, zipping it up and smiling at Yu Shijin while rubbing her nose. “Sorry…”

“Mmm.” Yu Shijin knew what she was going to say. He gave a slight frown as he interrupted her. “Let’s go up first.”

Su Huiqing had reserved a private room.

She pushed open the door to find it empty. She raised her brows. “Where is Chu Xuning?”

“He has something on,” Yu Shijin replied impassively.

The waiter quickly served them all the dishes and left.

In the blink of an eye, only the two of them were left in the relatively spacious room.

Su Huiqing had just been in a fight and was really hungry. As a result, she didn’t pursue the matter of Chu Xuning, and just started eating.

Yu Shijin sat facing her, playing with a lighter in his hand. He didn’t pick up his chopsticks much.

Midway, one of the waiters came in to ask if they wanted to order dessert. He was instantly scared off by Yu Shijin’s sharp, harsh look.

Yu Shijin then turned back to see Su Huiqing leisurely picking up a piece of roast chicken.

Her lowered eyes were exquisitely clear and lovely.

Yu Shijin’s pupils suddenly narrowed.

His heart jumped.

For the first time, he lost his usual reserve and blurted out. “I thought you don’t eat chicken?”

His voice was as cold as ever.

But it lacked his usual gravity.

Those dark eyes were fixed on the girl. For the first time in front of her, his expression turned terrifyingly cold.

The air inside the private room was freezing.

Even the two bodyguards standing outside the private room could feel that overbearing tension.

However, Su Huiqing didn’t seem affected by this change in atmosphere at all.

Instead, her hand paused on hearing his words.

A chilly glint flashed across her eyes.

She buried her thoughts and slowly finished up the roast chicken.

She then lifted her gaze and tossed her napkin to the side.

Calmly, she stood up and straightened her own clothes, before very smoothly opening the door.

Su Huiqing was calm the entire time.

At the very final moment, just as she was placing her hand on the door, she turned and said placidly, “You probably got the wrong person.”

She nearly pulled the door off its hinges.

Yu Shijin pushed back his chair and reached over to hold her hand.

He placed his other hand on the wall behind her.

Trapping her between the door and his own body.

The distance between the two of them was instantly narrowed.

Yu Shijin lowered his head, his elegant body leaning slightly forward. His face was cold and solemn.

An intense turmoil swirled in the depths of his dark eyes.

“You think that I got the wrong person?” Yu Shijin stared at her coldly.

Su Huiqing pursed her lips. She didn’t answer.

Yu Shijin’s eyes darkened even further. Gritting his teeth, he said pointedly, “Listen to me carefully, I may fail to recognize anyone else in the world, but I will never fail to recognize you!”

A strange feeling rose up in Su Huiqing’s heart.

But it was gone within a second.

She calmly drew back her own hand. “Maybe.”

Su Huiqing replied with just that one word.

She then opened the door and left.

After settling Dugu Yan, the chief detective and gang came to find Yu Shijin.

He remembered that Boss was having a meal with Ms. Su today, and he should be in a very good mood.

However.

When he pushed the door open, he was stunned by the thick, smoky air inside.

“Master Yu, the Ning Family’s private jet has arrived.” Chief detective spoke hesitantly.

Yu Shijin just lowered his gaze and flicked the ash on his cigarette. Without lifting his head, he commanded coldly. “Get out.”

His voice was soft.

But it harbored an intense bloodlust.

This was the second time he witnessed Master Yu behaving in this manner.

Chief detective was clearly shocked. The previous time was just two months ago.

“Don’t make me repeat myself.” Yu Shijin turned his head to reveal a pair of bloodshot eyes.

Chief detective immediately shut the door.

Su Huiqing left the hotel.

She stood waiting for the rental car.

Soon after, a black car stopped in front of her.

Her heart jumped. The car window was wound down to reveal a black-clad bodyguard. He respectfully got off and opened the back door. “Ms. Su, Master Yu asked me to send you home.

Su Huiqing lowered her eyelids.

She got into the car without a word.

The International Association police station.

A man wearing a simple white shirt and black pants was just hanging up the phone. Someone pushed open the door from the outside and executed a proper military salute. “Captain Bai.”

“Speak,” Captain Bai replied simply.

“There are new developments regarding the military firearms incident on the eastern continent. The investigating team followed your information, and discovered that the explosion was not an incident, but was premeditated.”

Captain Bai lifted his eyes. “How so?”

“It was… very similar to that explosion at the International Association. Two of the big three have already issued an arrest warrant, to have us capture the suspects.”

“Any other news?” Captain Bai finished flipping through the documents that the person had brought him. His gaze hardened.

“There is an address sent over by the top brass.”

Captain Bai glanced at it. He put on a baseball cap. “Okay, let’s go.”

Meanwhile, at Demon Concentration Camp.

Number One Arms Dealer Sun God Apollo: Oh my god Bai Yi, what do you mean by this? Bringing a team of people over to surround my hideout?!

Bai Yi was indeed calmly standing outside Apollo’s hideout.

He paid no attention to the message.

He was just about to turn off his cell phone when he received another message. A simple black and white profile.

Bai Yi instantly halted his intention to turn off his cell phone.
